Jeff was on time and didn't complain about lugging his equipment up my steep driveway. He is very experienced and efficient: he topped off the coolant in my system and explained everything.

Had A/C routine annual checkup. Service man came when scheduled and completed work promptly. However, he did not remove leaves and other debris from the compressor enclosure. I called the company, they investigated, then phoned me stating that the company had slipped up by not cleaning up the compressor enclosure. Two days later the repair man returned and completed the job. I was impressed that the company readily admitted the error and promptly corrected it. I would definitely recommend this company.

George and his team did a wonderful job. His team was on time (actually early, but due to the early start time did not ring the bell until our agreed upon time as too not disturb us), professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. In addition, the bid from JW Heating and Air was the best value, in one case, $2,000 less than another Angie's List company. JW Heating and Air did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was complete, and testing to ensure everything was perfect. Job well done!

Jeff arrived right on time. Very professional and personable guy. If I need an AC person I would not hesitate to call JW Heating again.

The man arrived exactly on time, he was very positive and friendly, he put on foot booties so as not to dirty my house and completed all of his work after a thorough examination. I told him about a problem I had been having and he promised to check into it. He told me everything he was doing and then gave me a report at the end. He found no basis for my on again, off again problem. It was an absolute pleasure to use this company.

I used this company because they were having a special promotion for new customers and, after using them, I can say that they can have me now as a regular customer. Since I was paying the promotion price, I asked about the regular one and, based on my past costs for the same service, I found it to be a very fair. So, I'll be calling them back when it's time to check my heating system!

Jeff and his team are totally professional and courteous. One of the best customer service companies I've ever dealt with. To sum it up, they did a completely awesome job from top to bottom. There is no reason to call anybody else for the job!

The unit he put on was the right unit for the space. He took time in evaluating what kinda unit I needed. The owner did the evaluation himself as well as gave a follow up call to make sure everything was fine. I would highly recommend this company.

The experience I had with JW Heating & Air was fantastic from the initial estimate down to the final inspection. I had my entire heating and air conditioning unit removed and replaced with a new system. Jeff came to my house for the initial estimate with so much detail and took time to explain every aspect of the job as well as the pros and cons of all the different systems to choose from. I had 3 estimates and he was by far the best. Jeff''s employees showed up every day on time and were so clean you would never know they were there. They were great with my dogs and even finished the job a day early. Having the system replaced was an expensive project and I was very relieved to find a company that I was able to trust to do the job well and at a fair price. I love my new system and it works great! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for their service. A+++++++

It was okay. They said my air intake valve was too large for the system, and since it was going to cost more money to get it changed, I just let it stay the same way.

The work was done very well, and the design and placement of the units and ducts were very intelligent. They were cooperative with my plumber who had to move pipes to make way for a new vent in our kitchen. I seriously doubt it is possible to get this level of work for such a good price anywhere else. It is refreshing to work with honest people.

Extremely professional service. We were very pleased with Jeff's immediate response and detailed explanation of the options we had re: replacing our 3-ton A/C & Heating unit. They did an excellent job at juggling all the requirements put in place by our city (Beverly Hills) and completed the work on time and on budget. We would not hesitate to use them again. We HIGHLY recommend them.

You could really tell the difference after they performed the service. They showed up on time and did a great job. I would recomend them to others.

I had previously gotten quotes from other companies; JW Heating quoted the lowest price. They replaced all ducting and registers, removed the old asbestos ducting, installed the new, upgraded HVAC unit, included a whole-house air filter, and the total was $1000 less than a competitor's bid for a lower-grade HVAC unit alone! They exceeded my expectations in their professionalism, cleanliness and honesty. Their consultant, George, was professional and thorough. I cannot say enough good things about JW Heating & Air Conditioning.

It went great. I interviewed 3 contractors and Jeff was the only one who did everything right - his technicians are NATE certified, he did a load calculation and he inspected my ducting. One contractor didn't do anything, and the other didn't look at the ducting. In the end it was Jeff's professionalism that won him the contract. The install took approximately 6 hours. It looks great and works great too. Normally JW does RUUD installations, but they got me a Lennox per my request. I needed the Lennox simply because of the way it would look in my front patio - the RUUD takes up too much space. Jeff was flexible and able to get and install the Lennox, which is a plus. All the contractors were on time and professional. If you want quality work done well for a reasonable price I highly recommend JW Heating & Air.

Jeff was professional, experienced, informative and all around nice guy. He makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to explain things to you, cost and of course best possible recommendation for you and the house. He took his time to explain my options (& house options) and show you every possible installation as well as other services that will need to be done as well with the new installation. Things I didn't think of as an additional cost. We decided not to move forward with the house for more than one reason but will move forward with the right guy, Jeff, for our future house.

It was an excellent experience. Jeff examined my current equipment and provided the estimate. He was very thorough in his investigation. He explained the situation very thoroughly. He provided me with options in a way that I could fully understand all the implications and make the best decision for me. If you are impatient and do not want to listen to Jeff's explanation, it is really worth it to listen to him. He did a very good assessment of my current equipment. After the estimate, I had very high expectations and a high degree of confidence in Jeff and his company. They delivered. I obtained two other estimates and saw similar equipment at COSTCO. J&W's costs were comparable to COSTCO and very competitive with the other estimates. I hired J&W to do the work and it was definitely the right decision. Communication with Jeff and his team was excellent. They informed me of a couple of options as they proceeded with the installation and worked to implement my choices. The installation went exceptionally well. The team was punctual, clean, quite and respectful of my property. These guys were exceptional. I am extremely happy with the work that they did. I had been dreading this work. If I had known that the installation would go so well, I would have done this work a long time ago.

I was given an arrival time for my appt. from 8 AM to 10 AM. the service technician, Brian, arrived at 8:30, which was delayed only due to the parking situation in my neighborhood! Courteous from the start, Brian had on a company shirt which always looks professional. when he went to enter my home he took out "booties" so he wouldn't soil my floors, very professional. We looked at he problem from my unit and off to the roof we went. Brian pried the covers off and went to work. I left him to his work and went back to my unit. I didn't hear anything for a while which concerned me at first. I took some things to my basement and when I returned I felt heat in the house! fixed already? I felt relieved that things look like they were going well. Brian knocked on my door and explained the problem, a roll out switch tripping. I have heat again and I have found a good company that I will recommend highly. Thanks!

Jeff Willliams was very professional and explained all the details of the work which needed to be done. He answered all the questions that I had regarding the other estimates that I had received. He explained that he has his own workers. Some information that you as the consumer need to know is: A company may have insurance but they are allowed to sub-contract out to another company. The other company may or may not have insurance. Therefore, you the client will be liable for those workers that are sub-contracted out. That is the reason that it is best to go with JW since he has his own workers under his insurance and they are all highly trained. The other companies made us make copies of there insurance on our FAX machine. Jeff had a prepared folder with all necessary documents prepared for us.In addition, Jeff was very caring with my mother and considerate. All the work was done seamlessly. We are so lucky to have found JW and Angies's List.

The owner Jeff came on the initial call and was friendly and well prepared to present to me my options. With NO pressure whatsoever I was able to decide what would be the best product for our home. The work was scheduled and the crew showed up on time and like Jeff, very friendly and professional. They did the work quickly and neatly. Although the job was in very capable hands, Jeff stopped by to say hello and made sure everything was going well. A stop all the way from Burbank to Marina del Rey indicates the level of excellent service and care that this company adheres to. I am very pleased with not only the installation process but with the unit itself. It is quiet, and warms our house quickly and very efficiently. My son has allergies so the air filtration system that we purchased will help us breath and live healthier. As an added bonus I will now be saving money on my utility bills. To my delight and surprise when one of th guys had to go to Home Depot for some parts he asked me if I needed anything. I had been trying to get my husband to come with me to pick up some large heavy bags of soil but he was always too busy. Well I quickly said "yes" and they gladly picked up my soil and placed them right next to my planter boxes! In addition at no extra charge they moved a light to it's proper place in the attic to avoid inspection problems. I would give this company a huge thumbs up and recommend them to anyone in need of heating or air conditioning services.

I'm a procrastinator and put off getting a new heater/air conditioner until it was almost too late to qualify for the $1500 Federal tax credit. Like me, a lot of other customers were also trying to get their installations in by the end of 2010 and so J&W was very busy. But J&W managed to schedule me for December 27 at 7:30. I was a little nervous about that late date: would J&W be too busy and postpone the installation until the new year? Would it be postponed because the weather was bad that day? On December 27, at 7:30 sharp, my doorbell rang and there were the installers. Whew! I got away with procrastinating again! I was impressed with how well the installation was choreographed. A couple minutes after 7:30, the crane arrived. Using the crane, the installers then removed my old unit and placed it down on the sidewalk. Again, within minutes, a truck showed up to haul it away and another truck showed up with my brand new unit. A few hours later, the installation was done and my unit has functioned perfectly ever since. Kudos also to George Magnani, who came out to do the estimate and patiently answered all my questions about heating and air conditioning. I had estimates done by two other companies. One was by a reputable contractor, but was a lot more expensive than J&W's estimate. The other estimate was about the same price as J&W's, but that contractor had no track record. So I decided to go with J&W and, so far, it looks like I made the right decision.

This was the best example of professionalism combined with personal responsiveness. The work was done on time, and with great skill and care, while at the same time the company was very solicitous and forgiving of MY delays when I suffered many injuries in a traffic accident. Other people who have subsequently worked on my house have commented with admiration on the fantastic job that J W Heating & Air did. In other words, I highly recommend this company.

He arrived as scheduled, very professional and sent a resonable estimate within a few days. I later decided I would likely have it done next winter.

They did a really good job. We had a little happening with the air system, and they fixed it. They have been very professional. They came and explained everything to us. They were thorough, efficient, and professional. They have been reliable. Every time we call them, they are there. They make sure everything's okay. They are very thorough with their service. We have been with them for two years now. The price was good, for what we got.
