HomeAdvisor limits review length, so I'll try to keep this brief.
Folsom Tree Service showed up in my city after the worst natural disaster we've ever seen. They started work before the contract was signed, dangled a tree over my house while I was signing said contract and telling me that insurance wouldn't cover damages if FTS "messed up" and dropped the tree on my house.
They then did work, unasked, that they knew would not be covered by insurance. When insurance didn't pay for the additional uninsured work, they put a lien on my home and are now threatening to sue my insurance company and my family. To be clear, they were fairly paid $20k for the work that was covered. They are threatening to sue me for an additional ~$12k that is not covered. When three other tree services were consulted about the amount, they all agreed that the amount being charged was bordering fraudulent, and FTS should have known that that work would not be covered.
I would not recommend this company.

Tree Trimming
The team is very knowledgeable, friendly and conscientious. They used a crane to securely lift up and remove our trees and it was impressive to watch the skillfulness of the job. They also did a great job of sweeping and cleaning up the small debris. I highly recommend them!

These guys came out after a large tree fell on our house. I was amazed at how efficient these guys were! In less than an hour they had the tree off my house and mulched up! Other than the damage done, when they walked away, we couldn't even tell a tree had been laying there! Awesome job!

The Folsom guys are artists in tree cutting. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. They cut and hauled 16 gum trees in very tight places and left my yard clean. NO MORE GUM BALLS!

They removed 92 trees on my property as well as the stumps. They cleaned the property every day when they finished. They really are a 10.
