Toby and Abe did an excellent job in methodically troubleshooting the problem and then putting in place a safe temporary workaround August 22nd. They gave us an estimate for the final fix and we arranged that it would be done September 29th. They came back on that day, and did the work. They were easy people to work with, pleasant to talk to and I would be glad to work with them again. Some specifics on their professionalism: --They wrote their estimates up on their notepad and emailed them, it was a good and easy way to track the paperwork. --They responded promptly to email questions --They came when they said they would come. --Each day they came, they put down tarps to protect the floors as they went in and out to the breaker box. They cleaned up after the job, leaving everything looking good. Even the temporary fix the first day looked good. It's been more than a month now since the job was done, and it's clear they did a dependable, professional fix. Looking at what I've written so far, it really doesn't convey how good these guys were to work with. They were good at what they did, cared that they did a good fix that would serve our needs and I felt comfortable having them in my home.

The installation went absolutely flawless. Abe and Troy were on time, professional and fun to work with. When installing the remote switch their suggested location was perfect, and, at the same time, they corrected a flaw in our original switch (the fan and light had been switched in the wiring), along with labeling the final result. Awesome. We will definitely use Got Watts Electric again.

Jeremy came back and grounded my house quickly and expertly by sinking a copper post I have had other electrical work done, but no other electrician had ever discovered it. I purchased a deal for a whole house electrical review. I was happy with the service I received from Jeremy at Got Watts. He arrived on time and spent well over the expected amount of time reviewing the electrical throughout the house. The primary reason we wanted the inspection is that we has purchased a older home and I wanted to make sure it was okay. Surprisingly the house wiring was great, it was the wiring done recently during a remodel that was not only not to code but also very dangerous. We set up an appointment to get the items fixed, he came out with another guy and they spent a good part of a day addressing the problems and also identified other issues that we had fixed. He found problems with the wiring in the box and from the remodel and spent time explaining the basics of how the electrical works and what to look out for. The only "complaint" is that when we had another electrician come in to review and fix the issues Jeremy found (this was due to my contractor wanting to deal with the problems directly, not because we didn't like Jeremy) they pointed out that one fix that was done didn't use the correct wire. He was professional and took the time to to a good job and clean up after, which is important to us.

He checked the sockets where we were having trouble and replaced the broken one. He explained that the "loose ground wire" on the smoke alarm is actually an antenna. He gave us plenty of information about changes we have been considering to our dimmer light switches and kitchen pot lights. I hope he is available when we finally go ahead with these projects.

I love everything about my newly installed recessed lights from start to finish. Jeremy first came and checked out what the job would entail. He is a very pleasant and professional person. Abe then came in and started the installations. They consulted with me about details about the height of a chandelier, and it turned out to look perfect. The other lights were installed- Abe was also pleasant and professional, and did a very good job of working steadily and finishing a bit early. I would use Got Watts again, without question. This is the second time that I have used them.

He was prompt and supplied tips and advice regarding electrical issues. He also looked at other wiring jobs at another property and gave bids. Overall he was professional, friendly and fair.

Jeremy was great, his guy arrived right on time and started setting up after I went over the scope of the work. Jeremy suggested some great cost savers for getting the job done and let me use some of the credit for the deal towards moving the chandelier. Jeremy was really great at explaining any issues that might come up before starting so I knew exactly what to expect. Abe performed the work and did everything in one day which was I wasn't sure if they could because I had added several things to the project. If I have any other electrical work, I will definitely go with Got Watts again.

Jeremy showed up on time and fully prepared to troubleshoot issues with my circuit panel. 2 circuit breakers has popped one for the dryer and another that went who knows where (previous electrician wasn't the best at labeling circuits). Jeremy found that the previous electrician had run a 40 amp circuit to a 30 amp dryer and we had had a small fire in the plug box when the circuit blew. Jeremy gave me a fair and reasonable quote in writing on the spot and proceeded to replace the circuit, plug, plug box as well as run a new line to the circuit box. To run the new line he had to remove drywall. Jeremy removed the minimum drywall to verify that all of the necessary was wiring was being replaced and upgraded. He also did an excellent job cleaning up. The next job was to trouble shoot the other blown circuit. Again I was given a quote in writing and we proceeded with the job. After a full day of searching my entire crawlspace and attic he determined the cause of the problem and gave me a quote to fix it. All in all I received exemplary work from Got Watts Electric and will call them again for any other electrical work that I need. I HIGHLY recommend Got Watts Electric for any and all electrical needs that you may have.

Jeremy is extremely professional, prompt and honest. His prices are very reasonable. He called me the day before to confirm the appointment and time. He was very friendly and exceptionally clean (he was going to put on shoe protectors before he came in the house-not necessary for me but very considerate!). He wiped up the counter after he worked, put his bag on a clean area for outside work as to not track dirt/dust into inside. He pointed out an illegal outlet but he was not alarming or trying to up-sell, just pointed it out and told me he could give me an estimate if I was interested in replacing it in the future. Their crew of two arrived on scene as promised. They installed both indoor and outdoor outlets, and did so in a professional manner, keeping me informed every step of the way. They made sure I was completely satisfied with their work before creating an invoice, and their fee was easy on the pocketbook. Bottom line: I couldn't have asked for a better contractor.

I purchased a Big Deal for $69 electrical service call plus $100 credit toward service. When we wrote them about setting up the appointment, and they wrote asking about what services we needed done and they responded they are not sure how this deal was purchased, but they cannot service us do to location.
