Overall, I would give Peak Pro a B+. Unfortunately, that is not a rating choice on Angie's List, so I'll take some time to explain. I'll start by saying that the quality of the work appears to be very good. I can't say for certain until we see how everything holds up through a season or two, but based on my monitoring of the job and the final product, I'd give them an A- on quality. I can't give them a full A because their were a couple pretty obvious things that they initially skipped. However, as soon as I pointed them out, they were addressed immediately. In addition, I thought the team did a great job of fixing things I pointed out. Ultimately, the house looks great and since we paid extra to go with Sherwin Williams Duration, I hope we can get 10+ years out of this paint job. There are a few pieces of constructive criticism that I would give to Peak Pro: 1) Expectations vs Experience: During the sales process and at the start of the project, I was told that we would do daily walk-throughs of the house either the project manager or the team lead at the close of business. In reality, this happened sporadically and primarily only when specifically requested. Additionally, we had some small/hairline cracking in our stucco. During the sales/estimate process, we were told that these would be addressed and were not a concern. However, when it came time to paint, the team told us that they do not fill cracks in stucco the way they do for the siding. One of the owners even called to further explain this. In both instances, my issue is not with the final result as much as it is "doing what you say you're going to do." 2) Communication and Organization: Overall the communication was pretty good. However, there were a few instances where that was clearly not the case. In one case an email I sent was never responded to. In another, we had a time scheduled to complete some touch ups and do the final walk through and they completely missed the appointment. I didn't get a call until 4 hours later that they needed to reschedule. Anyway, outside of a few areas of improvement, I thought Peak Pro did a very good job. They will certainly be in our list to hire in the future and I would recommend you put them on your list of companies to consider.

It went well. They gave us a fair price and were very perfessional. They did the job in a timmley manner and were very efficient. My only complaint is that I was untold that if we do power washing ourselves that it was not cover under the 2 year warranty.

Painters were polite, clean, professionsal, felt completely at ease with them in the house. Quality of the painting was excellent. The exteirior painting required no touch ups or corrections. The interior painting needed a few touch ups which the painters did as I requested. My house looks beautiful inside ad out!

Everything from the estimate to the end of the painting was done professionally and expertly. The two painters were very good, doing excellent prep work and a very neat and thorough job. The foreman also suggested changing the color of the front porch posts and rails from the body color to the trim color, which made a big improvement in how the house looks from the street. The estimate for the painting did not include all the repairs to the chimney, whose damage only became evident after the painters got a close look at its condition. I'm glad they found and fixed the damage. The add-on expense was very reasonable and done quickly and skillfully. The cost of the service includes the painting and repairs. Peak Pro also fitted me into their schedule earlier than expected, due to another job being delayed. The house was way overdue for some attention, and it now looks better than ever. After doing exterior painting myself or hiring people who do it in their spare time, I have to say it was more than worth it to hire professionals who could do it right and quickly.
Description of Work: Two-story house preparation and painting with two colors. Preparation consisted of pressure washing, replacement of siding and trim boards on chimney and front porch, scraping, priming, and caulking. Paint colors were same as existing colors. House had last been painted seven years before.

Very nice people eager to please. However here is what happened. Their price was roughly what I heard neighbors were paying and they seemed to know what they were doing. I asked if they were using Mexican workers and they assured me they were their own. I pointed out the number of gallons of paint on the estimate looked low but they said it was correct. So I signed and gave the me deposit. They contacted me to check their estimate again. During that time I decided to use a different brand and higher cost paint so I asked for a price adder for the better paint. When I got the cost it was several times higher than the difference in the paint cost. So I questioned it and Grant admitted he was trying to make up for not including enough paint in the estimate. We agreed to split the difference. They started painting with the Mexican workers they assured me they would not and would paint right up to it almost raining. They came back as soon as the rain stopped and started painting over the wet exterior. I called Grant and they stopped painting but the front was already done before I caught them. Then they continued painting after the house had 3 hours to dry, probably OK, but would put the second coat of trim 15-20 min after the first coat. One painter following the first painter by only 5-10 feet. While this was going on I had to watch them as they were dripping paint on my deck and porch. Keep in mind they were very nice guys and if I pointed something out they would jump right on it. Once they were gone I noticed paint had been tracked down my deck stairs. Spots on the deck the size of a shirt buttons. The railing was splattered with paint. They sprayed about 8and quot; top to bottom of the first fence picket with the body color. The house looks great but I wonder if I will be paying another painter in a couple years if the paint starts to peel? They have a warranty! Who knows?

The basics: Peak Pro did an outstanding job painting our house. I would highly recommend them. We have a 1,900 ft2 1970s split level with a brick garage and stone on the lower level of the front of the house. That should give you an idea of the area that needed to be painted. The house has its original wood siding with some cracks on the front (faces east, so gets the morning sun). The cost was $2,400 and Peak Pro was running a special early in the summer, so we got 10% off. They power washed the first day and the painting took a full two days (we used two colors). Check out their web site before calling them to see if they are running any specials. The cost was $1,000 less than another highly rated company on Angieand acirc;€™s List, so I would recommend that you get a few bids. The other company wanted to prime the entire house, but only the front needed it. Lastly, I would recommend that you use their color consultant, she was outstanding. She brought over large boards of sample colors, which made picking the right color much easier than using those tiny paint chips. For those that have never had a professional painter paint the exterior of their house: Very few of the companies employ their own crew, they contract it out. We got Ever (sp?) and his crew and they did a wonderful job. They called a few days before they arrived, showed up on time, and were very friendly and hard working. Justin will tell you that you do not have to be home, but I was curious as to how the process would work, so I worked from home. The morning after the power wash, Ever and I went over what areas of the house were going to be painted each color (we only used two colors) and then he and his two-man crew got started. They covered each window and door and put down drop clothes. They caulked the entire house and primed any necessary areas. They were able to prep and paint the body of the house in one day. The second day was spent on painting the trim, touching up the paint, and cleaning up. Every time I walked out of the house, Ever would stop what he was doing and ask if I had a any questions or comments. I did not expect him to drop what he was doing to make sure that everything was okay, but it was a nice touch. I found all of the crew to be very courteous. They did a really good job cleaning up and making sure that there were no drips on the porch or deck or overspray on any light fixtures.

Not professional, when they showed up, they had no ladder to get to one deck, even though the salesman viewed the site, and they were told this was mandatory. They wound up having to come thru the house. One deck had areas not properly covered, owner committed to redo, never saw or heard from them again. Called twice- no response, even though I was told they would correct the issue. This appears to be a collection of subs, not a real company that stands behind what it does, based on my experience.
