We had a leaking porch roof, with rotting boards. Dennis Johnson, the owner of the company, came himself to inspect the problem and offer some options for repair. He gave detailed information about the process and followed up with a written estimate. He was very patient and responsive to further inquiries about all the details of the project. The work was completed when scheduled, with no surprise hidden costs. The work was performed by Dennis and his assistant, and they cleaned up and hauled off all the debris as promised. Triad Roofing gave us a solid mid-range estimate and we chose them because of the thoroughness and care given during the estimate. They were really the only company who got up on the roof and checked out all the issues before determining an estimate. Throughout the process, we ran into some unpredictable issues with our roofing situation and made a few changes in our design as well. Working with a near 200 year old house structure provides many challenges! Travis worked with us through all of it and proved to be flexible with our needs. Steve was very prompt w/ estimate. Answered all questions and supplied samples of available shingle choices as well as addresses where chosen shingle color was installed. References were included w/ the quote, which was the lowest of 3 received. Started promptly on the day he quoted and would have finished on the following day. However, there was a problem w/ a "tacked on" porch roof that was rotten and needed to be removed. He suggested a carpenter to remove it, who arrived that evening to look over. Porch roof was removed and Steve returned to finish the job. Am very pleased w/ the results. I would highly recommend this company to anyone

Within minutes after I received the recommended providers I received a call from Chris Wall with Ibarra Moon. After hearing the description of the issue he diagnosed the most likely issue and it potentially being a quick fix. He agreed to check it out the very next day and explained the options. It looked a like a quick fix could indeed be an option as opposed to a larger project removing/replacing shingles/siding would be an expensive proposition with the height of the house and steep roof. So we decided on the quick fix and if it did not have the desired results still go for the full job. Chris came back after the weather dried out to perform the fix himself.. He was great to work work with, very honest and generous as well. I highly recommend his services

Jesse Taylor Roofing
Shortly after purchasing our 1972-built home in 2005 we had a roof leak near a valley where a sun room was added in 1991. We called Jesse and he was on-site and immediately saw the problem with the shingle overlay on the existing roof. (Interestingly, the home had been owned by a building contractor as his residence, and he had added the sun room!) Jesse suggested exposing and both valleys, adding a valley trough, and replacing with matching shingles properly laid. The problem was corrected at a very fair price, and we never had another problem. So, in 2012 when we needed the entire roof replaced we called Jesse again. His crew worked quickly, did not damage our K-Guard gutters, and cleaned up well after the job. His pricing was fair, and I would much rather deal directly with someone who knows his trade than with a larger company who sends a salesman to do the estimate then the work crew. (Less overhead cost to cover as well.) Jesse gave me his handwritten estimate to start things, and I handed him my personal check at the end. There are things worse than doing business the old-fashioned way

Triad Installations
In 2016 Triad Installations did an excellent job of re-roofing my 1925 stucco house in Winston-Salem. The work consisted of a main roof (with a fireplace in the main body of the roof), a porch roof, roofs over two dormers and a stub roof in the back over the back eave. Mr. Barlow called me to recommend a new way of sealing the roof against the stucco. After three years I'm happy to report that the roof is still as good as new and that the ceilings are all dry. Of course the job looked great immediately after the installation. I wanted to have the objectivity of time so waited until now to write a review. I highly recommend Rich Barlow if you're looking for a new roof

TONY'S ROOFING
BEWARE! NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE WORK! NEVER RETURNED MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS! Spoke with Tony on the phone and he came to my house and provided an estimate. I talked with him three days later to confirm that he was chosen to do the work over two other contractors. He agreed to do the work the following Monday or Tuesday. He never showed up. I called and left multiple messages on his voicemail that week. Just in case there was a family or medical emergency, I called again the next week and left two other messages. Again, no return call. Very unprofessional. Completely unreliable

I was looking to refinish my roof that needed some repair. Miguel from Xpress roofing examined the roof and at my request gave me two distinct estimates. One was to just repair the very bad spots that would buy me a few more years. The other option was for a total roof replacement. I decided to bite the bullet and replace the entire roof. Miguel gave me a detail account of the work he would perform and a competitive bid. I decided to go with him based on positive reviews I had seen and the professional manner in which he presented himself. I'm really glad I chose Xpress Roofing. Miguel and his crew did a great job and replaced the entire roof over 3 days following Christmas. He and his crew were all professional and they left my yard and driveway cleaner than before they started. Miguel did a great job of explaining the work performed (especially in replacing some sheets of wood that had received some damage) and pointed out tricky/potentially troubling areas. The roof looks great and we already discussed a "tune-up" in 3-5 years to examine the roof and any dry rot to the caulk covering any exposed nails. His roofing crew was polite and as far as I can tell, did an excellent job (I confess I have not walked the roof to examine the work, it's far too steep for me to climb up and down). We've had no leaks in spite of a good bit of rain, and our new roof makes our house look great. Ben did not pressure us to buy his services, but was very helpful, including walking the roof with our insurance inspector to answer any questions about our claim. He promptly filed our warranty paperwork and we received the roof warranty from GAF soon after paying off the work. Tesh Roofing did an excellent job. Don Tesh gave the estimate and was punctual and friendly. His crew showed up early on the scheduled day, worked hard all day, and finished just before dark. They tore off my old roof, removed an old leaning chimney just below the rood line, patched the chimney hole in the roof, replaced all rotten and split roof boards, then re-roofed the entire roof using quality Timberline shingles and new boots for the vent piping. They cleaned up really good and even hauled off some of my personal junk from other projects I was working. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would use Tesh Roofing again and recommend them to others
