The emergency room personnel was top-knotch. The quality of the food they offer is terrible. The lab facilities there have good hours and you usually don't have significant wait times if you go at the less busy times. The patient care while I was considered in-patient was adequate. I've also had normal scheduled procedures taken care of at this hospital.

Description of Work
They provided emergency care and I was a patient for a week.

The doctor did a great job, they used stitches instead of staples and I elected to have him use a robot for the mesh. They initially billed my insurance 90000.00 for my hernia surgery, my insurance came back at 45000.00 and the hospital came back at 56000.00. I'm still waiting on a final total.

Description of Work
I had an elective hernia surgery.

I was in a new wing so everything was fine. It was my first surgery in my life so I have nothing to compare it against or to, everything seemed to go fine. I had an aneurism and ended up having the A team work on me. It is a teaching hospital so 2 surgeons worked on me, one was the teacher and the other was the student learning to become a surgeon.

Description of Work
I had surgery at El Camino Hospital about 2 years ago.

The experience with them was very good. I came in about 9 o'clock with a broken foot. They were very good about the registration and admitting. They did a quick triage and put me in one of the cubicles in their fast-track section, which is for people that have non-life-threatening things, I guess. I was out within a little more than an hour, which I consider to be very good for an emergency room. ...
