I was referred to Dr Fazilat's office in Mountain view, CA and overall everything, SO FAR, has been fine. The office staff seem to be organized and very nice to work with. My first visit was for upper lip laser and the RN, Tiffany did that procedure and all went well. I didnt know what to expect since it was my first time with hair removal. My second visit was for my first of 5 sessions of Fraxel....

My second visit was for my first of 5 sessions of Fraxel. Overall, that went went too, procedure was done by Tiffany again. She is very sweet, pleasant and professional. The finance people did give me a 25% military discount on all of my services, which is nice. There were a few things I would change if I was in charge of this office however, and they are: when you fill out the initial application there should be one more question added to this application and that is "do you have permanent makeup on your face" - this was not on the app and I didnt think to tell Tiffany that I recently had my eyebrows tatooed, so, when the Fraxel laser hit my eyebrows I about went thru the ceiling...at this point I told her and she seemed surprised and said she didnt notice them as being tatooed. so!! she should have known that going into the procedure, but all turned out ok. Secondly, before the Fraxel procedure you need to come in one hour earlier so that the numbing cream is able to sit on your face and numb the surface. They put you in a room, put the cream on, and close the door and leave you. No one comes in and asks how you are doing, offers water, I had to get up twice and go to the front desk once asking for water. Next suggestion is, I was never told that my face needed to be clean of makeup for this procedure so when I arrived I said I was wearing make up and the front desk person handed me a alcolhol swab to clean my face! I stood there looking at this swab and there was NO way I was going to put alcolhol on my face and I asked for something more appropriate....and she went out and brought back to me one of their pricey cleansing creams that the office sells, so all was fine. This might be nit-picking, but competition is rough these days, and this is an upscale cosmetic office and I paid out $5K+ for my procedures, so, I felt that I was justified in being very picky. SO! over all tho, my picky-ness aside, everything seems fine, the Doctor is an approachable, nice man and seems to be on the ball and I look forward to completing my sessions. :-) More comments as my sessions continue...
