  • Tiny's Tree Service
Tiny's team was GREAT. He responded and removed tree within a few hours. Very responsive and professional. Highly recommend. We intend to use him for future tree removals in the spring.

Very Pleased! Arrived when promised. Always on time. Everyone worked hard while they were here. Cleaned up afterwards. Couldn't ask for more. Price seemed fair when he gave me the quote, but seemed cheap when I saw how hard they had to work.

  • Chris Tree Service
Chris and his crew arrived on the day they promised. They worked all day Friday and Saturday. The crew cut down the trees in a very efficient and safe manner. Nothing in the yard was harmed as they made sure all of the limbs were directed away from the carport and roof lines. They cut down the trees and cut all the limbs into manageable pieces for firewood and because we did not want the wood, Chris had arranged for several people to arrive with trucks to haul it away. The stumps were ground and they left the piles of mulched up stump so that we could use it in the flower beds. The crew worked very hard and they were extremely polite and courteous. I will hire Chris again for any tree cutting needs we encounter in the future

  • Jones Outdoor Service Inc
I've been buying firewood from Jones since we moved here in 2010. I chose to buy from them because the first time I called, I asked how they calculated their cords (a question that had already stumped, no pun intended, several other providers), and the answer I received made it clear that they were knowledgeable about their business. Their price was also among the best, and they delivered and stacked my wood. Hooray! After the 2011 tornadoes, we decided the giant oak in our backyard needed to come down NOW instead of "someday." We got estimates from a few places, but Jones was by far the cheapest. Even if the price had been close or slightly higher, my inclination would have been to use Jones because of our good experiences with them. Please note: I am not entirely sure what the price was. I'll try to find it and update, but I do remember it was hundreds less that the next-lowest estimate. They came on schedule, and discussed with me beforehand the likelihood of damage to my yard from their trucks. After they had been working for a little while, it started raining. They kept working! It started pouring. They got in the trucks and waited until it slacked off a little, then went back to work. My 70-foot tree was down in a matter of hours! I was very, very impressed by the work ethic displayed by those guys out in the rain. We've also bought mulch from Jones. It's not any kind of specialty material or dyed or anything, but it was exactly what we needed and, again, the price was right. They delivered it

  • Blackwell Firewood
Rated him excellent on 11/15. Used him ever since. First few years great - downhill since. Ripped off this year - got 5/8 of what I paid for. I trusted him so paid in full; he promised to make good - never did - refused to return my messages. Lost over $100. Buy elsewhere.

  • Chris Tree Service
After a week of promised delivery dates and times he has yet to deliver any firewood. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for keeping a promise.
