Superior Drain and Jetting

Being a retired plumber, I always snaked out our sewer main myself. Unfortunately I ruptured my lower three lumbar discs several years ago, and can no longer perform this task. I have an older home with clay a sewer line going from my house to the street, and with a large tree in the yard I need to have someone auger out the line at the very least every 18 months to clear out the tree roots that get into the hubs (connections). I wasn't sure who to call because my drain cleaner for several years retired. So I decided to check Home Advisor, I started reading the reviews for Superior Drain & Jetting. It was around 10:30pm on Sunday night, Robert called me at 10:45pm & scheduled a time for the next morning. Robert did an excellent job, was very friendly & professional. He showed up on time, took care of the plugged sewer main, and ran the snake back and fourth a few extra times to make sure that there would be no problems in the near future. I will be hiring Robert to come back to Hydro-Jet the main to further clean, & rinse the main from any dirt, sludge, etc. that remains in the sewer, So I can rest easier knowing that I shouldn't go downstairs to find a backup. I wanted to add one more thing, and that is there are a few crooked Drain cleaners in town that will tell their customers they have a crack, break, or collapse in their main, and that it needs to be excavated and repaired with PVC, which will cost several thousands of dollars. Robert did not try to pull that nonsense with me, and I appreciate his honesty, it is very much like an Auto Mechanic telling their customers that they need to repair/replace something on their car that doesn't need it.

Robert was extremely informative, helpful and dedicated to getting the job done for us today. I would definitely recommend using his service, and I will be calling him for any future plumbing needs that I have in the future. He was very pleasant even though we had a difficult time finding the clog. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. I would give Robert five stars any day!

Robert really put in a lot of effort to resolve the problem.

He didnt even have the most basic supplies or tools to complete the work a allowed him to attempt. Originally, the job was to repair a possible crushed sewer line from my home in the street. Since (after he took my deposit) he informed me he wasnt licensed, bonded, or insured at levels the city requires, I was going to let him install outside clean-outs in my yard, jet the line, and have him scope the line to confirm the condition of my line. His install of the clean-outs was sub-standard, so I told him he was fired. As of this morning, it sounds like I ll have to take him to court to get my money back.

Robert is a very nice man, a few issues with the sequence and it took a long time to do but we did get a good deal out of it.

Robert with Superior Drain did a fantastic job for us in repairing out sewer main. He also hydrojetted our kind and made things like new. He is very knowledgeable about all things drain wise. And he is very friendly. I highly recommend him.

He didn’t come at the time he said he would. I had to follow up with a text and a call. He said that he had me down for the next week. He ended up coming at least 3 hours later. He left a mess and part of his tool in the drain of the bathroom that wasn’t even the one we asked him to work on. On the upside the drain is now unclogged.

Robert was very knowledgeable and explained things in a very good manner. He was very helpful.

We paid a $75-$100 extra because it was the weekend but it was something that could not wait until Monday. He was very thorough and did a great job.
