We’ll worth the 3-4 week wait as Justin’s schedule stays full from so many new and returning clients! Everything went extremely well. Justin was fast to respond each time we called. We were amazed at his great prices and amazing work. He was very friendly, worked fast, and provided great pictures of before and after his repairs. Everything took around 2.5 hours start to finish when we were originally expecting 3-4. He was also exceptionally great with our dog. We will DEFINITELY be using The Chimney Sweep Experts again soon

Have used John Budd in the past and have always been very satisfied. This time I requested a chimney cleaning and an estimate for the fire brick to be replaced. After cleaning the chimney, John informed that the fire brick did not have to be replaced only the joints needed to be repaired. When asked when that could be done, John stated that I was his last call that day, so he could perform the necessary repair at this time. It took about an additional half hour of John's time but the job was complete. I also have to mention that this provider is a very clean worker, considering that it is a super dirty job. They let me know that I need a cap for my chimney, at which time they let me know what my options are for the caps, the pricing and the pros and cons of each type of cap. They also found that the trap door in my fireplace was loose and they fixed it for me with no additional charge. I would highly recommend this company

He was able to match mortar for a crack on a pillar and even faux finished the brick the other mason installed to make it blend better. He has a strong attention to detail which we really appreciate. Josh was prompt, friendly and professional. He was an expert in what he was doing, and taught me a lot about my fireplace! He did a thorough inspection and cleaning, including climbing on the roof, and while he was up there he made a note of other repair issues that I might not have known about, like a couple missing shingles, and to what degree my gutters needed cleaning. This was a nice touch! He cleaned up any leftover soot from the cleaning before he left. I feel safer about using the fireplace now, and would definitely recommend Josh to anyone

Our fireplace has not been in use for over 10 years so we wanted to have it cleaned and inspected. The guys performed the cleaning quickly and were careful to keep things clean. They noted one low priority issue that needed to be addressed and gave an approximate cost they would charge to repair it if I was interested in the future. No pressure at all. They returned my initial phone call almost immediately and were able to come by the very next day. They were a little early for the appointment we scheduled, but warned me that might happen depending on how their prior appointment went. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend them

They really had very little to do. I called a chimney sweep because of the cracks in the mortar of the firebricks. Wanted to make sure fireplace was in OK condition to install the new gas logs. Visit was so short, I thought the cost was a bit much since this was not a wood fire chimney being inspected and cleaned

He persuaded me against replacing my whole front steps/stoop, which saved me a lot of money, and he was right; with the new mortar and sealing, my stoop and front steps look great. He did a lot of experimenting to get a beige mortar which would match the pre-existing mortar when it dried, and he had good suggestions (which he explained in detail) of little things he could do to improve the appearance and long-term stability of the walk. The ugly cracks in my facade and retaining wall now blend in with the surrounding walls. He was also able to explain what had caused the crack in my facade and how to watch for future problems. He showed up when he said he would. They were here for 4 days. His crew was very neat (both in the work done and in the prep areas), and they cleaned up the dust and mortar droppings thoroughly and carefully. Keith was a real perfectionist. All in all, it all looks great, he and his crew were very professional, they did everything I needed done at a reasonable price, and the process I had dreaded could not have been more painless

My Budd arrived within five minutes of the appointment time. I explained that my home was build in 1960, and that although I had moved into the home four years ago, I didn't want to build a fire until I could be assured of the integrity of the chimney lining and that it was cleaned. He inspected the chimney walls and declared that they were in good condition and did not require any repairs, but that it did need cleaning. He offered to perform the cleaning service, and I accepted his offer. He spread out a large blanket or cover over the hearth and adjacent floor, opened the glass fireplace screen doors, removed the fireplace grate, and spent a total of approximately 45 - 60 minutes cleaning the chimney. After he completed that job, he thoroughly vacuumed any ashes from the interior of the fireplace and adjoining hearth, and removed any additional debris by rolling it up in the cover that had earlier spread over the floor. He removed his equipment and the rolled up hearth blanket and further dusted the area to remove any dust that may have settled outside (although I didn't see any dust). He replaced the grate, and closed the glass fireplace screen, at which time the job was completed. He is quite personable and an interesting conversationalist. After he was paid and departed. I noticed that he had left a little miniature chimney sweep figure on the mantle - very cute
