Was a difficult replacement because of larger size and complicated placement from original builder. 3 different department (people) came out but needed HAVAC services who was able to complete job. I was very pleased with the effort and honesty of each person. There was no charge for the services and time spent by the first 2 people. My basement was finished so I had to call a dry wall person to repair the wall that had to be cut open. I was pleasef with Applewood services and will use them again.

They resolved it to my satisfaction but it was based on my effort to resolve a very poorly handled plumbing situation. I have used their electric service and their furnace service and been quite satisfied and would give them an A grade on those services.

All the work they did for us was great! They were on time, gave us a price prior to doing all the work and completed the work in a timely manor. And they cleaned up perfectly - no mess left at all. The above work was completed in 2 different visits (ie occurred at different times - several months apart). They will be the first people we call if we need any plumbing, electrical or HVAC services needed.

Called them in emergency situation and they arrived promptly. Installed a new pump, These guys know what they are doing but are extremely expensive. Will call a small plumbing company we've gotten to know if there is a next time.

The service was terrible. The first person was new on the job and could not figure out how to unclog. The first person decided to call second person that would us a camera to view the line. However, the second person to show up said that he was just another plumber. He worked for a while and decided the only way to repair was to bust up the concrete basement floor. This lead to a hole being cut in the drywall and a price quote around $8,000.00. The work could not be done until the following week. So the second plumber left the bathtub full of clog pipe gunk. There was an odor and a mess to live with for three days. I decided to get a second opinion and glad I did as the total cost to get clog open was $130.00.

I have used Applewood since 2008, when my eldest daughter purchased her 1975 home and quickly realized the previous owners had not updated the home at all. First thing to tackle was plumbing for a laundry room sink that she desperately needed with a new baby on the way. Then the furnace died and we also rerouted the exhaust vents (which was blocking the basement hallway. Then we tackled the electrical upgrades - New electrical panel and some rewiring of aluminum electrical wires inside the home. Then she decided to finish off her Full basement - Added an electrical sub-panel, re-located the laundry room, added a wet bar, all new wiring throughout the basement and updated the bathroom. BIG job and Applewood took care of everything, including building permit. AND promptly, whenever the schedule called for them to complete the job according to building codes. It was a pleasure to work with Harry Shrum (electrician) and Bruce (plumber) and all the other guys at Applewood - very professional! A little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for and they were always at my beck and call. My youngest daughter purchased a home in 2016, and we have carried on using Applewood for updating, too. Again, new HVAC (a/c and furnace), new electrical panel and additional wiring inside the home. Yes, we would definitely use Applewood again! P.S. The approximate cost of services I am stating are for over the years from 2008 to present. Also, I live in TN, but my daughters' homes are in CO.

Apple wood came into my home and fixed a problem cause by a tree trimming company hired by Excel,! Tree trimmers caused a power surge that shorted out my wiring! Excel thought they fixed the problem but they didn't! Called Applewood and they were here within 30 minutes! They rewired breaker and trace lines into attic! There were burnt and melted wires in the attic! Even junction boxes were burnt! My house was a fire Hazzard until Applewood Electrical fixed it for me!

The technician was on time and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. The repair was completed and the pricing was fair. I have used Applewood on several different occasions and I've always been satisfied with their work. I have used them for electrical work as well as plumbing work.

charged me $200.00 each to replace 3 tops for wallplugs. I felt ripped off for 10 min. of work

Fixed safety switch, looked over rest of furnace system, advised on the problem (overheating because of the horizontal installation of the furnace).

It happened at dinner time and they responded within 90 minutes, repaired the leak temporarily and returned the next day to complete the repair.

I hired them to put new sockets in a fan light and balance the fan blades. They replaced the sockets and bulbs. They tried for over an hour and couldn't get them close to balancing. They finally handed me the weights and told me I should try and do it myself. I turned on the main switch to light the bulbs and there was a buzzing/hissing sound coming from the switch which wasn't there before they came. He told me it was just the sound of the new bulbs. I told him it was coming from the wall switch and he said no, it was the bulbs. After paying them over $200 (that's with a free service call) they left. I balanced my fan blades perfectly in about 20 min. I then threw the breaker, pulled the switch out of the wall and found that a wire had been fried. I replaced the switch myself and it worked fine. No more buzzing/hissing. These guys were liscensed electricians and couldn't take the time to look further into the problem but chose to make excuses instead. I know they must have done something to cause the wire to fry when they were replacing the sockets. I think they knew they did and didn't want to admit it. I'll never have them again unless I want to be financially raped by a bunch of idiots.

They go out of there was to make sure you are satisfied.

They wanted $500.00, to install the faucet that I had pruchased. I refused to pay that much. They said that they had to maintain a fleet of fully stocked trucks. This is a job that requires a screw driver, channel locks, and the ability to crawl on the floor. It would take the plumber 15 or 20 minutes to install so let's say an hour.

Excellent workmanship with very little disruption to my daily routine

The technicians and office staff were always polite, informed, and professional. The technicians always explained what they were doing and why. They would provide a range of recommendations and go with the one chosen. Guaranteed work for at least a year and sometimes (depending on what it was) much longer. Pricier than other similar companies but well worth it.

The air conditioner is running fine. Tech checked our filter too. Said we had cottonwood debris, but was ok for this year, not affecting air intake. The visit was satisfactory.
