Sara's Estate Sales LLC

My mother passed away in Arizona in September 2018. Myself and my 3 siblings flew from Ohio to Arizona after her death. Based on reviews from the Better Business Bureau and Yelp we decided to contact Saras Estates to assist us with liquidating my mothers home. We met with Ken Eckstein in September when we were in Arizona. We hired Saras Estate to liquidate my mothers home. Since we all lived in Ohio we knew we could not do this. The estate sale took place November 1-3, 2018. In the contract we signed we were supposed to be sent a written summary of sale results within 5 business days. It is April 16, 2019 and I am still waiting for this written summary. I sent emails and attempted to call with no response and eventually I contacted the estate attorney to help me get answers. I feel that with me living in Ohio and unable to monitor the progress of the sale I was taken advantage of. I would not recommend this company to anyone unable to monitor the progress of the estate sale. They gave my attorney a summary of what was sold which was 6 items and 2 items given to charity. My mother passed away in the house and they said they had to throw away everything. I had pictures of of items in her house and Ken had sent me pictures of items that were still in the house and online pictures of what they were selling. Most of these items are not accounted for. It is very difficult to deal with the death of a parent but this was devastating to our family. I can only do reviews to inform potential clients from making the same mistake we made.
