She came home from the kennel looking like a bag of bones. Her weight decreased from 44 pounds to 39 pounds in less than a week. We knew she was terribly ill. We rushed her to Urgent Care to find out she was severely dehydrated and had Bloat. Bloat is a condition when a dog's stomach twists. It is a life or death situation. She needed immedite surgery, but she was so severely dehyrated that IV fluids needed to be adminstered before the surgery could be begin. The surgery finally started around 2:00am. The Urgent Care was very understanding and professional in dealing with me and my sick dog. I certainly credit them for saving my dog's life. I cannot give enough credit to the fabulous surgeon that performed the surgery. This is a class A facility and we are lucky to have them in the North County. They are available all hours of the day to care for your pet!

It went well. They were very busy but still very quick in attending to our dog. Took about an hour total, staff was professional (only interacted with the assistant, did not meet veterinarian)
Description of Work
Our dog injured himself while at the dog park, and started bleeding from the corner of his eye. We went to the closest emergency animal clinic to have his eye checked out to make sure there was no damage.

At least once a year our little cairn terrier gets a foxtail in his ear and we always seen to discover it after his regular vet is closed. Because he is so feisty and has a low pain tolerance, he must be sedated for the vet to even get near his ear so this makes it more expensive to take care of. I still feel the price is reasonable considering that it is after hours. The vets follow up with a phone call several days later to find out how your animal is doing. They will even contact your regular vet if needed. We took our 18 year old dog to this vet to be put down when she let us know it was time and I was 3 in the morning. They were very kind and understanding. We have used this vet for emergencies for many years and it is very reassuring to know they are there when you need them. If you live in the Escondido area, they are very easy to find and are open nights and on weekends when most other vets are closed.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE COMPASSION AND EXPERTISE OF THESE DOCTORS. PARTICULARLY DRS. NISSAN AND SIEBOLD. THE TECHNICIANS WERE ESPECIALLY GOOD AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WERE ABLE TO CALL THE RIGHT SHOTS AND SAVED MY CAT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE EVEN IF YOU HAD TO DRIVE A LITTLE TO GET THERE.
