Victor came the next day actually earlier than scheduled, which we appreciated. He was very professional, videoed our sewer line out to the alley and from the point of blockage and assured us that it was a temporary blockage. Our sewer line was clear. I did ask if there was anything we could do to prevent future issues since we have a older home and he offered us (no pressure) a periodic enzyme treatment that we could apply ourselves. We purchased the enzyme ($50) and will see how it works out for us going forward.

Everything went perfectly, Mike Tufegdzic was very knowledgeable and professional. He went out of his way to check the issues we were experiencing with our existing system and gave us all the options and pricing we asked for. The technicians were on time, worked efficiently and were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The office staff was also very responsive, professional and courteous. Mike and a technician came back after two weeks to check the system and to make sure it was working properly. The system has exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this company to anyone thinking of buying a new HVAC system.

I can't say enough for the service. Victor, the plumber, listened patiently and politely while I explained details of the problems I had been experiencing. He found the water pressure to be dangerously high because the PRV wasn't working. This in turn had been causing pipes in the adjoining wall to bang loudly. I also showed him a leaking pipe from the water heater and asked him to fix that too. He had the required parts with him and went right to work and solved the problems. I was very, very pleased, and based on my experience, I would highly recommend this company.

I appreciate knowing what needs to be replaced now and what could wait. Chuck also gave me some options for more efficient heating and AC options given that I only have one zone in the house and it is a weird layout. He suggested that when the roof is being done that he or another company person come out to look at the vents and see what options would be most efficient and cost effective for my quirky old house.

I originally had a water pressure problem which they fixed that only cost $138.00 (which I thought was a great price). I then asked about an indoor heating/air conditioning unit. Someone came to discuss different units. I selected what I wanted and they had it installed. They did an excellent job - very professional! I would highly recommend them.

They were very good and very thorough. I was completely satisfied with it. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They came out within a couple of days of calling. The people that came and did the work were very nice, very professional and courteous. They even put little paper booties on their shoes. It was good.

Day & Night came out immediately to prevent further damage. Gave me an estimate on repairs and came back out on Monday to repair. Very prompt and very helpful.

Problem happened on a Friday night, repair came out early Saturday morning. Technician was prompt, right on time, and called before he arrived. It was tough to clear the toilet clog, but he was finally able to clear it out of the toilet where it stuck shortly in the drain line. The snake was able to clear that, and he checked all of the other drains in that bathroom to ensure they were all performing well.

Service tech was professional and diagnosed problem consistent to what I thought it would be. Price was high, but may or may not be in line with other large A/C companies. What really irritated me is that the $79 service/response fee was not applied to the price, especially since the parts were in the van and the service was done immediately. In the future I will seek out a company that will apply the service fee to repairs. I will not use this company in the future for this reason alone.

I have been using this company for 3 years for all a/c heater related issues and scheduled maintenance at two rental properties i manage. I like that they don't seem to push buying new units if the old one can be fixed. They always work with me paying, and calling the renter to schedule, and calling me for decisions and emailing/snail mailing me results. They're always friendly and I've never had a complaint from the renters. My only hesitation is always the price. If I knew of a reliable individual who could charge less, I'd switch.

Price included the toilets and installation. They also replaced them mechanism in a third toilet at no additional charge.

The person was prompt, explained what he was going to do and let me know of any problems.

I called Day & Night on the Friday afternoon after Christmas to request a technician. Despite the holiday time, they were able to confirm a tech for the next afternoon. Jeff O. arrived within the window advised, and very quickly confirmed the problem. He replaced the valve quickly. The entire job was completed within 45 minutes. The work site was left cleaner than when he arrived. Jeff O. Is very professional and punctual. He will clearly explain the problem and provide information on the costs and options for repair. This company is now my "go to" for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended!!

The sales representative was professional answering all our questions. He also helped us a**** our needs even recommending a 3 1/2 ton rather than a 4 ton. The installers were polite, on time, and responsive to our questions. Three weeks later a representative came out to verify that the unit was functioning properly and that we were totally satisfied with the unit's operation. I would definitely use them for all my heating and plumbing needs.

The compressor on our 33 year old AC/Heating system burned out. We called several companies for estimates to replace the unit. All the companies were on Angie's List. One of them was Day and Night. I was initially impressed with them when I called and asked if they could give me some pricing over the phone. I didn't want to go through having another sales rep out to be given the same options. By now I knew I wanted a 2 to 3 ton 14.25 seer unit. I was connected to the owner, Jeff, who surprised me by actually giving me some pricing. Who does that? I was so impressed, I made an appointment for someone to come out to give me recommendations and a written estimate. The rep, Marc, came out and after looking a the the old unit, which is on the roof of our condo, and doing some interior measurements etc. gave me three (yes three) separate options for replacement. I was very impressed that he did not try to UP sell me, but presented what seemed like a very honest, realistic, down to earth approach to replacement of our old system. An example might explain this statement. I asked why the estimate he gave me for the warranty on labor was 2 years rather than the 12 years I had gotten from other companies. He said he could sell me an extented warranty to take it to 12 years for $600, but did not think I needed same. He explained that the extended warranty had automatically been included in the estimates provided by the other companies. In other words, he gave me the option of an extended warranty instead of automatically including same in his pricing. We decided on a unit which was installed the next week. That all went very smoothly from the truck and installers coming with the new unit, to the crane arriving to take the new unit to the roof and bring the old unit down, to the installers doing all the connections. I think this all took 2 hours. Also, Day and Night does not ask for any money until they come back a week or so after installation to do a walk through inspection and make sure you are happy with the new unit. Thats right no deposit and no payment at all till the inspection is done a week later. What company have you used for any service that has that policy? The final inspection was not cursory. Once again someone was up on the roof checking on the unit and in the house asking about any concerns or questions we had and then taking the time to answer the questions. We could not be happier with Day and Night.

The work was done fast and have not had any issues with it. It looks professional and the repair man was nice and easy to deal with. The cost was a bit more than I figured but I did not do much research so that is probably my issue. The only thing I was not impressed with was I asked for an estimate on a larger, future job. The gas hot water heater in out new (old) home is not up to code, small and I am sure ready to go. I asked for an estimate of replacing it. All I got was a number, $1,250. There was no breakdown of cost. There was no explanation of materials versus labor. I would have like to have seen that. I want to make a informed decision. Because of that I am not sure I will go with them for the hot water heater job.

On New Year's Eve day, I started calling early in search of a plumber since our laundry room developed back up drainage and overflowed the night before. I was relieved to have Day & Night commit to a time slot without an emergency service fee. Then they did exactly what the cheerful scheduler said they would do. Jeff, the plumber, called to let us know he was on his way. He was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, courteous and handled the declogging quickly and efficiently. Jeff educated us on preventing the same problem, then took a look at other plumbing issues in the house that we did not realize had been there before! He even diagnosed water damage that was not related to plumbing, but a roof leak! Then he proceeded to apply our Angie's List membership coupon which was an excellent price for the work and the quality. My husband and I could not have been happier with the service call! And yes, we will have him come back out to replace the kitchen faucet and repair the other plumbing issues. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and especially Jeff!

The scheduling was easy and the serviceman arrived on time. Jeff was very professional, neat, and finished the work in about an hour. I like the product and will use the company again.

The company sent someone out in the afternoon for an estimate and assessment on first day contacted. He confirmed it was more than likely a slab leak but a detector appointment would pinpoint the exact location. We contacted them early the next morning after our family discussion that evening to go ahead with this company for the repair. This company was chosen due to their high rating and years of service. Here's where things started to go downhill. We had to wait almost a week for an appointment with the company they wanted to use for leak detection (since they don't do it in house). We were told that the repair would take place the same day the leak was detected so we decided to wait the week since we were getting a good company. On the day of the leak detection inspection, we were told that the repair would not be performed the same day and they would have the office call to schedule for the repair. Of course, this was not what was promised initially. When the office called, they said the next available appointment would be another week!!! That would make almost two weeks waiting for a slab repair. Now this was not just a cosmetic or less criticial fix such as swapping out a toilet or installing a new washing machine... this was a slab leak. This means that we were pretty much without running water while awaiting this repair. (During this time, we run only turn on the house water when we needed to refill tanks, tons of containers and for 5 minute showers). After the family discussion evening, we decided that we could not wait another week for the repair since that would mean another week without fully running water. We called the next morning requesting a copy of the leak report that had been paid for so we could hire another company. Of course, they said they would call us back after this discussion. Lo and behold... can you believe they were now able to do the repair the next day?!? Funny how our repair became important to them the minute we were going to switch to another company. Two technicians came early the next morning. A second person was needed initially to help run the new line. The plumber was very nice and professional the entire time. Upon discussion, we decided to also bypass the hot water line in addition to the cold line (which had the leak). The plumber was there almost the entire day. The toilet needed to be moved to easily reach the pipes in the bathroom. To their credit, they did replace the toilet flange since it looked in need. Once the plumber was finished with the repair and replacing the toilet, he, unfortunately, could not locate the caulk gun. Really? A plumber without a caulk gun? Okay, he was new and was using another technician's truck so we're sure he just couldn't locate it. Fortunately, we had several caulk gun options in our garage. He was very apologetic and embarrassed by this. Once again, the plumber was very nice and very professional the entire time. Now, if he worked on his own (outside of this company), we would not hesitant to rehire him personally. Now fast forward two weeks, we found that we could not open a drawer next to the dishwasher. Some of the new lines had been run behind the dishwasher which meant it protruded a litter further than before which provided an obstruction to the drawer. Since the entire experience with this company left a bad taste in our mouths, we did not really want any further dealings with them so we cut a bit of the drawer front down to allow the opening of it. The only other option was to contact them and maybe rerun the lines behind the dishwasher. Sorry, we did not want another headache with this company. Now, after this nightmare of an experience, I would not hire this company again. The office staff and the plumber were very nice but that was the only positive. There are always lessons to be learned from bad experiences. The lesson we learned was not to hire such a big company that does not seem to value each customer since they have so much business. So, on a go-forward basis, we will go with smaller companies who can value and service each customer appropriately, respectfully and promptly.

Day and night came by within 6 hours of my phone call. The technician who arrived, CJ, was extremely professional, courteous, and thorough, going so far as to wear shoe covers in the house (even though the house was under some construction and not exactly sparkling clean when he arrived anyway). He very quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it equally swiftly - a blown fuse at the 24V transformer that was probably inadvertently shorted during the remodeling. The cost for trip fee and repair was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to use Day and Night for any further HVAC needs in the future. I have put their number on speed dial for all heating and cooling related problems.

I am filing a report with the BBB. They performeed the work, but the next day they emailed me with an invoice. We talked after this and they aggreed to accept payment on Friday. I received a call on Monday harrassing me for a payment. They then removed the payment from my debit card when the check was already on the way. They have now double billed me.
