He evaluated the problem - it was not the thermostat. It is a problem with the wiring to the floor tile. No charge for the evaluation. Polite and professional.

Jimmy Jr. was exactly on time, he explained everything he was doing, explained good furnace maintenance, and ran through the diagnosis with us and made sure we understood that this was exactly what was wrong and that it was preventable in the future, so that we didn't have to get charged again. He didn't overcharge us. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

When the first installer the company sent out botched the installation, one of the owners personally came back to fix it and gave us another discount on the price for our time and trouble. The owners of this company stand by their work and go out of their way to do so.

Jimmy Jr. was competent in fixing the faulty igniter and worked very professionally. He explained what he was doing and included a preventative cleaning of the flame sensor as part of the service. I learned a lot about the operation of the furnace. I have no data or reference to evaluate value for money other than trust based on the other aspects of our interaction.

I hired Jimmy to access AC in my basement, he discovered my home was plummed, but looked like it was never installed. The father/son team sold me on installing AC in my basement. They were very friendly, family like and down to earth offering to also take care of a few other handyman services that I inquired about with them. Needless to say, after writing the check for the AC work (which I know nothing about to rate it other than it seems to work - I rated a 3 because that seems to make sense to me. I was disappointed they offered to help me and never answered my calls, text or returned again. I've put off writing this review, it even saddens me, because integrity is #1 in my life. Please don't offer or make a commitment and not follow through. Thank you.

My furnace went out during the late October snow storm when overnight temperatures fell under 10 degrees. I needed emergency service to fix it to keep my home safe from pipes freezing and most importantly to keep my pets safe. I was contacted immediately by Cyndi to schedule my appointment and she was able to schedule for the time slot I was available. My service was completed by Jimmie Jr who got right to work upon arrival and fixed the issue in about an hour. He was very helpful in answering questions and explaining what he needed to fix, what the cost would be and why. I am grateful for their help during my time in need.

OUTSTANDING!!! I would highly recommend this company to everyone. I will send this down my neighborhood list which reaches many, many people in Boulder. I live in a 98-year-old house, and they managed to get things working in this old place in an efficient professional and timely manner. Thanks to the two Furnace Gnomes Ryan and Ben for their work and thanks to Jimmy for the discount. You guys are amazing. Going to enjoy my toasty home this winter. 1000 plus 2 % recommend. Hurrah!

I hired True Blue on September 22. Jimmy first came across very positive and friendly, and said he could save me a bunch of money by fixing my condo's all-in-one HVAC system instead of replacing it. I was patient and allowed him to work on it when he had time. Unfortunately he abused my patience and strung me along for 2 weeks. All of our communication was via his cell phone, and at about 2 weeks I called the business number and talked to Cindy. She was apologetic and told me she wished I would have called the office sooner so that she could have gotten me on their schedule. (Don't ask me why their tech didn't make that happen. Just one of the disappointing events that I had with True Blue.) After that she arranged for Jimmy& son Jimmy to work on the unit. After being given assurance that the job would get high priority I was again given spotty service. Excuses for not showing up seem to be passed from father to son. Jimmy Jr. eventually got serious about working on it after I complained that True Blue had been working the job for 3 weeks. Unfortunately he was still unable to fix it. Today (October 22nd - oneonth since we started) Jimmy Sr. returned a call made to their office and asked if I wanted to have them replace the unit.Not a chance. I said in not so many words. I demanded the $1300 back that they made me pay before they would start the job (yes, I was stupid enough to pay that up front). The HVAC unit is now mostly disassembled and I had to find someone that was able to pick up the pieces and finish the job. Absolute nightmare! Cindy did promptly refund my money. She was the only reputable person at True Blue. I hired True Blue because of the positive reviews on Home Advisor, but I now wonder if those were fake. I advise customers to go elsewhere for HVAC repairs. All I needed was for them to act reputable, do the job in a reasonable time, or admit that they couldn't do it so I could hire someone who could. Instead I was strung along for a month and left with a disassembled mess.

Very nice man came out and diagnosed the problem. Stated he would schedule me to come back and fix the furnace. I got a call stating he was sick and was rescheduled for the following morning. The following morning 15 minutes after the time frame I got a call stating he was still sick and would probably stop by that afternoon. Never heard from him again. Very nice people to talk to. Very friendly and knowledgeable, just not very reliable.

Jimmy Jr. is top notch. He is extremely thorough, friendly and just really good. I will always ask for him!!

Inspection was clean. They shared what they were looking at and for. Didnâ t try to up sell anything we didnâ t need. Would recommend
