Penny Roofing

I tried to get them to come out and when he came, he just looked at the spot and said that there wasn't any problem there. I have tried to get him to come out several times now and he just wont even pick up my call anymore. I had a friend call and then he picked up the phone. He came at 10 in the morning after saying he was going to be there at 12. I wasn't even home when he is saying he did the work. Now he is saying that I need to pay for the work that I can't even be sure that he even did. He then billed me for the 75 without me signing for anything.

It went fine. They showed up when they were supposed to. There were no problems.

The company arrived for the estimate as scheduled. They provided the lowest price of all the companies that came out to my house. They use the tar mop method and guarantee it for 10 years! The biggest way they saved me money was that they did not charge me for the removal of old roofing layers. The only thing I wish they would've done differently is that I wish they would've let me know of all the rat droppings in my attic while the roof was removed and checked to see if I wanted to take care of that before completing the roof. The roof itself is great first winter and no problems!

Estimate provided as promised per appointment. Work done shortly after agreed upon price, etc. Job took less than a week.

They are professional, skilled and knowledgeable in roofing. They showed extended courtesy. They tried to please the client at every stage of the project. They were always punctual and easily accesible by phone or in person.

They are superior! Their customer service was outstanding with the workers. They are long service employees and it's a family owned business. It was very impressive and the prices were competitive. We have a 10 year guartentee with our flat roof. Also, all of the workers were very polite and respectful!

The project was a little unwieldy (through fault of Penny Roofing) as it turned out that there were 4 and in some parts, five layers on my house. The roof had not been completely redone since the house was built (in 1939). Because of the amount of material that had to removed the project took three and half weeks. Lance came out and gave the estimate. I dealt with him entirely over the telephone. The estimate was exactly what he had said. My only gripes are that the guys didn't show up every day and they didn't rent a dumpster, carting everything away in their little pick up truck. These two things caused the project to last a lot longer than it really needed to. The guys cleaned up every day though, and the roof looks great. I got three estimates. One came in at 4k (far too low in my opinion), one at 11k and this one.

They were very good at what they did. They were prompt, professional, and neat. They did an overall good job. They were very good at answering my questions and explaining things to me. I would recommend.
