We needed to repair our driveway by removing approx. 12 Mexican Pavers and replacing with brushed concrete to match surrounding hardscape/driveway. These pavers were located directly dead center in the driveway. Louie and I agreed on where he would cut the old tile/concrete. We agreed that he would cut to match the existing joyce lines that were already on the other areas of the driveway. This would create a seamless look that would make it hard to tell the old concrete from the new. We discussed this location of the cutting both on Louie's first visit to give us an estimate and then again on the morning of the job. Unfortunately, right after reiterating were he was going to cut the concrete, Louie decided to cut six inches in on both sides from our agreed location. Luckily, I noticed this change a couple hours into the job and was able to question and correct this error. When I asked why he changed our plan, he just said he thought he would cut at the edge of the last Paver and not at the existing joyce lines where the other sections of concrete were. Louie was fine with correcting this change. I just couldn't understand why he made the change after we discussed moments before what the plan was, and if he made a change why not bring me out to discuss it. Had I not caught this error while running out to get the mail, my husband would have had me call him back out to redo the job. Everything else about the job was wonderful. The crew he brought was professional, they were on time, and the quality of the work in the end was great. I would use him again, but I would make sure he understands to talk to me before making any changes.

Louie s has been working for me for the past 14 years. He s done all my concrete work and has been absolutely wonderful. He is the best concrete man around and I would, without a doubt, recommend him to others.
