A to Z Appliance Repair

I contacted A to Z appliance repair as the provider my warranty company had selected couldn't come out for 10-14 days. Oren Lewis came out and he walked me through everything he was doing to diagnose the problem as to why my refrigerator wasn't working. He also waited patiently while the warranty company kept us on hold so he could explain the issue to them. Oren was very professional and I would contact him in the future if I have any appliance repair needs.

He was on time, talked me through possible issues, ran tests and had parts to fix it. He was in and out in probably a half hour and fridge has been running great since. Had a follow up call on another appliance where he gave me some advice. Always very helpful, great experience.

Leonard repaired our refrigerator, which involved moving it out from the wall. He left a large scratch in our hardwood floors. He additionally forgot to re-connect our ice-maker before leaving. Although I understand that accidents happen, it was his lack-of reaction to the large scratch that was extremely disappointing and would prevent me from ever recommending him. His reaction was, "I'm sorry, but these things happen." And that was it. I would have preferred I'm so sorry, what can I do to make it right? After I pushed back, he offered to write off the costs of his repair but said he wouldn't warranty the work. After further pushback, he said he would also warranty the work. I recommend finding someone who is more careful.

Leonard was professional, good communicating and timely. He assessed our situation, left to get a part and came back within the hour to replace. We would use his services again.

Leonard was very honest with me. He told me that based upon my model and the video that I sent him (very loud spinning on a front load washer), that it would not be worth my money to have him repair it or to even do a service call. I needed to replace it. He spent much time with me on the phone explaining what was wrong and what was involved to repair it. I did replace my washer and I would not hesitate to contact him in the future if I needed any appliance repair.

It was wonderful. Perfect. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

Provider was great. I contacted the provider after seeing the Angie's List deal. The provider walked me through his typical hourly cost and the "probable" cost if I purchased the deal. I purchased the deal for $49; parts were another $55 - resulting in a total of $104. Total cost was better than the "diagnostic" fee that most providers charge. The company was great to work with and I would definitely use them again. Prompt, courteous and does an excellent great. Great value for the price.

Leonard is a super nice guy. Fortunately we were able to fix the problem before the appointment date. I called Leonard to cancel and he was very gracious. I will use him in the future for any applicance repair needs.

When I first spoke to Leonard (owner) he set an appointment with me for the next day, and even worked me in late due to my own work schedule. Very accommodating. He made sure to get the details of my appliances so that he would have the correct parts with him, which I appreciated. Not only is that efficient, it also saves me a second service call. He knew exactly what was needed in one of my two issues, and gave me a quote over the phone. When he looked at my second issue, it was a very simple fix in my washing machine, and he showed my husband and I how to take it apart and resolve it ourselves if it ever happened again. When he left, his bill was exactly what he quoted me for the freezer, and he hadn't even charged me for looking at the washing machine! Color me impressed! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for integrity. I can safely say that if I ever need appliance repair in the future, he will be my first and only call.

He was very nice and showed me where the button was in case I would ever have to reset it again. Also showed me the process of relighting pilot light. Most importantly he didn't make me feel like an idiot for not knowing anything about the process. Great job!

He was great. It seems to always work correctly when he is here.

4 JAN 15 @ 11pm. Leak in water line to refrigerator, with water leaking all over the floor. Had to turn the water off to the entire house to stop the leak. We did massive clean up until 1230am. As this was a SUN night, too late to get service. Called A to Z first thing Monday morning. Informed them of my problem. They asked make, model and size of refrigerator. After giving the info, was told it sounded like it could be several different parts. Was told he would get some parts from the warehouse and be out in about one hours. Oren arrived here in 50 minutes, with parts and ready to go. Had the refrigerator pulled out, having to do the clean up the night before. Troubleshot the problem, determined the broken part, and replace same. He was extremely professional, arrived before stated time, completed the work in a very timely manner. Tested the repair, and put the refrigerator back together, cleaned up and helped push the big box back in position. Would ABSOLUTELY use them again for my appliance repairs, when needed. Very nice to know there are still some companies out there that care about their work and the services performed. Oren give us VERY good service, especially knowing the entire house water had to be turned off until repairs could be made. Cost of services was VERY reasonable, especially considering we asked for service as soon as possible.

The person that I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable. While I do feel the cost was kind of high (I tend to be cheap) and I was a little apprehensive, I believe that without question the problem was fixed with the highest quality. I do feel like I got what I paid for and the problem was completely resolved. I would definitely use this company again and I highly recommend them.

I found A to Z on Angie's list. I called Leonard Tuesday afternoon. With the model number and explination of the leaking, Leonard was able to provide me a quote. He also provided me the price for the 2 parts which could need replacing. He arrived at 11:30, Wednesday 31 Dec within 1/2 hr of the 11-1 window.. He confirmed what was required and made the repairs in a timely manner. NO MORE LEAKS. Leonard was also $85 less than a Sears quotation. Definately will have Leonard fix the next appliance needing repair.

Leonard messaged me immediately via Angie's List after I contacted him, and pre-diagnosed what he thought might be wrong. When he came to the house, he did give me a window of time of 4:30-6 and arrived at 5:50 so that's why I gave B for punctuality. I get the feeling that he would have been there earlier if he could because he seems to really care about doing the right thing for his customers. He fixed the washer and then cleaned all the lint out of my dryer lint trap (the nasty stuff below the lint trap that I didn't even know was there) and fixed the broken dial, then gave me an estimate for fixing the timer and installing a heat seal for the door. I was very happy with the visit and will be calling him to fix the dryer as well.

Responded quickly. Diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. Was prompt, courteousand professional.

Leonard was cordial, and very professional about the repair work he performed. He responded very quickly to our needs and repaired three different appliances by three different manufacturers.

Left a message on their website after hours one evening, and got a phone call from owner, Leonard Mullen first thing next morning, and despite having a busy schedule, he worked me in the same day. Very friendly and professional service. I am a happy customer!

Leonard came out the same day I called 04/07/2014 and tested my oven and needed to order a part. He called this morning 4/09/2014 and came back out put the part in and tested the oven function and made sure it was running correctly! Leonard was very pleasant and knew what he was doing! I would recommend him to family and friends in need of appliance repair and I will definitely use him again when I have an appliance on the fritz!!!

He came promptly and fixed what I needed each time. He is always willing to help and acts promptly to solve the problems I was having each time.

Said it would cost more than it was worth. Very reasonable price for checking it out.

I arrived home from the day before Thanksgiving to an oven that did not work. He came to the house that evening and repaired the oven. I couldn't believe I got someone to come to the house! I would have paid just about anything his asked but it was $85.00. Thank you A to Z and Angie's List!!!!!!!!!!!!

Installed a microwave that we had to do a little extra on the installation but kept the same price. Very Profesional

very honest..diagnosed the problem one way. After ordering the part this contractor found a much simpler fix. Her was very honest.. almost apologetic that he did not come up with the simple fix first. No extra charge for coming out again. Did not have to pay for the part. I will definately go back to this contractor.
