I scheduled an estimate over the phone. Jerry showed up right on time. He reviewed our problem and recommended several solutions including preventative measures to alleviate the possibility of recurrence. He also noticed another minor issue with our front door and offered a reasonable solution. The quote was sent via email and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. From day one he said, "I will take care of you" and he did just that throughout the process. Communication is big for me. I understand that things happen and there may be delays, so if any were foreseen Obie communicated that with me. The entire team was AWESOME from Mrs. Isabel crew who packed and unpacked my house, to Mrs. Martinez (office personnel) calling every few days to see if I had questions/concerns, to Obie seeing everything through. Chris Sampson, owner of Custom Construction and Renovations, visited, examined the workspace and area underneath, and laid out the process. We were doing the work during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, a difficult time for such work, but Chris navigated the problems perfectly. The job entailed replacing an old fiberglass tub and shower unit with an enlarged shower-only with a moveable seat, replacing an old, old two-sink vanity with a custom-built one with cabinets and drawers for storage, replacing the commode, and replacing the carpeted floor with a high-quality cork floor. Finally, Chis installed a small electric radiant heater in the baseboard. If you've ever watched a successful home renovation show on TV (This Old House or HomeTime), then you have a good picture of what working with Chris is like. He guided us through the fixture selection process, setting up appointments for us with distributors and joining us for one of the visits. His employees are extremely competent, knowledgeable, and very nice people to have in your home. His cabinet maker is first-class as is the carpenter who installed the finished vanity. All in all, the work was excellent. In the end, the cost exceeded the initial estimate, but, with old houses, there are always unanticipated problems. In our case, the water damage was significantly greater than anticipated. Chris priced the solutions fairly and completed the additional work with very little delay to our expected time for completion. When we were returning our Christmas decorations to our attic, our old disappearing staircase collapsed. Chris replaced it quickly with a metal one for a very fair price. That job required some cutting and fitting, but it was a quality installation that closes and seals perfectly. So, large job or small, Chris and his employees do great work. Custom Construction and Renovations is a fantastic contractor. We have at least two more remodeling jobs at this old house and Chris will be our contractor for those. I'm very confidant that the finished product will be perfect. If you have a remodeling job, call Custom Construction and Renovations. You'll be pleased with the results

Had a minor leak from upstairs that worked its way down to the kitchen ceiling, right before Thanksgiving visitors were to arrive the next week Gave us a good estimate better than some other local repairmen. The repairman made the sheet rock repair, cleaned up, and gave us his number should any problems come up. I sprayed the popcorn back to replace the old. Can hardly tell the difference. Great job

Mr Norwak immediately started work to remove water from the flooded family room, hall,bedroom, and bathroom with laundry room. Due to his fast actions in drying and clean up, vastly limited damages to this recently renovated part of the home.Mr. Chris Norwak of Puro Clean was extremely proffesional, punctual, and compassionate to move other appt to accomadate my schedule of a funeral for my father. This was my second time using their service: the first time was due to a tree falling on my home a couple of years ago which caused substantial damage, and the most recent time was due to a hot water heater leak. On both incidents, the Service Team was always punctual, professional, honest, extremely thorough, courteous and most of all caring---from the office personnel--to each individual technician--to the owner. The entire staff was very concerned for my issue. They worked with my limited income, providing me with a very reasonable quote, without compromising on the service. I felt as though they handled my situation the same as they would have handled someone who lives in an upscale neighborhood. They made sure to wear foot coverings as to not track dirt through my home and were mindful of my home on every visit. They made sure that the job was done properly and completely. WARNING: DO NOT USER AMERICAN WATER DAMAGE IF YOU WANT YOUR PROJECTED COMPLETED. On Christmas, our upstairs bathroom tub leaked causing water damage to our first floor. Initially, American Water Damage came out and helped mitigate the problem. (That's why they get one star). There after, 5 weeks went by before the owner finally got back to me with their final estimate on fixing the issue which was ridiculous and contained over charge items. When questioned, the owner just stopped responding to me. It was not only the owner but both Jonathan and Deanna were unresponsive and did not follow through on promised items. If you want the job completed, use someone else
