They called me three hours after submitting my request. They did a good job!

The work went very well. The initial cause of the work was that my oak tree overhangs my neighbor's property and was causing them some problems. I met with my neighbor and the representative from Bill's, and we were able to come quickly come to a good and clear agreement of what needed to be done. We were able to schedule the actual work fairly quickly, and the crew arrived promptly. The work ran over the course of two days, since there was so much, and the Bill's crew were careful to plan there work so they could do cleanup and be out of the way before all my neighbors would return from work. So, all in all, I think the work went well, and I was pleased with their professionalism and consideration.

They are very good. I've used them in the past. The interaction was good. They were great. They know what they are doing. They are reasonably priced and they are nice to talk to. They are trustworthy and I would definitely use them again.

Very low rating the original owner did OK. It was through a recommendation from another person but I think the son took over. They planted the additional trees too close to the original ones. Two of them died and they did not come back to correct the problem and they said they would. I was very disappointed. It seems like the running of BILL'S TREE went from Bill Senior to his son. I don't know what his son's name is. His son seems to be pretty exuberant and pretty enthusiastic. The quality of work dropped immensely.

Overall it went very well. Team was easy to work with and they did everything they said they would in the proposal. They even came back to clean up some things they felt needed some more work. They were very good with the new trees and made sure they were secure. i will use them again to do some landscaping.

They did a great job and the cleanup was spotless.

However, it appears that they have no idea what a appointment is. They can make appointments just fine but they show up whenever it's convenient for them. Not you. My appointment was for 1pm.

They showed up at 8:30am did the job and left. No discussion. No opportunity for questions. Things were finally resolved but I'll never use them again.

There has to be other good arborists that can actually keep their commitments.

They come on time, work quickly, clean up after themselves, and charge a fair price...what more could one want?

They have employees of their own and they don't contract their work outside. They give their people all the medical benefits and it seems like a nice family business. They were on time and they did a nice job.

Bill was very responsive, and his crew came when he said they would and were very professional.

They came, they saw, they worked, they cleaned up, and they left.

I have to say I will never deal with this company again. The reason is their Account Payable Department. Within an hour of the crew starting the work I was called to find out how I would pay. It went down hill from there. Their people neglected to pick up the check I had left - my husband was home. I got numerous calls and it wasn't until I left a message on the following Monday that if they needed immediate payment to call me so that I can give them my credit card number. I was made to feel like I was a dead beat that wouldn't pay the bill yet they were paid in full in less than a week after the work was done. And I would have paid that day if their people onsite had asked for the check like we had expected after the first phone call. On a side note they gave my neighbors an outrageous quote to remove their pomello tree which they had removed this week for less than half the price that Bill quoted.

This experience went exceedingly well. The workers were prompt and professional and scrambled up those trees with great ease. They had an eye for shape and design, not just chopped off like so many others trimmers will do.

The guys arrived about 90 minutes later than scheduled, but Bill had called to let me know. They worked very fast and the resulting shape of the tree looks very good. They cleaned up the branches and leaves, and also swept off the roof where much of the foliage had landed. The job took just over an hour and I was very satisfied.

Provided an estimate over the phone and scheduled the same time. Two days later the stump was gone and the area cleaned up. They were in and out in about an hour. Tipped the workers. Would surely use them again. Great service!

They were ok, their was nothing to complain about. We got several bids and they gave the lowest so we chose them. I would recommend them to my friends, they had a competitive bid, they were on time and they got the job done.

On time, quick work, cleaned up the branches and any leaves that were left. No sawdust spread out around the backyard either. They took away all the branches/leaves when they were done.

Bill Jr. was quite professional during his estimate, but he pushed hard to sell me on his bid. I hired him because he's a certified arborist and seemed knowledgeable about our oaks, which are the pride of our home. They had been butchered before, and had finally recovered from being shorn of all inside growth. The day he and his crew came, I had to leave but came back at lunchtime. Imagine my horror at finding all the inside growth once again stripped from our most prominent tree. Bill was indignant and not very apologetic when I complained, but agreed to cut 10% off the price of the oaks. He did speak to his crew about the problem, but they continued to trim the other oaks the same way. I found this to be unacceptable work for an arborist-run company and told him so. He agreed to come out and tidy up some dead branches that were left, but became aggressive on the phone when I held off on payment until he showed up. Once I paid him, he never finished the work. BEWARE!

This is the second time I've used them. I left a message in the morning with Bill Jr. and he called me back the same day. We met the next day to discuss what I wanted done. He also recommended that I not buy some liquid bug killer for my trees (I'd already purchased it) since it wouldn't work very well and it was pretty expensive. They cleaned up everything. Wonderful job! Very pleasant to work with.

Bill Jr. showed up on time for the estimate. As we walked around the property, he described what he would do with each of the trees on the property. He gave me a written estimate on a company form and pointed out all the special features or services, including grinding and recycling all waste, hauling and disposal of the palm because it could not be recycled. The estimate was itemized for each of the different tree species. After I had received all my estimates, I called Bill back and made him an offer for the job, which he accepted. The team showed up on the promised date, completed the tree trimming, cleared all the waste, and was gone in about 4 hours. The palm tree removal required a special tool and was removed, as scheduled the next day. I received an invoice the day after the work was done. I was very pleased with the experience of engaging the company, including the office staff, the work that was done, and the price.

We decided to use this company because the owner is a certified arborist and were told that his workers were well trained. They did a very good job, although they showed up almost four hours after their scheduled time. The reason seemed to be and emergency job elsewhere. Our trees are quite tall and the workers had to climb pretty high. They used ropes to reach the branches and were very careful not to harm the plants underneath the trees. After finishing they cleaned up all the debris, grinding up the cut branches. Now we can see the sun through the branches! After the job was finished we wanted to have Bill come and take a look at the trees. We thought the silk oak needed a bit more topping off. We left a message at the office but never heard of him.

I wanted a certified arborist to look at my 65-foot incense cedar for a health assessment. Bill Jr. came out and addressed my concerns and gave the estimate for all the work. Work was done a few days later. The cedar had quite a bit of deadwood going all the way to the top, but they got up and removed all of it. Cleanup was excellent. They left the patio, driveway and sidewalk swept clean. Total cost was pricey, but I hadn't had any work done for several years and it was overdue. Cost just for the cedar was less than what I'd paid someone else about 6 years ago so I feel overall cost was fair. My yard does look kind of bare with all the overgrowth (plus one tree) removed, so the lesson is to not let the trees get so far gone!

They promptly scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The owner came out and gave us a detailed quote and explained the work recommended. The quote was itimized so we could choose what we wanted done. The work was scheduled for the following week, but they called back and were able to get it done sooner, which was more convenient or us. A three man crew showed up right on time. The work was done quickly. They cleaned up well. All were courteous, professional and knowledgable. The only minor complaint was the shaping of a citrus tree--but this may have been due to unclear instructions (we wanted branches cleared from being too close to the house--so the resault left an unbalanced look).

When they got to my house, they first talked to me to see exactly what I wanted. They were three people doing the work and they charged me $100 per tree.

They did a perfect job of taking out a tree we had at the house. The stump was ground down well and the place was as clean as when I had left it in the morning. We were very satisfied with the total price they charged us for the service.

The trimming was great but did not include lowest limbs which we thought would be included. Contacted owner, explained complaint and discovered a miscommunication on the quote. Bill's returned and removed 18 inches of lower branches without additional charge. This was a very accommodating process and we are very satisfied and would use this service again and recommend it.
