They made us wait in the parking lot for over an hour and then told us we should’ve gone home. And then told us it would be another hour and lied about where our dog was and told us she was getting her x-rays when she actually wasn’t. Then when we went to get her sutures removed, when I got home I noticed that they forgot one. I had to drive all the way back for them to remove the other suture and they were extremely rude to me. The manager Lisa is a *****. She gave me serious attitude and had no remorse for the fact that they messed up really bad. She then proceeded to tell me to just take my business somewhere else. This is only one of the dozens of experiences that I’ve had with them that are absolutely awful.

I always have to wait in there.

I don't think it was the doctor that saw my dog. I think it was an intern. He was smelling my dogs ears and it was just weird. Then when I got up front and got the bill I was like what?. There is always a long wait there. When I did see the doctor and he was better than the other guy in there but they're busy and they try to cut corners.

I love this vet clinic. They are AWESOME!!!! Kind. Caring. Attentive. And they care and respond to you personally. They truly car and make the vet experience as pleasant as it can be!!

They are reasonably prized and competent They don't try to up-sell you.

I am more than happy with Surfside Vets. We were referred by a friend, and we, in turn, have referred many others. They are affordable and capable - what a terrific combination! Their offices are clean, their staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Gary was the veterinarian of my last dog. He was very fair and very honest. Nowadays, some of the veterinarians are worst than hospital, but this guy is not. His pricing was very reasonable. He did not put on things like x-rays when x-ray's not needed. He is very compassionate, and he really cares for the animals. He has a really good bedside manner.

They are great. I go there quite often. They are very competent. They are very rescue friendly and good.

I MOVED TO THE OCEANSIDE AREA LAST YEAR AND FOUND SURFSIDE THRU THE INTERNET. MY DIABETIC DOG WAS MISDIAGNOSED MY ONE OF THE VETS IN THE OFFICE SO WE TRIED THE OTHER VET WHO WAS MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND a GOOD ALL AROUND PROVIDER. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS A DIFFERENT STORY, I SUSPECTED EARLY ON I WAS BEING OVER CHARGED BUT NEVER SAID ANYTHING JUST WROTE CHECKS BECAUSE I LIKED DR SEIBERT.
ON 09/28/2012 I SCHEDULE A PROCEDURE WITH THE OFFICE AFTER A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE VET AND A PRICE QUOTE OVER THE PHONE. I WAS GIVEN INSTRUCTION TO DROP OFF MY DOG AND THE PROCEDURE WOULD BE COMPLETED BY 10;30 AM. I DID NOT WANT MY SICK DOG TO WAIT IN A CAGE SO I ASKED TO BE CALLED AND BRING HER IN WHEN THE TECH WS IN ROUTE. THEY AGGREED , I WAS CALLED AND BROUGHT THE DOG IN ONLY TO WAIT AN ADDITION HOUR. THE DOG WAS FINALLY SEEN AT 1;30PM NOT 10;30 AM. I LEFT THE OFFICE HAVING WASTED MY WHOLE DAY TO BE TOLD THE PROCEDURE WAS 339 dollars NOT THE 225 dollars THAT WAS QUOTED. I FINALLY RESOLVE THE PAYMENT ISSUE AND RECIEVED A LETTER INFORMING ME TO TAKE MY DOG ELSEWHERE. FOR TREATMENT IN THE FUTURE. I WAS NEVER RUDEOF DISRESPECTFUL, I ONLY ASKED A FEW QUESTONS AND EXPRESSED MY DISAPPOINTMENT. THE CUSTOMER IS NEVER RIGHT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I have spent thousands caring for my sick dog and will gladly take my business elsewhere to spend thousands more. DO NOT GO HERE

Dr. Gary Sibert is professional, kind, knowledgable. He is the best vet ever. Facilities are clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. And that goes for the behind-the-scenes staff. When Dr. Sibert wasn't in we had to see Dr. Gary Haver and he is extremely good as well. The staff's phone manners are excellent.

Surfside Animal Hospital was clean, and the staff was very friendly.
