You will be blown away by the competency, professionalism and kindness of their caregivers. We used their services for around-the-clock care for my elderly mother and have no doubt this allowed her to live longer and better. Initially we had the typical concerns about having someone live in her house--honesty, competency, work ethic, and ability to be a kind and interested companion, but all concerns were unfounded. We had two regular caregivers that were matched to her needs and occasional fill-ins (which was rare). They were all gems! The two regulars were like members of our family and we relied heavily on their observations and suggestions. They did everything?planning and taking my mom to medical appointments, communicating issues, and reporting back to us; making sure my mom followed orders and recommendations of her doctors; overseeing exercise routines given by PT; arranging outings to see friends or just get out of the house; finding activities to keep my mom active and engaged; helping with the daily living routine; cooking wonderful meals; keeping things tidy; and so much more! They were kind and made sure my mother?s dignity was always upheld. They treated her with respect and did not talk down to her. They were wonderful companions who understood what she liked and what she responded to. We knew my mom was safe, well cared for, and happy ... and that was a real source of comfort for us. The administrative staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had occasional issues with insurance, but got it worked out and back on track with their assistance. They made several surprise home visits to monitor the quality of their services and also checked in with us by phone on a fairly regular basis. We appreciated their oversight and attention to detail. We are a close-knit family and our mother was our rock. We took great time and effort to select a caregiving agency for her. We have no doubt we made the right choice in CarenetLA. They took impeccable care of our mom and in doing so, took great care of us too!

My mother had full-time caregivers from July of 2013, until March of 2014. There were 6 different caregivers, all incredible. (Some great, some far beyond.) We felt reassured as soon as we met each of them, knowing Mom was in such great hands. Loving companionship, and sensitive care. Hadas came out and conducted the inital interview. She is lovely and insightful. Kim, who handled the assignments and scheduling, checked in after each person began, and kept in touch to make sure things were going well. She has a warm, helpful manner. The only less than stellar experience was with the billing. We were dealing with insurance, and taking care of this end required much follow-up. While I am aware that the insurance company might be partially involved in this difficulty, some forms had not been fully completed, so had to be sent back to Carenet, filled out completely, and re-submitted. This required a fair amount of scrutiny on our part. However, once again, this is the only less comment that would be less than a "Rave Review." I am so thankful for Hadas, Kim, and the amazing women who cared for my mother. They helped make her last months happy ones.

My mother had a serious downturn in health, and needed 24/7 home-care. I found Carenet on Angie's List. It had the highest ratings, so I contacted them.

FANTASTIC! The caregiver that was assigned to us (ray) was as good as our full time caregiver who was on vacation. He followed directions to a T. He is an excellent cook and made some wonderful meals for my father. More importantly, he treated my father like a million dollars. We were very fortunate to work with this company and with Ray. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Carenet is great. I had used their services for a previous surgery several years prior, and so called them when I needed help again. Both times, the women who helped me were professional, friendly, helpful, and compassionate, and I felt in good hands. The thought of having a stranger come into one's home to help out is never entirely comfortable. However, my experience with Carenet is that their home health aides are skilled at making one comfortable with their presence.

I had surgery and needed transportation help on the day of the surgery, for companionship for several days post-surgery and for shopping and transportation to follow-up doctor's appointments over several weeks.

I was looking for in- home help for my mom who had been hospitalized. The company was helpful and gave me advice on how to convince my dad that my mom would need help at home. It was a difficult situation, but the company owner talked to me at length on how to approach this subject in a caring manner.
Description of Work
I called Carenet LA when I needed help finding in-home care for my mom. Although I did not utimately need their services, I found them to be helpful and professional. They returned my call in a timely manner, discussed my situation with me and gave me advice on how to get help for my mom. I was impressed and would call them again if I needed in-home care for my mom.

Mom and I met with Hadas, one of the owners to interview the company. Hadas is not only a very nice person, she is also a nurse that has specialized in Gerontology! She is compassionate and was very thorough in finding out my mothers specific needs. She also checked the house out to make sure safety measures were in place such as safety bars in the bathroom, shower... She also went over a thorough medical history on my mom. The companions that are hired are heavily screened and matched to their person. We had interviewed another company that paled in comparison to the services Carenet LA provides! Living out of state, I have been worried about my mom being taken advantage of like so many elderly people are. I have to say, I was cynical about leaving my mothers well being in the hands of relative strangers. It has only been a few weeks that we have been using this service but so far, so good. Calls are returned promptly and they really bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of their individual clients. They have even recently installed a medic alert system in my moms house in the event something should happen when no one is there. She can basically push a button and get help from paramedics, police... The lady that is caring for my mom is really pleasant and cooks good meals for my mom as she has lost so much weight. Like anything else new, there is a period of adjustment to be expected as people are getting to know eachother and the clients particular needs, likes and dislikes. These folks are compassionate. So far from Hadas, to her staff, and the caretaker, I feel as if these people treat us like they would family. So far we have not been billed so I couldn't answer that question. I will continue to post updates as to the services as I think it is really important for the public to know about places like Carenet LA that really seem to be on the ball. So far, I am happy to report that all is going well with this company. If you are out there looking for a service such as this for someone you love, do yourself a favor and give them a call for a meeting. Kind Regards & Appreciation, CAM

My Mom lives in Los Angeles. I flew in from Colorado and felt she needed some additional help in her home as she is 80 years old. Transportation to and from appointments, some cooking, walks.... were the types of things we were looking for. A companion.

It went very well.
Description of Work
We needed care for our elderly relative. CarenetLA's R.N. came out to evaluate the situation and then provided several caregivers to choose from. The caregivers helped feed and bathe them and also drove to doctor's appointments. They were very compassionate and responsible.

My experience with them has been excellent. The caregivers are very conscientious and work well with my mom. My mom is 88, and she just returned home from over a 100 days at a rehab facility. She needs lots of help at home. I was not in California, but I did the research in LA because that is where my mom lives. I was down in LA for the first week and a half that she was home to interact with the caregivers and make sure everything was going great. They are helping her do her exercises regularly. She had hip replacements for both hips. They do cooking for her. They help her get rest and help with getting her around. She is in a wheelchair at the moment, so they are helping her in all those ways. I have had good interaction with one of the co owners of the company who is very responsive. If I send her email or call her, she comes out. During the first week my mom got home, she actually made a home site visit to make sure everything was going well. They follow through with field supervisor visits, but I am not sure how often that happens. They gave us a folder containing lots of helpful information like how to get transportation for people who are wheelchair bound and things like that. They are doing a really great job, and so far we are very pleased with them. If one of the caregivers has to do something else, they have a substitute. It was only one day that that happened, but they make sure that my mom is covered. The company also says that if something doesn’t work out with the caregiver they will provide a different one, so basically we get to interview and find one that works for us. When they are changing shifts on Friday nights, the one who is there waits until the other one comes for the weekend. They trade notes with each other too, so that way they know what is going on. I will continue to use their services in the future.

We have been using the services of CarenetLA continuously for 4 weeks. We have a live-in fulltime caregiver for my mom. They are there everyday for 24 hours. They provide a team of 2. One person comes Monday to Friday, and the other comes on the weekends.

The day after our 'evaluation', a caregiver was sent to our home. She is fantastic, very upbeat and caring and competent, and very enthusiastic about her job. She seems to like working for us, and she is a real asset in our home.
Description of Work
I needed someone quickly, because I had a family member who was a serious fall risk. At the same time, I wanted someone who would reassure me that they could take good care of this person. The owner of the care company came out and got to know our needs and the layout of our home. She asked a lot of questions and took all the time necessary to do this, and that was very reassuring.

From start to current time this company has impressed us as a firm that truly places themselves in your shoes and treats their clients as family. This makes a world of difference and has greatly reduced our stress level knowing that someone both caring and extremely competent is taking care of Mom.
Description of Work
CareNet LA has provided in-home caregiver services for our 94 year old Mom for the past two months now (since Feb. 14th). They customized the services to Mom's specific needs. This care is ongoing as of this date (April 13th) and may continue for some time. The caregiver is extremely good and matched Mom's personality and needs to a tea. The caregiver is very pro-active and alerts the family if she feels there is any even slight change in Mom's medical condition or tells us if there is some item that Mom needs to make Mom more comfortable. We can't praise this company or the caregiver enough.
