Very professional and knowledgeable, Mike checked and thoroughly cleaned our gas fireplace which hadn't been used in years. They were very nice. They were timely with their estimate and cheaper than the other quotes. In the end, they said it wouldn't keep our whole house warm and it would be cheaper in our case to get a generator, and he didn't even sell generators. He pointed us towards where we needed to go. He was very kind and honest. My husband really liked him and thought he was a very nice man. He was the actual owner of the business. It took him about a week to respond to us. But when they did respond, they were very nice. They were also on time and professional. If we do decide to do any work on our fireplace, we would use him

When I called John I expected to have both fireplaces cleaned, but when he checked and said one of them did not yet need it, saving me about $150. He carefully cleaned my basement fireplace and was careful to keep the room clean and to clean up after himself. The basement fireplace needed a new damper. I was concerned that would require as special order meaning more time and $$$ but John had one that would fit in his truck and quickly installed it for a reasonable $100 fee. Following this appointment I realized I had some draft problems with my chimney and he took the time to talk me through possible solutions. Overall, I was very pleased and will continue to use his services

An incredibly positive experience. Called john he was booked until January. He then said it would be nice to have it for Xmas holidays so I will see you at 9:00 on Sunday morning,three days later. . John arrived on time ,identified himself outlined what he was going to do and proceeded to execute the job. He completed the job in about an hour and a half ,was very tidy and very well organized. John is a true gentleman and very interesting to talk to. When he left it was as if he hadn't been there. The entire experience was perfect just like we like it. We will use John again for sure. Josh was prompt, friendly and professional. He was an expert in what he was doing, and taught me a lot about my fireplace! He did a thorough inspection and cleaning, including climbing on the roof, and while he was up there he made a note of other repair issues that I might not have known about, like a couple missing shingles, and to what degree my gutters needed cleaning. This was a nice touch! He cleaned up any leftover soot from the cleaning before he left. I feel safer about using the fireplace now, and would definitely recommend Josh to anyone

Wife wasn't happy with how the door was installed in the basement, but a simple phone call and they came back and fixed it to our liking. Loved the fact that they want to make sure you're happy with the overall service and don't just forget about you as soon as they get their payment and they are done w/ the job. Feel comfortable recommending them mainly due to this reason

Have used John Budd in the past and have always been very satisfied. This time I requested a chimney cleaning and an estimate for the fire brick to be replaced. After cleaning the chimney, John informed that the fire brick did not have to be replaced only the joints needed to be repaired. When asked when that could be done, John stated that I was his last call that day, so he could perform the necessary repair at this time. It took about an additional half hour of John's time but the job was complete. I also have to mention that this provider is a very clean worker, considering that it is a super dirty job. When he departed, everything was clean and neat. Also enjoyed his conversation while he worked

It took several days for John to get back to me. He arrived on time. He's friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He cleaned and inspected the fireplace and chimney. Took out the old cast iron damper flapper and installed a new top damper (which I LOVE and should of had installed YEARS ago). He left the job very clean. Pricing wasn't cheap but reasonable. Smoke Alert is great, it is easy to schedule, they confirm everything by email and even let you know they are on the way. Very personable, explain everything clearly and since they are all firemen, they give great advice and assistance with fire safety. In the home I am purchasing the fireplace needed new panels and was cleaned. In the home I am selling, it needed to be inspected and cleaned. They did a wonderful job and I will definitely use them again! They are also very reasonably priced

We’ll worth the 3-4 week wait as Justin’s schedule stays full from so many new and returning clients! Everything went extremely well. Justin was fast to respond each time we called. We were amazed at his great prices and amazing work. He was very friendly, worked fast, and provided great pictures of before and after his repairs. Everything took around 2.5 hours start to finish when we were originally expecting 3-4. He was also exceptionally great with our dog. We will DEFINITELY be using The Chimney Sweep Experts again soon

From arrival to give us an estimate to coming back to add an extra layer of seating wall stone at no additional charge, this company was fantastic to work with. Workers were respectable, cleaned up after themselves and completed a fairly large project in a very short amount of time. Our only complaint was that they made very little effort to repair/replant the existing lawn that was damaged by heavy equipment in the process. However, they had made it very clear to us at the outset that such damage was likely and that they were not responsible for it
