"Pirate Dumpsters has been a problem since I hired them. I called them on February 13 to rent a 10 yard lowboy dumpster. The gentleman I spoke with told me that the bin would be delivered the next day (on Wednesday, February 14) between 8am and 12pm. The bin was not delivered until 6:30pm that evening. I called the business on Tuesday, February 20 to inform them that the bin was ready for pick up. They had told me not to worry about it since Monday was a holiday and they would give me an extra day free. Once Thursday had passed. I started calling the business just about every other day for a couple weeks and would get no response, so I wrote an email and got no response there either. Finally I spoke to the company on Thursday, March 8th afternoon about the dumpster I had rented from them that had been sitting here for weeks past the rental time. I informed their staff that my neighbors were starting to complain about the length of time it was sitting there. Their staff member explained that one of their rigs was down so everything was backed up. The gentleman said that he would push me to the front of the queue for pick up and said that it should be picked up by end of that day, very latest on Friday AM or the rental would be free. I noticed that it hadn't been picked up by Friday afternoon. On Sunday, March 11 afternoon, I noticed the bin was gone. I went and checked my security camera and saw the truck arrive around 1:30PM. I was happy the bin was finally gone, however, I did notice that I was charged $300 for the bin on my bank account even though I was told the rental would be free since the pickup deadline was not made. I don't know why I was told one thing and something else happened. I hope they plan to rectify this mistake and reverse the $300 charge? Their staff has not been very responsive through this whole process!"
