Forward Driving School

We engaged with the trainers from Forward more than once and found both instructors - Amar and Susan - very helpful. Their instruction was direct and clear and what impressed me was that they were training my son to be a good and safe driver an not to just pass the DMV test. Also their scheduling was flexible and their cars were clean and well maintained - good tires and brakes.

This business has the BEST PRICES in the area, which was important to us because my son needed additional training due to his hesitancy when driving (so the $480 we paid was because we paid for additional lessons). Parents teaching their children to drive? Not so easy since we got our licenses decades ago and can't necessarily remember all the rules to pass a driving test since it's second nature to us. Plus, I can't teach well. Frankly, it was just easier to pay someone to work with my son, then we could drive with him once he wasn't so new at it. It was this way when I went high school back in the 80s - we'd drive everyday with an instructor after school for a month. Other driving schools require that we drive with him in between the three-session package, before he had practiced all the on-the-road driving skills. This school allowed us to pay for the three-session package and pay for additional lessons so he would be ready to drive with us.
My son worked with Long Troung. Long is a kind, patient, and nice person. He is half Caucasian, half Vietnamese so he speaks perfect English. My son felt comfortable with him and enjoyed talking with him. We tried other driving schools in the area prior but they are much more expensive and the teachers are no better. I highly recommend requesting Long.
Andre is the owner and he is a nice person too. He was so happy to hear my son passed his drivers test.
