The doctor was fine, but they sent me a bill for $140 for well under 5 minutes of doctoring which I thought was outrageous considering what tie they spent.

The doctor (Sharma) was nice, but he spent well under 5 minutes with me to write a prescription, so you can imagine my surprise at getting a bill for $140! That's like $1500-$2000 per hour! I wrote a letter explaining why I thought it was unreasonable, expecting that a reputable company would explain things or offer some kind of compromise, but instead they merely sent another bill with a finance charge. I again wrote a letter, explaining things, and even called the bookkeeper, said I should submit an email on-line and the owners would see it, so I did that. Still no response. And the latest is they've given it to a bill collector who has tacked on another ~$40 on top of the outrageous bill. From my experience, they care only about the money, service is secondary. If you call them, nobody answers. You have to leave a message. The first time, the bookkeeper (who was nice) called me back, and she suggested sending an email on-line (as I said before). But after that, I tried calling back several times when I received another bill, leaving a message every time, and nobody called me back to discuss anything or even to let me know they weren't interested in negotiating and that they would refer the debt to a bill collector. I even sent them a check for a partial payment as a compromise offer, but after I got a notice from the bill collector, they returned my check with a form that said something like it was an "unacceptable form of payment." Apparently, they only wanted their money no matter what. Good customer service is not in their repertoire. It would appear that the bookkeeper was instructed by the owners to not return my call.

This was one of the easiest ER/urgent care experiences I've ever had. My PCM had no openings today so I was authorized to go to an urgent care center. The front desk staff were friendly and competent. After a very short wait (less than 5 min.) I was taken back to a room. The nurse was really nice and made me feel comfortable. Perhaps a minor point, but one I greatly appreciated, was that she actually looked at the paperwork I filled out in the lobby and took what information she could from it, instead of asking all the same questions for a second time. The doctor wasn't as friendly as the other people I encountered, but was competent and to the point. I was in and out in approximately 45 min., including filling out all the paperwork. I would definitely use this provider again.
