First Baptist Church of Williams

Our toddler was there several months.  Beginning while he was in the infant room, several times I went to pick up and he was alone in the room unattended.   I could have taken him and no one would have noticed.  A few months later, at pick up he was in a large group including older children in the gym sitting alone on the floor crying while the staff texted and had conversation among themselves not attending to the children at all.  Staff never noticed I had come into the gym, again I could have taken him and no one would have noticed.  Last straw was when he was bitten 6 times, on 3 occasions.  Twice on the face leaving  scar which remains today.  No action was taken to correct the situation or separate the biter from my toddler.  Biter was related to  a teacher at the daycare.   In the afternoons on the playground, staff could be observed standing around texting on their phones, paying no attention to the children in their care.
All of these problems were addressed with mgmt.  First meeting was with Assistant Director  who said "Well I have the teacher's backs" basically telling me nothing would be said or done to correct any of this.  Next meeting was over the phone with Director and again while she apologized,  nothing was resolved.  She was unaware they texted, etc, because she was off in afternoons she said. 
We had hoped our toddler would get more attention at a smaller daycare, but found out sadly, that if you don't go to church there and are not in the 'cliche' your child will be over-looked.
I would not recommend this daycare in any form or fashion for anyone.  To this day, our toddler has a face scar from a bite.  While I understand children do bite, nothing was done to correct the situation even after 6 bites.
