I had a list of items that had been growing and finally a day to do them in. After checking Angie's List, I called Handyman Connection based on the numerous and favorable reviews here. I was not disappointed in my selection. After making my appointment, Joe came to see me the next day. He arrived with a tool set that had everything he needed for the day. We reviewed my list and the actual work to be done. He made a list and got the quote for me. The price I have listed included a coupon from this website. It was a fair price, and he was able to do the work immediately. Joe spent approximately 6 hours to perform my list of items. Some of my problems were not ordinary, and he was creative in his problem solving. All solutions were with an eye to what would look good or perform well. When solving a problem that requires a Home Depot "run," I'm sure others might come back with ideas and ask for more direction. I appreciated the fact that Joe came back with a recommendation and the supplies for his plan. He was completely open to not following the plan, but I appreciated that we had a way to move forward and get something done. (I chose his solution.) When the work was completed, Joe made sure that the areas where he worked were cleaned even to the point of making sure that my closet doors were sliding better than they had in years thanks to his additional vacuuming and special DW-40 pen. In all, I was impressed with how prepared Joe was for such a diverse list of tasks, and his professionalism was first rate. would not hesitate to contact them again.

They were prompt to call me and discuss the project and also explained of the many things they did gas lines was not one of them. They did offer to do the drywall repairs after the plumber had opened up the wall to install the gas line.

They charge an hourly rate. They are amazing. They call me anytime they come on-site or if they are going to be early. They call me up for follow-ups to make sure they are approved for the next day appointment. I have used them three times total so far. They installed a ceiling fan for me in the past.

We were very pleased with the Handyman Connection. They were professional and courtesy about setting up their initial appointment and Justin arrived exactly on time. Their estimate was reasonable and they were flexible in working within our schedule. All work was done in time and handled very well. Follow-up phone calls to make sure we were happy with the work done was an appreciated added touch! Would recommend to anyone without hesitation. The job went great. They bought the paint for us at Dunn Edwards. They were on time. The new, unpainted boards of the patio were given several coats and they painted the other areas of the roof so it would all match and blend perfectly. The taping and texturizing of the ceiling looks like it did when house was new. They took two mornings so the coats of paint had enough time to dry. They laid down plastic to protect the area and removed all debris. We were very satisfied with this company and their employees. Many thanks.

We submitted a request for service via Angie's list and were contacted very promptly. They made a timely appointment with us and Bob arrived right on time. He was super professional, friendly and clearly set expectations for the job in terms of how it would be done, the materials needed and any potential issues he thought might occur. We received a quote promptly and unfortunately determined the scope of this project exceeded our current budget and are unable to have the services performed at this time but will absolutely keep them in mind for the future.

I have used Handyman Connection on 2 different occasions initially in January of this year after an incident caused damage to interior and exterior walls of my home, incident also caused the breakage of outdoor lighting fixtures. I was very pleased with the services. Justin came to my house on the first visit he was very pleasant and professional I felt he was very trustworthy I actually left my home a few times while he was there to run some errands since he was there all day repairing the damage to my home I did not feel one bit uneasy about leaving him alone in my house, on the second occasion Frank came and replace toiled valve flushes and installed a light kit into the existing ceiling fan in my bedroom and repaired a leaking outdoor hose faucet. Frank was also very pleasant and professional. Fortunately for Frank he didn't have to stay as long as Justin did but I did feel that if I had had to leave my home I could have. I was very pleased with the work performed by both men and felt they were very trustworthy. When I called to make appts for repairs I spoke with Jacqueline, she also is extremely pleasant and professional.

I just want to say that Joe from Handyman Connection when above and beyond in Customer Service. He contacted me the evening before to make sure that our appointment was still a go. He wanted to know specific issues that I was having and expressed concern and knowledge of the situation. Joe showed up on time and with a great smile. He assessed my needs and estimated costs appropriately. Joe needed a few supplies and offered to go out and purchase them for me. I wanted to be involved and assist as much as possible, so he rode along with my son and I to the hardware store. He walked around and made suggestions and informed me of all the details that I believe were necessary to make an educated decision. Joe not only fixed all of my repairs, he taught me a few things and even let my son help!! I will definitely be using Handyman Connection again for my repairs. :0)

They only partially completed the job. There was more work to be done that could have been done. They just did not simply aggressively attack the task enough.

When Rick arrived to provide me an estimate, I noticed something right away. The back of his truck had several tools, ladders and such, but everything was organized and well cared for. To me that says a lot about a person - attention to detail and respect for his tools means he takes great pride in his work. The estimate came in pretty much in line with everyone else I had spoke with. Aside from some of the more complex stucco work, Rick worked alone. He was very meticulous when masking off the house and keeping my yard clean. I also have to give Rick credit for coming up with suggestions while he worked on the house (i.e. paint an area trim color versus the body color to accent better). Those little things sure do add up in the end result. I really like the business model of Handyman Connection. You buy the materials so there's no additional markup for them. For me it was and even bigger bonus. My HOA has an account with Dunn Edwards Paints and I saved almost 40% off of the retail price of paint. What else can I say? I'm very pleased with the work performed. A little more than a week and my house has really transformed. I've received lots of complements from neighbors. I will certainly keep this company in mind for future work.

handyman Connection arranged for Frank to come and install my large new litchen light. He was on time, professional and got the job done. HC is great at scheduling what you need in most cases. I trust their workers.

Service was excellent. I completed the online request, received a call shortly after that, and the repairman was at my home first thing the following morning. The quality of the work was excellent. While he was on the ladder he also replaced a lightbulb that had broken off in one of the fixtures. His cleanup job left my patio looking much better than when he arrived. I plan to use Handyman Connection again.

I had another company put in a new counter top that we had a big crack in. They broke the cabinet and never said anything. We had a terrible time trying to find someone who could fix it. The guy they sent out was absolutely fabulous. He went out of his way. He went all over town to find the one part we needed. He got it all fixed. It is okay now. He charged $45 per hour and added a small amount on mileage and a mere amount for the screws. It was less than $50 to $60. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

Rob was on time, estimated job correctly both time and cost. He was very careful to protect my floors and other rooms from over spray. Very thorough cleaned up.

Ron was right on time and fixed everything quickly. He was sure to let me know everything that needed to be done and gave me a price before starting the job. Will use him again to fix an issue I have with a gas grill. Ron was great.

The handyman came out and replaced the light. The light fixture contained 2 bulbs. Within 2 weeks one of the bulbs burned out. A handyman came out again to fix the light. He wanted to charge me again, but I refused to pay. He couldn't get the light to work and told me to contact the store. I was not satisfied with that answer.

Wesley was very prompt and professional; did a fabulous job on the wall.
