Description of Work
It's hard to find a kennel willing to accept your dog unless you allow your dog to socialize with other dogs at their facility, ie. doggie daycare. We really didn't like the idea of obligating pet owners to throw their pet(s) into a room with other strange dogs. With this said, it's unbelievably hard to find a kennel that does NOT do this and instead, gives each dog their own room -- complete with private, separate access to the outside. We were VERY pleased to find Bed and Biscuit. They are the only facility in NWA with these features. Vet offices provide individual kennels but don't offer individual runs for each dog. The private "rooms" are roomy with raised dog beds and central heat and A/C. They also cater to cat owners but we have never boarded our cats yet. It's a drive for us to get to Bed and Biscuit from west Bentonville but the pros outweigh the cons. The cost of boarding is competitive and the owner is very friendly and she goes out of her way to make you (and your dog) happy.
