A couple of weeks after Carini installed the new filter, another contractor came out who actually fixed the air conditioner problem and did a "tune up". He said that the new filter was a 4" filter whereas my furnace requires a 5" filter. I had taken a photo of the model number of the old filter and sure enough, he was right. He said having an improper filter allows dust into the furnace which damages it and this needed to be corrected. He also said that the filter was of very low quality (MERV-8). I told him I had paid over $82 for the filter and he said they charged $25 for the same one. After hearing that the filter was the wrong size, I contracted Carini. The person who I talked to was new so they connected me to their general manager. I explained the filter sizing problem as well the it being of low quality and much more expensive than other contractors. She said she wasn't technical (she's the general manager of an air conditioning contractor how technical do you need to be when something is the wrong size?) and things were hectic so it might not be until Monday until she got back to me. Rather than being apologetic about their mistake, she was defensive and also a bit cross. I still have not heard back from her and it's Wednesday. I'm very disappointed that this contractor installed the wrong filter while overcharging for it and didn't take accountability for their mistake.

Everyone and everything went smoothly. Installers Mark and Kevin were on time, professional and personable. They showed they knew their jobs very well and worked without even taking a break. They explained what they were doing as they went along. Answered my questions politely even when I asked the same one again.

They did a very nice job. They are responsive and the price was reasonable. The interaction was fine. The work was fine.

I am incredibly pleased with their work. They were maybe more expensive but i got full value for what i paid. I referred them to my sister and she hired them. Their responsiveness, the reason i hired them in the first place is i had some odors, like a gas odor and i had SGE come out and they said carbon monoxide and i chose them and they were jonny on the spot, right there. They were fully professional, it was great.

Well ... he called to tell me he did not have a product that would fit my needs.

Carini come in and they diagnosed the problem and more. The home warranty came back and fixed all that they found.

Perfect. Anthony D is the technician to request for sure. He was very professional, honest, found the root of the air conditioning problem right away. Anthony went above and beyond to ensure the problem that we were having with the air conditioner unit was fixed entirelly before leaving the property. He never at one point tried to upsale any additional issues. He identified the problem, showed me what was causing the problem, explained what he needed to do to fix the problem, reviewed the cost before doing the work, fixed the problem. First service provider I've ever felt 100% comfortable in knowing I hired the best person to do the job. Thank you Carini for sending Anthody D to do the job for us. I will recommend Anthody D to everybody I know. If you are looking at Carini to hire for your air conditioning needs do yourself a favor and request Anthony D to be the technician sent to your property.

It went good. One worker came out and it took about an hour, hour and a half. He left the area very clean. They're very responsive and they always do a good job.

The installation was performed in one day plus two hours the next day. Mark and Kevin from Carini did a great job of arriving on time both days, keeping us informed of how the job would go and then how it was going during the day. A crane was needed to remove the old AC unit and bring in the new air conditioner to the backyard. The crane operator was early, but Mark and Kevin were ready with their part of the job to send the old AC on its way. They are very professional and treated our home very well. They left it clean at the end of work both days. We are now enjoying a warm house and looking forward to a cool summer. The new system is much quieter then our old one.

I don't live here, but was in town, and they accommodated my schedule. The design specialist John came with the crew in the morning to get everything started. The crew was exceptional too and left everything clean and neat, and showed me how to use the new thermostat before they left. Great job!

Very Well - super professional and helpful.

They were quick, clean and professional. It has been 9 years and we have only had one small problem, which Carini came out to fix immediately. We have referred them several times and 2-3 of our friends have used them and have been equally pleased.

Didn't find out that service call would cost money until the tech arrived at home. After paying for service call never got quote for work, called a week later and they promised to send it but never received a quote.

They were great. They went out of their way to come on time, when I should have had them come in last minute. Didn't mind paying extra for great service, some people may not agree, but I do not mind. I appreciate the way they do business. They are an problem solver. They talk to you in an grown up way. I don't tolerate it any other way. They don't have sales staff to sit there and sell you stuff. The communication was great.

The technician was amazing. The issue was that I didn't understand the full scope of the coupon and sale so some of the work he started doing was by himself so he ended up trying to bill us for a large service charge-- 220 bucks for the work. The company was very accommodating. We went back and talked to them that we didn't understand that this was going beyond as there was no discussion on it. The guy who did the work was absolutely fantastic and very good at speaking when he was going along. We negotiated the price back down and it was very minimal at the end. They went like, "Oh we're sorry that you guys got stuck an extra bill." Very excellent. Very awesome. Very accommodating after we had that kind of hiccup. I'm okay with the price because he did a lot of good work. He taught us a lot. I wished they had just said, "So these are the only parts covered in your coupon. If you like I can do this work but it's gonna cost a little bit." They just seem way, way too much for $220. The cost of the refrigerant was really high and we had that brought down. The service department was very welcoming to discuss things. It was great that somebody was willing to teach a new homeowner techniques to prevent having problems in the future.

The service was okay. We had some trouble with the first appointment. Because the technician arrived very late. [01:06] he act for like ten minutes and then he just left, then we make another appointment. So the second appointment goes smoothly, but then I just receive a invoice of statement last week saying that I owe them $1700 and then I called yesterday speaking to the manager I said I just do [01:41] and the check ups to see if there is nothing else is wrong and we signed with a balance zero, how could I have a $1700 deal. The service is okay but probably I won't purchase that big deal next year.

They sent someone out, it was supposed to be $54 for the service call.The guy came out he was fairly nice. He took a look at the system, and took some temperature readings. He started talking to me, and said we were low on coolant. He said I would need 4 or 5 gallons or coolant. I ended up paying $243 plus $54 for everything.He said I had another problem with the system, and he needed to go back to the office and check and see if they have the part because it's so rare. That evening, he called and said they have the part, and he can come on Wednesday and can do the work for $800. I didn't know what to do, because it was so sudden and so expensive. I called up the company and spoke to the boss and told him that I wanted to wait on the service. I asked him to have the Tech call me up, and give me an itemized report for the newly needed service. I never heard from the company again. I spoke to my friend who works in the business, and he told me I was screwed over. He said I probably didn't even need the service. It's important for me to be able to access companies and information online where I can get someone that I can trust. I have a A/C that works, and I spent way too much on this. I picked the number one company on the list and that's what I got from them.

Carini was excellent-from sales to installation. We are enjoying our new A/C. The job required research, creativity and planning since it is 45 year old house that was never meant to have air conditioning. Their sales rep, Kurt, is experienced as an installer and was definitely more knowledgeable than anyone from the other companies we received estimates from. His game plan made the most sense and was reasonably priced. In fact he was the only one who did not try to sell me on a new furnace and explained that my current furnace should last several more years versus the competition which was insisting that I'd be better off buying a new furnace since my current furnace was about 14 years old (Kurt added that the current furnace could be repaired if it did start giving me problems). Kurt came the day of installation to show the lead technician, Mark, how he envisioned the install to go. That made me feel good to know that the installer wasn't going to be improvising. Mark led a crew that came on time, confirmed the plans would work, and did the installation. They overcame a lot of hurdles including a small furnace closet, limited space for a condenser on the side of the house and attic access challenges. The job was finished ahead of schedule. Mark explained the system to me, and the house was left very clean. I highly recommend Carini, Kurt, and Mark as the lead technician.

This was routine maintenance. The tech was very informative and gave me a lot of insight on our unit. It just took too long. He initially said it would take 45 minutes. It took twice that. I learned a lot, but my time is important to me.

Anthony did an outstanding job inspecting the systems. During his visit he made sure that I understood the test he was running and the outcome of the tests. Anthony is an excellent maintenance tech and I will be confident the any maintenance he performs is required and done correctly.

Everything went extremely well. My husband said they were very detailed, patient and friendly. He mentioned that the technician even went above and beyond and stayed a little longer to help get this one thing completely fixed. We are very happy.

Overall I thought the experience went well. The install looks very professional. There were some delays due to one of the condenser units having a logic board failure upon installation that took a little over a month to be rectified. It is my understanding that the part was ordered 3 times before they received the correct part. The technician assured me that they were giving the supplier the correct ordering information; I have no reason not to believe them. All and all I am enjoying my units now that it is summer time. One of the condenser units has a condensation pump in the attic that can be loud at times. I may call Carini back to check if they have a solution that would alleviate the noise coming from the attic.
