I had a small sink hole located close to the sewer drain outlets in the front yard. I wanted the drain inspected with a camera to see if there was a problem. Randy the tech arrived right on time, very helpful and professional and set up the video equipment and began inspecting the sewer line. He ran the camera out to the street and back into the house and all was fine, so there was no need for cleaning the line, which is included in the price. Would definitely use this company again.

I installed a Nest learning thermostat myself in July of 2012. The wiring scheme was correct for the use of the AC, but did not support the heating functions of the unit. I didn't observe this until I attempted to run the heat in January 2013. I selected Day and Night as a result of their outstanding feedback on Angie's List. Each facet of the service call was pleasant and professional Scheduling, home visit, and follow-up were all painless and efficient. Technicians were at my home within a business day and the initial effort at resolving the issue appeared to be successful. I should've made clear that I had Nest thermostat, and I would encourage anyone who has one to note that when scheduling the call. The first technician was very experienced, but had not had much direct experience with the Nest. It's possible, but not certain, a more Nest-familiar tech might have avoided the need for second service call. The nest-recommended wiring I established was sufficient to power the unit and run the AC. However, on my 17 year old unit, I needed a common wire to allow both the heat pump and AC to function while also providing power to the unit. An unused wire was already installed with my original thermostat wiring. While connecting this was, in theory, simple, I had no schematics to properly connect the wiring to the transformer wiring. A different technician arrived Friday for a follow-up call and was able to properly wire the common wire and add that to my Nest thermostat. This corrected all the issues and my HVAC is working correctly. I was very confident in the wiring and installation of the Nest, and even Nest tech support was unclear regarding the need for a common wire or the proper wiring in this case. I was satisfied with the service provided and the resolution of the issue. I later recommended Day and Night to another friend, at whose house I was staying, and had a chance to experience their service again. Their staff is experienced and will take the time to explain issues properly. I've been satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone in the valley looking to get the job done right the first time.

Technician-Jeff was wonderful. Did not charge me to install kitchen soap dispenser. With in 2-3 days it was not working right, we called them back and they gave us a song and dance. It took up to 20 seconds for the water to get hot, I called the manager and he sent someone out get the recirculation pump.

I purchased this as one of the big deal specials as it was taking 5-10 minutes to get hot water in my kitchen. Jason took the time to answer all of my questions and offered to come back to install another component to make the system work even better if my goal of hot water in the kitchen was not achieved. That was not needed as I now have hot water in all faucets throughout the house occur within a minute or less. I could not be happier. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I called Day & Night because my thermostat stopped working after I replaced it. They scheduled to send a tech out, but then also tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. They were able to help me identify and correct the problem with a $3 fuse, and were happy to help me even though I hadn't given them any business yet. I will be calling them for all my future tune-ups etc. A++ Experience.

The furnace stopped working last night and it got very cold. Called Day & Night Heating and someone came out within an hour. Once the tech found the problem he explained that it was the igniter and that it had cracked due to the cold snap we are having now that winter is here. He also explained that it was a common problem when it gets cold. He did not have the exact part on the truck so we had to wait till today with the hope that he would be able to locate the part at a location that hopefully was going to be open due to the holiday. We lucked out and found out there was a place open for the morning hours and it turned out to be the place where our unit was purchased to begin with. The new igniter was installed this afternoon as promised and everything is working fine. We are so pleased with this company. This is our second review and we cannot say enough good things about them. They are always professional, friendly, informative, on time, and fair. I will continue to use this company as long as they continue to give such great service!

They were good people and did a good job. They sent the guy here on time. They were very neat, tidy and polite. I have no negatives whatsoever. They were very reasonable and very knowledgeable. I liked them a lot.

I had a new unit installed several years ago and have been unhappy with the air balance ever since. One room is always too hot in the summer while two other rooms are always too cold. That company folded so I could not get it remedied under warranty. I had another company do maintenance on the unit where the technician informed me of so issues with the installation. I requested a followup visit to get recommendations. I had to call several times to get an appointment and get someone out. Although they provided several recommendations I did not feel comfortable with either the suggestions or the service. For my next maintenance I used Day & Night A/C Heating and Plumbing. The technician arrived on time and performed the maintenance. I was not surprised when he informed me about several installation issues with the unit. We went up in the attic and he showed me the various issues and he carefully explained the problems and answered my questions. There were three basic problems: 1: The round return ducting was taped directly to the square inlet of the unit without the use of a plenum and also the the tape had separated. 2:There was no transition ducting from the heater to the A/C portion of the unit whose coils were of different sizes. 3: The supply plenum was too small and vents were attached to the end of the plenum causing imbalanced air supply. He informed me of available rebates available from SRP to have a venting leak check and also repair of the venting. I requested to have the venting checked. They were very prompt in arranging the appointment and changing the appointment due to my schedule conflicts. They arrived on time, performed the venting leak check, tracked down the causes of the leaks, and provided advice to how to fix the leaks. They also prepared most of the paper work for submitting the rebate information to SRP. At the same time they examined the installation of the attic unit, provided possible solutions and gave me a quote on the solution I selected, and scheduled the appointment. The solution I selected would require the unit to be taken apart, re-oriented, and re-assembled with new plenums, transition ducting, and new supply and return ducts added. The service technicians arrived promptly on time. They taped down tarps to minimize dirt on the carpets. The preformed the work as requested and answered all my questions. They cleaned up and even vacuumed the carpets. Since the big issue was air balance in the summer I cannot attest to if the problem has been totally fixed but the air balance appears better even for heating. I feel very confident that the air balance and efficiency of the unit will be much improved. It was a very good experience with Day & Night A/C Heating and Plumbing.

The plumber called ahead to see if we would mind him coming early. He was courteous and clear about the price in advance. He had very helpful suggestions and gave us his cell number in case we needed to ask any questions, etc. A fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Everything was fine and they came out at the time they said they would. It didn't take them very long to put the unit in and it works good and I'm happy. I've only had it for about a month, but the work was good and the person who did it was great. Everything was good about their service.

Quick work. Explained what neede to be done. Available to do extra jobs without resecheduling and another trip charge.

The whole process took about 2 hours from when he got here. I had already dug the whole making it accessible for him to make the repairs.

Excellent and professional service

I called Day & Night Heating and Air Conditioning to check my two heating units before the season. I called the week of Dec. 10 and was given an appointment of Dec.20. I was home all day but the technician was trying to call my husband's cell phone number so he did not get me. My husband called me to tell me they had been trying to reach me. The office said they only had the cell number and not the house. I thought I had given them both, but I guess not. So the office gave me an appointment for Sat. between 2 & 4p.m. I said that we were going out Sat. night and if the technician came at 4p.m. that he would not be done in time. She said to have him clean and check the inside unit first and then we could leave. He could do the outside one after we left. So on Sat. Dec. 15th Jerry Garikis came at 3:30p.m. It was pouring rain so he came in and put shoe booties so he go on the carpet. He went to the inside unit and started to clean it and then asked to see the outside air conditioning compressor. We thought that was odd. When he came back inside, he said that the heating controller was wired wrong! I had hired an electrician to put in digital controllers the year before so the outside compressors were running, along with the heat. So Jerry looked at both controllers and rewired them. It was getting late so it was dark, cold, and rainy but Jerry went out to his truck, got a huge umbrella and then went to work on the outside unit. He took it apart and cleaned it since we had so many dust storms this year. At 6p.m. he said he was done and it would take about 15 minutes to write up all the information on our units since we were new clients. At 6:15 he came back in with all the paper work and bill. The bill was still for the exact amount the office had quoted even though he had to do extra work. The people that picked us up that evening asked what was wrong with our heat since the truck was still there. We said that it was for a routine check-up. I was so pleased with the work, price and honesty by this technician and they could not believe that a company would work on a Saturday with out extra fees We also found out that Day and Night Heating and plumbing already had many neighbors as clients. I will definitely use them again.

The plumber was a hard worker and efficient. He was very pleasant and open to discussion. Overall it went very well. He arrived on time and cleaned up after himself. Now, many months later, it appears that we may have a leak in the upstairs bathroom, so I need to determine if it is the toilet or some other fixture; it could just be the way the house was built. I had high confidence in the abilities of this plumber from other work he also performed for me at another location.

This company's rep arrived on time and was very professional. In order to check out the system at our condo, he had to climb up on the roof. He found that the unit did not require servicing only some minor adjustments. We were very pleased with the service rendered.

Overall it went very well. The point of contact at DN was quite personable, customer-oriented, and knowledgeable. As I had gotten may quotes from several different companies I asked many questions but not once did he show any signs of impatience or get annoyed. I went with DN after careful deliberation and comparisons with the other quotes and decided on DN as the best, reasonable choice in my case. All the estimates and scheduling went smoothly and without any issues, it seemed that DN and its crew are confident enough to trust the customer and themselves to make the process smooth and convenient for the customer. For example, they did not even collect the payment until several weeks after they installed the new AC/heating system. They went far and beyond what was in the contract (e.g., put in an extra register in the MBR closet, put in the return in the MBR etc.). Couple weeks ago they did a final check of the system and found no issues. There's still the pressure test remaining but that needs to be done after some time. I was told to let them know of any issues whatsoever. I may still have a few more questions and issues when I schedule the final pressure test, but I expect no issues whatsoever as they have been right on the ball from day one. Excellent company, excellent crew, excellent point of contact/sales person!

The entire process went extremely smoothly from the purchase of the Angie's List Deal to the conclusion of our work:We purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List for a total of $59.00. This purchase entitled to us one hour of plumbing services. Day and Night promptly responded to our request and made an appointment the following week. The repair person arrived promptly as agreed. He replaced the flushing mechanism on a toilet that had provided constant problems over the past year with previously failed attempts at repair by others. Given more time, he then repaired parts on a second toilet to be sure it was in top condition. With time remaining he also repaired a slow leak in the bathroom faucet. We received an incredible amount of expert service for this expenditure. We would highly recommend this company.
