She is very nice, pleasant manner. When I first saw her, she ordered tests and an uktrasound on my thyroid and duscussed treatment for Osteoporosis. However, I do not want to take oral meds or the shots. She was doing 6 month blood wirk and thyroid uktrasounds with biopsies. For some reason, which she did not explain, she is waiting a year now. He is a miracle worker. Darcy is his assistant and she is priceless. In fact everyone who works in his office are far superior than any other pulmonology office. He sent me to UCSF to get additional insight into this disease. I am not cured but I have not felt this good for 3 years!

I was in the hospital for the 3rd time. The emergency staff thought I was faking the low oxygen level. In fact, one of the nurses commented to another nurse, "watch this lady...she'll go to the bathroom and her oxygen drops...what is she doing in there." Dr. Tanaka visited me on my 3rd stay. He is like Sherlock Holmes of the medical profession. He actually read all of the charts and all of the previous history and was able to identify interstitial lung disease!

I see a few doctors at Gould so hard to give one rating. Very hard to get appointments with any Specialist. My PCP is a great guy, answers e-mails promptly. My GI doctor (I switched) is great, however, very hard to get an appt. they don't seem to cover each other and you are usually told to go to Urgent Care or the ER. Podiatrist us ok.
