Earl Dodson of American Standard Flooring removed our carpet, installed new baseboards, and refinished our parquet floor so that it glows like a hotel ballroom dance floor. He worked every day including Saturday and Sunday till the job was done. He is extremely meticulous and knowledgeable about all types of woods and the refinishing process. We are thrilled with the results! He definitely deserves a 5-star rating and I highly recommend him to anyone who cares about their wood floors!

Earl is the absolute best, I�m so glad we found him for this project. 1962 era Huntington Beach house with original wood floors that looked like crap. Earl spent a full week carefully restoring them to a wonderful natural finish. He is a true craftsman, and really knows a lot about wood, and what�s needed depending on the situation. He�s rightly proud of the work he does, and that shows in the attention he pays to every detail. Earl did a fantastic job, and he�s a nice guy too!

My floors were in pretty bad shape, mostly from water damage. It is a tiled parquet and I did have some new leftover tiles to use for the repair. It was also a natural finish to start with so it did not hold up well to a lot of traffic. Earl repaired the bad spots using ceramic tile for under the fridge (per my request). He then came in with his "dustless" equipment and proceded to do a beautiful job on my floors. He was very nice and considerate as well. I never had a problem getting a hold of him. The job wasn't tiny. It took about 2weeks to complete. I would recommend Earl to anyone. Thanks Earl.

Our hardwood floors look great. Earl's years of experience in working with hardwood floors really shows. He was able to sand and stain our existing floors, match our new floor to the existing floor, and make the transition so perfect, we can't tell where the old floor ends and the new floor begins. Earl is great! He went above and beyond with his service doing extra clean up and repairs and working with me long distance. He even coaching me on how to take care of my floors to keep them looking fabulous. I have received many compliments on how great they look - - not just refinished but 'like new' per one friend!
