GATEAUX BAKERY

Fantastic! Everyone at Gateaux is just wonderful to work with. They have made amazing cakes for my children's birthdays. I came in with a theme, and let them go from there. Their creations were beyond my imagination. They are true artists, do everything by hand. They have a book in their shop that shows some of their amazing work. Their cakes taste great, their decorated cookies are the best I have ever tasted. Their wedding cakes are gorgeous. You can stop in and grab dessert at the last minute and it will be a showstopper. They are on the expensive side, but well worth it.

Gateaux did a superb job. First they tapped into the perfect dessert to serve after a spicy barbecue meal. The servers came in with the trays as our meal ended and the "ooohs" and "aaahhhs" that followed were perfect. Many people don't want a "whole piece of cake" but don't mind a 2 or 3 bite sweet to top off the meal. I ordered 1.5 pieces per person and they were all snapped up before we said goodbye to our last guest. No waste at all! And yet the compliments that came in after the wedding still went back to the dessert trays at the rehearsal dinner.
