I called Jon about options for my back yard which was in poor shape with a crumbling retaining wall and step wall in the middle of the back yard which made it unusable. He proposed removing the step wall, grading the back yard to one level and rebuilding the retaining wall with wider steps. The team came in and did the demolition, cut down 4 trees and removed the stumps.They graded the back yard so it was level and built a retaining wall with stairs. They also planted grass in the back yard. They built a paver patio and walkway to connect to the retaining wall stairs. The weather was a big challenge during this project. We received a lot rain in the fall which delayed the completion of the work. The SLL Team kept at it when weather would allow and completed the project. As the ground settled there were a couple of problems with drainage and the stairs. I called Jon and he came out resolved all of the problems. I was pleased with how the work turned out. The patio, walkway and retaining wall look great and my family is really enjoying our new back yard. I had them come out this spring to remove some additional stumps and smooth out the front yard. Everything turned out great

Marcos and his team are fantastic! Marcos contacted me the same day that I requested a project quote. He came out to the property, and answered all my questions regarding installing a retaining wall between my house and the neighbor's house. He outlined each step that needed to be done in order to install a new retaining wall that would drain properly. He and his team removed an old timber retaining wall and prepared the slope for a new wall. This meant they had to excavate the slope, remove tree stumps and remove old chunks of concrete and rebar from the area. Once the area was prepared, they dug out a trench. Each day, they cleaned up the area, and sent pictures of the daily progress. The new retaining wall runs the length of the driveway, following the slope for erosion prevention. It is 90 ft long, 3-4 ft high, with a French drain. In addition to the retaining wall, Marcos's team was able to re-grade the back yard and removed an overgrown Island in the front yard. I highly recommend his company! He is very professional & skilled. All of his crew are very polite and hard workers

He has been my lawn maintenance guy for the past 5 years. He does all of the mowing, lawn treatments, tree trimming and leaf removal. He does an amazing job at creating paver walkways and stone walls. He has built 3 stone walls so far and a paver walkway. The workmanship is fabulous!

Alan from Landmark Design was an absolute professional with a work ethic that is hard to find these days. He worked nonstop from the time he arrived, early in the morning, until after the sun set (at one point using his truck headlights for lighting). He was very personable and always wanted to make sure we were happy with the job that was being done. Any crazy request we threw at him, he accomplished with no hesitation and a great attitude! He has reached out several times after completion to check on things and make sure we are still satisfied with the work. He was flexible and worked with us as the project evolved to perfect the plan. There were no hidden or surprise charges. They were very conscientious and paid attention to detail. Rick made sure we were happy every step of the way. They even had to work around a dog and took good care of him! The associates from Living Colors Painting and Remodeling arrived at approx. 0830am. Mr. Jeremy Brown (supervisor) immediately introduced himself with a handshake. Both Mr. Brown and I viewed the job (the painting of 1 bedroom and 1 stairwell leading to my basement) discussing exactly what would be done. I am the process of having carpet replaced in the bedroom as well as the stairwell and even though we had not discussed the removal of the carpet Mr. Brown and a member of his crew removed the carpet before prepping the walls. Which in the end would make it a more complete job. They also patched several places in the walls of the bedroom and caulked areas of the baseboard that were showing a slight separation from the walls before painting. Great job, Great crew

In short, Bob had to come in and fix a poor job another contractor did on a basement wall, He made very creative suggestions that I am happy we went with. Included was building a few basement walls using 2x6 rather than 2x4 to make sure the above floor joists had appropriate support when 2x4's would not work. Additionally he built a cabinet quality bookshelf that is like a piece of furnature. Bob also had to cut a whole out of a brick wall which he did very effectively with no mess. Bob was exceptional in his willingness to work within unusual constraints and I would recommend him strongly to others. He worked very quickly and his work exceeded my expectations.
