It went very well. The staff was very friendly and let me watch the hole time. They made suggestions about colours the stamping process and the overall patio. I had some questions after the job was complete and they came out immediately to make sure i was satisfied. this is a very good company to work with!

They were on time. Finished on budget. Protected bushes and house. Dug out tree root that was in the way. Very happy with finished product.

Zona Decorative Concrete turned the two spaces on the sides of my home from nearly unusable (certainly annoying) gravel to luxurious slate-patterned concrete that is so much more than just sidewalks. The curves, color, and texture make me want to further develop this area into a park-like existence, for serenity time. The drains and utility conduits that were installed before the pour have created a homeowner's peace of mind like no other. From the first phonecall to the last handshake, I knew that Zona was the right choice. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade their home or business.

MAC HICKS was the first contractor to call back after leaving messages on three different companies. Mac was the second to give a bid. Zona was a little higher priced than the other bidders , however he offered higher quality and he could start and finish sooner than the others. I was more than happy with all the work done.

The reason I picked Zona from a short list of candidates was that they were the only ones to answer the phone. In fact, Mac answered every time I called, and was helpful with answering my questions and prompt with follow up for what he couldn't answer immediately. He showed up when he said he would, He and his crew worked efficiently and to my specifications. I have no experience in this area, so I can't speak in detail to the quality, but watching the process it appeared to be what I expected, and the final work looks clean and neat and exactly what I wanted. They did everything from calling Blue Stake to the site prep to cleanup. And they were nice to my dog. I'd done some brief checking of prices, and the price for this work appeared to be in line with what I expected, neither significantly above nor below.

Called to see what could be done with the front entry way because every time it rained the outside entryway would flood. The owner, Mac, worked within or ideas and within our budget. The crew arrived on-time and cut out the existing slab and got the area prepped for the concrete to be poured the next day. The area was left clean and all the old concrete was hauled away. The next morning the crew arrived on-time and finished up the area before the concrete was poured. Within 3 - 4 hours we had a brand new entry way. It really transformed the front of the house and gave it a whole different feel. They also replaced the support beam for me for a small nominal fee. Mac and the crew were professional, polite and completed the job on-time. Already planning on the next job I want them to do for me in the backyard. Would definitely recommend Zona Concrete and Construction for any job big or small.

MAC IS VERY PUNCTUAL. HE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE CEMENT TRUCK TO BE THERE AT A CERTAIN TIME. HE ARRIVED EARLY ENOUGH TO PREPARE THE AREA AND GET THE FORMS IN PLACE FOR THE CONCRETE. THE APRONS WERE POURED AND HE WAS DONE WITH THE JOB IN ABOUT 1 HOUR. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL FEES OR HIDDEN CHARGES. i WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE MAC AGAIN FOR OTHER CONCRETE JOBS AT MY HOME IN TUCSON.

Zona did an outstanding job on our new concrete sidewalk and patio. Mac really paid attention to site preparation, and all the details. He's a much better contractor than others that we've hired. Poured a concrete slab for pottery kilns (shich weigh quite a bit) all work done professionally, complete clean up and Mack is easy to work with and very willing to explain and answer any questions regarding the job.

Finding contractors willing to come to our home 20 miles outside Tucson is difficult. Mac responded promptly. Arrived when scheduled, Finished job as quoted. Good cleanup. Good job.

Mac was proactive in providing me a quote for our basketball court. Mac came out to see our location and made recommendations based on our site. It was important to us to have a court that would be resistant to cracks, yet still provide a surface where basketballs can be bounced with no impact from joints. Mac gave us a quote that took into account our location, site prep, finish, time and cost. The project was completed on schedule, the work site was always clean, the people working on the project were friendly, worked diligently and were professional. This is one of the easiest projects I've done from quote to finish. The court looks great and kids love it!

Have called 3 times and emailed Zona Decorative Concrete and Construction in the past 2 weeks and have not received any contact back. I guess business is so good that they can pick and choose whom they decide to call back. At this point, if they would return our initial inquiry(s), how could we trust their performance and timeliness? Beware.

Mac and his team were great to work with, very professional and personable. They arrived a little late but their gps steered them in the wrong direction, but they were late by only 10 minutes or so. Once they started I never saw them take a break and considering it was approaching 100 degrees outside I was impressed. When the spa arrived and it was placed on the slab it fit perfectly! The pad was square and level. I have to say I was a little nervous at first but had nothing to worry about. If you need concrete work done, you have to hire Mac. I will from now on. It was a great experience and Mac delivered what he promised and more.

He did an excellent job. He’s a nice guy. He got some concrete on my mailbox. He took it off and he repainted my mailbox. When he came he did it well. I asked him to do something special and he did. I'd use him again.

My husband and I live off of a high traffic street near the UA. We had issue with vehicles turning around in our front yard. The neighborhood is relatively old, and the curbing had not been completed by the city. We looked on Angie's list for a contractor who would perform smaller jobs. Mac Hicks of Zona Decorative Concrete had a few good recommendations. We contacted him and he came out the same day. He and my husband walked around and looked at the curbing we wanted, we had an estimate within 3 working days. Mac told us that he would have the work done within 3 days, and he finished on time. His company staked the job with yellow flags while the crew was working. Since the curbing was along the street, this was important for safety. Everything was very neat and tidy during the short time they were here. The crew cleaned up each day and kept the debris off the road. The job Zona Decorative Concrete did for us was perfect. When we came home from work on Wednesday night, all the job waste was gone, the ground around the curbing had been re-graded and the driveway had been swept off. Other than having the new curbing put in, we never would have known the crew was there. The curbing looks fantastic and matches the city curbing perfectly. We couldn't be happier. Mac is very personable. He's friendly and has a good understanding of what his customer wants. He didn't try to persuade us to do anything we didn't want to do. He listened and performed the work we requested. His bid matched up with what we paid in the end. There were no surprise fees or last minute additions to the bill. Mac does a great job. We are so pleased with Mac's work, we have asked him to give us an estimate to re-finish our driveway.

He laid concrete steps with an iron handle. He was very good. He is very competent, so when I asked him to do a few extra things he didn't hesitate and had no problems doing it. He knows a lot about concrete and I would recommend him highly.
