My dog died and I took him into him and he took care of the burial and all that stuff. I was very pleased. They were very accommodating and very empathetic. I was very pleased in the way they took care of me.

I checked in. A medical assistant got some of the information for my dog. The veterinarian came in next to perform his wellness check. He went over behavioral issues and how to train my dog. Recommended a deep cleaning due to poor eating habits. After he was done I went out and paid for the visit, got a quote for cleaning, and they vaccinated my dog. The process was simple and the facility was clean.

I have been back 2 times and each has been a very good experience. I found Moon Valley Veterinary Clinic on Angies List, saw that they had very good ratings, gave them a try and have not been disappointed. I purchased a puppy package which covers all of his checkups and vaccinations

Excellent! At first we had to reschedule because the dog was in heat and we weren't aware that she couldn't be in that condition and have surgery. The veterinarian explained what was going to happen when he did get the opportunity to perform certain surgical proceedures on the dog at a later date. The office staff accommodated our needs with a new date and time. We dropped the dog off early in the morning the day of her surgery and waited for the staff to call us with updates and biopsy results. When the dog was ready to be picked up the office staff called and were ready with home care instructions and the appropriate diet and medications to get her through the healing period. They also scheduled the followup appointments. What really impressed me was the veterinarian called to see how the dog was doing several times over the next week and to report on the biopsy results as soon as they were available. He really cares about the animals he services as well as the pet owners.

Xrays, tooth extraction and teeth cleaning, biopsy of tissue from chest and abdominal area, blood-work, anethesia, surgery, vitals monitoring, recovery, communication with pet owner regarding pet condition before, during and post surgery. Received instructions on home care and expectations post surgery and followup procedures when sutures were removed.

He had a lot of stuff done. I love them because they are my veterinary clinic. Dr. Schure is the doctor I go to and he is wonderful. My dog loves him and he handles the dogs well. He's very caring and I'm very comfortable with the decisions he's made. Every year he has allergies so we took him in and he got his annual charts. They are very reasonable.

We just moved to Phoenix and were looking for a new Vet in the area and found this place. We went here for our Vizsla's annual check up & to purchase her new flea medication. Our experience there was overall very good. The front desk staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and very professional. Generally the vet we saw was friendly to both me and shelby and very knowledgeable about the area, which was helpful, especially since we were new. The parts that were a little discouraging were that we had a laprascopic spay done on our dog earlier this year and he seemed to be fairly critical of the procedure, saying he didn't see a point in paying so much more for a surgery he didn't see any benefit over the traditional spay. I honestly thought it was a bit rude for him to be so critical and closed minded about a procedure that we already had done for our dog & couldn't do anything about now (not to mention its done by most vets where we moved from & he admittedly doesn't know anything about the procedure, yet was critical). The other item that was disappointed about is very minor, but it is that they don't offer an oral flea medication, only topical. Our dog hates the topical (and SO DO WE!!), so we probably won't go through them anymore for it.

Dr Shure and Dr Cook are some of the top vets in the city. We show Golden Retrievers and our dogs come from all over and travel frequently. As a result they sometimes catch some funky things - more than once the extremely thorough and competent care provided by Dr Shure and Dr Cook have caught things that would be missed by run of the mill testing and exams. They run complete labs and use excellent providers ensuring accurate and complete results. They have also saved two of our dogs lives by catching early a case of parvo and an instance where a young dog swallowed a sock she stole. Many of our Golden Retriever club members use Lookout Mtn vets as well because of the skill and high quality care of Dr Shure and Dr Cook. More than that, when we take our dogs to the myriad veterinary specialists our dogs see to get health clearances, etc... e.g. cardiologists, opthamologists, etc.., and the specialists find out who are regular vets are, they always comment that Dr Cook and Dr Shure are some of the best vets in the area. Even though we now live in different neighborhood, we are happy to trek over to see them because of the material difference in skill and expertise.

My overall experience was very good. Other than the wait in the waiting room, I highly recommend Dr. Jeff Cook. He is a very thorough vet and is not a know-it-all. He did not intimidate me at all. He talks to my previous vet to make sure he has a complete history of my dogs problem. I really like that. We have visited several times to get blood protein levels checked. My dog is quite ill with super low protein levels, but Dr. Cook is very patient and seems genuinely concerned and determined to get her levels back to normal. He seems sincere and really cares about Duchess. She had diarhea in there one day, and they cleaned it all up and were so nice. The vet techs are really nice also.

These folks love animals and they treat their clients very well - animals and people. They are all caring, knowledgeable, pleasant, professional folks. They have worked together for a long time and have long standing clients such as my self. You won't go wrong by bringing your pet here. They are top knotch. The Doc's take a very conservative approach which is beneficial to the animal and your wallet.

No work was performed because this office keeps the clients drivers license or social security number on file in the front lobby. This makes your personal information available to anyone. This is especially dangerous considering the front office is within feet of the front door. This is totally unacceptable.

DR. JEFF COOK AND HIS STAFF WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. THEY WERE VERY CARING WHEN INTERACTING WITH AND HANDLING MY CAT. DR. COOK EVEN ANSWERED QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT MY OTHER CAT WHO WAS NOT WITH ME ON THIS VISIT. HE TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS. WHEN THE VET TECH TOOK MY CAT INTO THE BACK TO DRAW THE BLOOK SAMPLE, DR. COOK BROUGHT IN TWO OF HIS OWN PETS WHO HAD GONE TO WORK WITH HIM THAT DAY TO SHARE HIS PETS WITH ME. THEIR CLINIC IS QUIET AND CLEAN, AND THERE ARE THREE OFFICE KITTIES WHO ROAM THE WAITING AREA.

MY FAMILY HAS ALWAYS USED THE LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN CLINIC BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY TALENTED WITH ANIMALS. THEIR WAITING ROOM IS KEPT VERY CLEAN, AS WELL. THEY ARE THE BEST!! THEY ARE THE FRIENDLIEST, KINDEST AND MOST EMPATHETIC PEOPLE WHO TRULY LOVE AND CARE ABOUT OUR DOGS! THEY HAVE THEIR OWN CATS SLEEPING ON THE COUNTERS AND THEIR DOGS WALKING AROUND OR ON THEIR LAPS. YOU NEVER FEEL RUSHED AND THEY WILL ALWAYS 'SQUEEZE' YOU IN WITH ANY SITUATION OR EMERGENCY. THEY WERE UNBELIEVABLE WHEN MY DOG OF 14 YEARS DIED, THEY COULDN'T DO ENOUGH TO ASSIST ME. THE DOCTOR CALLED ME ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO CHECK ON OUR FAMILY AS TO HOW WE WERE DOING AFTERWARDS AND EVEN SENT US A CARD!

THE DOG GROOMING SERVICE IS LOCATED INSIDE THE VET CLINIC. THEY ARE VERY GOOD TO THE ANIMALS. YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOGS BACK WITHIN ONE MONTH FOR A FREE NAIL TRIMMING. THEY SEEM TO BE LESS COSTLY THAN OTHER GROOMERS.
