Motorcycle Service
In the course of doing the requested repairs (at a cost of over $800) Rolf's mechanic (Phillip) damaged my transmission bearings, inserted fifth gear incorrectly (damaging the gear to the tune of $350), damaged the main shaft bearings (by improper insertion) to the cost of $1200, and failed to change the most basic (primary) gaskets. There was no evidence the recommended $250 internal gasket kit was changed. The local authorized Harley shop is familiar with Rolf's, as they get many customers wanting them to repair damage or poor work caused by Rolf's mechanics. I have damaged parts and mechanic and witness statements to substantiate my complaint. I will offer Rolf one more chance to make this right before seeking legal solutions (but doubt he will, as he told me they would not 'work on my bike' anymore). I will film my request and his answer, and (if my lawyer agrees) publish the film on YouTube.
