I would like to add an additional comment, to my prior posting, regarding the oak tree trimmed by Johnson's Tree Care. The tree is located between our house and our neighbor with limited space on one side and a very large limb only inches from the roof. He thinned and balanced the tree canopy and it's still very beautiful! One of the trees that was removed was located on the other side of our property between our house and the other neighbor, also with a very limited amount of work space. We are very satisfied and hope you will choose Johnson's Tree Care!

Arrived on time, job done quickly, very professional. Hauled away all the clippings as well. Will use for all tree trimming jobs from now on.

When I initially called a couple weeks ago, Kevin Johnson responded quickly and made an appointment. No one showed up for the appointment. I called several times. No one called back that day. I was very disappointed and upset that I sat at home waiting for hours. THE GOOD NEWS is that Kevin called back the next day and apologized profusely for the mix-up. He got the day wrong and was out of town. So he came over that second day to look over the work then he squeezed me into his calendar within a week. Kevin showed up with 5 workers this morning. After rechecking exactly what I wanted done, the team quickly cleared my patio furniture away and got down to work. Everyone was professional and did an awesome job. I was quite nervous about the giant jacaranda tree -- it had several branches (about 1 foot thick) that speared over my fence deep into my neighbors yard. Some workers looped ropes at one end, while others started trimming small branches off, and then one worker sawed the thick branch from the trunk. The resultant slide of the branch back into my yard was amazing to see! I wish I had taken a video. I was dead sure it would topple the fence, but it barely touched the fence. All dead branches as well as giant branches poking my house were trimmed off. Kevin and his team carted, raked, and swept everything away. The removal of all debris was meticulous. You almost couldn't tell those trees were even there. Twigs, leaves, and branches were completely carted away. (And they put my patio furniture back exactly where I had it.) I would definitely work with Kevin and company again.

He was excellent. He is extremely professional. he is a very knowledgeable person. He explained everything carefully. He did his work when he was able to fit it into his schedule. He was very prompt in meeting the timeline we established. He was extremely professional.

I didn't think they could complete the job in one day but they were very efficient and finished including grinding the stump. They cleaned up very well also. I highly recommend them

Mr. Johnson was very professional and sincere for the his work. Unfortunately the city did not allow the to cut the tree. Al big trees were under protected.

The whole experience was great. They did exactly what I asked them to do. All the guys were friendly. They did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely use them again.

Kevin's advice for one of the fruit trees was simply to remove it, as it was in bad shape and probably would never recover to the point of bearing fruit in the future. I took his advice, and asked to have a new tree planted in its place. Kevin handled finding the replacement tree, which was helpful and appreciated. His crew was fast and professional, arriving on time on the day we had scheduled for the work. I got two walkthroughs of the work; before and after. I was very happy with the quality of the work and communication, and thought the price was quite reasonable for the work done.

Kevin was very easy to work with, responsive, and very professional. A couple of other tree companies told me that I should just prune the (dying) tree and that it will likely revive if we just cut off the infected limbs. It turns out Kevin was right and they were wrong - while waiting for a permit from the city, another huge branch just broke off on its own (sunny day, no wind) and almost fell onto the sidewalk! Kevin is a certified arborist, so that was a big help in working with San Jose city hall to get the necessary permits for the tree removal. Leading up to the work day, he also contacted all the utility companies to make sure there weren't any pipes in the vicinity of the tree. The work itself went smoothly - his team was on-time, did great work, and left the work site very clean. Could not have asked for a better experience, and will definitely hire again for future tree work.

Excellent. They responded and provided the service on the same day that initially called them. They were very courteous and efficient.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Kevin and his team. After leaving our initial interest voice mail, Kevin got back to us almost immediately. This was also the case with emails that were exchanged and even rescheduling due to us having to change the date. Kevin and his team arrived exactly when they said they would. They performed everything we asked of them in the most professional way, and left our yard actually cleaner and more tidy than when they arrived. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to others. A 5 star job - Thank you!

I am thrilled with the work completed by Johnson's Tree Care, which included: major thinning on a neglected oak tree, balancing/pruning of a large Japanese maple & blue spruce, plus balancing of (3) year old crepe myrtles. Robert Regalado, sales manager, was wonderful to work with. Communication was clear, scheduling easy, and pricing very reasonable. He returned several times to monitor the progress of the job. There were no surprises . . . except for two truckloads of quality redwood mulch delivered the following week! Thank you Johnson's Tree Care! I couldn't be happier.

Kevin and his crew showed up on appointment day on time and ready to work. During the job, they asked me if I was satisfied with their work so far. I was. Everyone did an excellent job trimming all my trees and cleaning up afterward. They even reconnected one rain gutter to my house that had come loose months earlier. They completed the work much faster than I thought they would. I will definitely hire them again. I give them an A+.

OUTSTANDING...ALL UTILITY LINES WERE MARKED, THE CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND EVEN SCULPTED A CHAIR OUT OF THE TRUNK OF ONE OF THE TREES.

Showed up on time for the quote. Never sent the contract. Wasted my time.
