They very prompt, courteous, professional, and alert. They were very attentive. They also had good follow up via email and phone calls. However, they didn’t trim the limbs over the roof and this needs to be done because it could cause a fire. I told them that before we pay them they need to do since it was in our original agreement but it's been four months.

They do a good job.

They cleaned up as well as they could; there are always a lot of shavings. I was satisfied. They were polite and courteous. They came in and did the job so I didn't have any complaints. I've had other tree work done and they were maybe a little bit cheaper, but not a lot. I will use them again.

Now I realize the difference between an "arborist" and a "tree trimmer".  By far the best experience in tree care compared to the many other companies I have tried. Thorough discussions of all the options, honest answers and fair prices.

They left the yard very clean.  They were very quick and they did a very good job.  We’ve hired them and they are working for us now on our rental property.  We didn’t use them just because they were competitive.  We just went back to them.  I think they were pretty good on price.  They really know a lot about trees.  They were excellent in everything.  I will use their services again in the future.

They did a very good job from start to finish, I would recommend this company if you are looking for tree work.

We found Bartlett to be professional and courteous.  They've been very prompt in coming out and providing free estimates.  During those free estimates they were very engaging and helpful in explaining our options and the pros and cons of various approaches.  When the crews came out to perform the work they were punctual, friendly and professional. 

Bartlett representatives where here on three occasions: the arborist who came to discuss the work and submit a price; the guy who did the insecticide injection; and the tree-trimming team.

On all occasions, Bartlett employees were friendly, professional, and very prompt (I think they were at least a couple of minutes early in each case. This is a good thing.)

The price was a few hundred dollars less than I expected to pay based on the work of other companies in the past.

I was especially happy with the work they did on one evergreen, which I believe was poorly trimmed/shaped/thinned by a different company last year (I like to have these trees worked on every other year, but this was so bad it needed more immediate attention).

A note of caution - and this applies to all tree shapers: if you have opinions about what you want done, you really should be there yourself while the job is being done. If you can talk directly to the guy doing the work, and he can talk to you about what he's doing and why, you will be much more satisfied with the results. I was very happy with my interactions with the Bartlett tree technicians: they listened to what I said, made adjustments, and were able to explain to me specifics of these tree species that affect how they grow and how they should be shaped.

We do ongoing work with them and I would say the price is high but worth the quality of their work.   They are very professional.

I am very pleased with their services. They have an outstanding manager in my place. Their service with their employees is just excellent. They do an outstanding job. They are recognized by my neighbors and everybody else. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

They are a good service. They do what they say they are going to do. They pruned what I wanted to have pruned and cleaned what I wanted cleaned out. They clean up pretty well and the place looks good when they finish working. They are here when they say they are going to be here. I am pleased with them.

I have used them for years.  They are wonderful.  I started using them since March of 1992.  They are excellent.

Bartlett Tree Expert Company is a long established company. My interaction with them was very worthwhile. They were very professional. They sent me a typed out multi page detailed estimate. They definitely would be someone I would recommend to get a quote from. I would contact them in the future.

We like that they know their trees and they are tree experts. They do trimming of the tree branches so that it does not hurt the trees and makes the longevity of the trees better. They also diagnose any problem with the tree that we might have. They are like arborists.

I have nothing but the highest regard for them. They are excellent.

The quote was reasonable. They were very knowledgeable. They explained to me the growing of a tree and how to keep it healthy. I can't say enough about them.

If my recollection is correct, they were prompt with the time they made for the appointment. They were very good on the estimate. They removed everything I wanted. It was good service.

Their pricing was too high. I checked other services too. They actually came in the highest. I am sure they would have done great work though. They came when they said they would and they were very professional.

Bottom line: excellent work. We got just what we wanted and more. I tried another major tree trimming company before and waited for three years to do anything further because it was not a positive experience. Bartlett turned it all around for me and I will definitely use them again and more often, as needed. (I just added them to my Rolodex). They provided this rare balance between doing what we wanted, dealing with neighbor's concerns, and providing expert advice. They showed up on time, responded to our suggestions and concerns, did the job that was expected (and then some), cleaned up our yard and any droppings in the neighbor's yards, and finished on time. They were courteous and professional. My husband and I had different ideas about what we wanted and they managed to satisfy us both! I'm busy and don't have a lot of time to write these reviews, but these people were too good not to comment on. (And no, I'm not related to any of them!)

We did not use them. We were very happy with their service. It was to cut down one of the trees and they came out and inspected, but did not come up with a proposal for them to do anything. They suggested what I could do and I thought they came when they said they would. Mark was the guy and he was good and he was honest about a solution. I found them helpful and appreciated that rather than trying to sell me something they made a suggestion that was helpful.

Took a little while to get through and get a quote, and actually schedule the work, but once scheduled, they showed up on time, were fast, extremely efficient, cleaned up every last bit of detritus, and took away all the wood. They were extremely professional. Probably would never use anyone else because this was such a good experience.

It was a very good service. They were very responsive and had a very good estimate.

It went great. I was in the middle of a dry-rot repair job on the front of the house. The contractor indicated that the tree was damaging the foundation and needed to be removed. I consulted Angieslist and found Bartlett Tree srvice. They did an estimate thqt next day and emailed me the price. I arranged to have the tree removed the next day. There was a mutual delay, and we scheduled for the following day. When I returned from work the tree was gone, and the entire site was clean. They performed the work on time, were courteous in the process, bid the price about the level of others, and kept the house site clean. It was a professional job and I definitely would use them again.

Overall, it went very well.
