I talked to many companies about this job and was very pleased with them. It was a major job and I wanted to be very sure I hired the right person. I definitely did. I would recommend Bodenheimer again.

Much earlier than I expected, much less expensive than I expected. This is the second time I've had to call these guys for semi-urgent work and I won't hesitate to call them again.

Guy P Harty Plumbing
5.0
Guy is very knowledgeable concerning plumbing issues in old houses. The work he did for me was to plumb a new addition and tie it in to the existing plumbing system. The installation was more complex than normal because of the differing floor heights between the new addition and the original structure. These differences required installing a sewage ejector and major changes to the existing structure's supply and drain piping. Guy did a very professional job for a fair price considering the amount of work he had to do. He was easy to work with and I would not hesitate to use him again

Pump broke on a Saturday night. No water to the house. Called the office phone number and left a voice mail. They called me back on Sunday morning and we set appointment for Monday @ 9:00a.m. * They offered to come out on a Sunday, but like most plumbers it was time and a half. * Workers were at the house at 9:00 a.m. and all work was completed by 10:30 a.m. It wasn't a easy job. They did a wonderful job with a great work staff. Would recommended this company

Friddle Mark Plumbing
5.0
The plumber (I think it was Mark himself) called me back promptly, arranged an appointment, and arrived when he said he would. The problem turned out to be tricky; he helped me work through the potential issues and decide on a solution without pressuring me toward the most expensive one (although we ended up picking a full replacement). The work was done carefully, and he cleaned up the area well (except for one minor smudge on the carpet). The total time was 1:00 to about 6:30, but he was gone for about 1-1.5 hours buying the pump, so total labor was probably 4 hours. The pump listed at $350, so his rate was probably about $80 an hour. The bill didn't split this out, but I thought it was reasonable for the job

Bodenheimer Plumbing Service Inc

First of all, they called and showed up when they said they would. I've dealt with other contractors who did not, so this is important to me. Andrew actually arrived a few minutes early, wearing a mask (important since this was around the first of May). He inspected the pipes, went over what needed to be done, and emailed me the estimate about two hours later. And they didn't charge me a fee to come give me an estimate. I asked for an additional quote for installing the utility sink and all that went with it and promptly received a quote for that also. On work day, they arrived when expected and immediately got to work. Andrew and I went over the installation of the utility sink and he offered a better solution for the same price. The work went quickly, the crew was courteous, and the clean up afterwards was fantastic. As always happens with any project of any size, they encountered a few problems created by the prior installers. Andrew went over the problems and explained what needed to be done. I felt comfortable that the work needed to be done and was not just some random add-on to the price. They completed the work on the sewer main on Friday afternoon and we scheduled a time for them to come back and finish the sink installation, with the possibility they might be able to get back earlier, which they did. The final bill was higher than the original estimate, but I was satisfied that I was not being overcharged for the additional work. I would like to mention a couple of other things that impressed me. The first is that Andrew stopped by several times during the day to make sure the work was going well and to see if his crew needed anything. He also brought them lunch so they wouldn't have to go off-site, delaying getting my bathrooms operational again. I had another contractor whose crew was here for five days. I saw the supervisor once. The other is that I had a question a couple of days after the job was completed. I emailed Andrew and he promptly called me back, even though an email would have been fine. Bodenheimer did a good job for me at what I thought was a good price

Hayden & Sons Plumbing

Called them on Thursday and they said they could do the work on Friday. They called me ahead of time to say they were on the way and got here about 2 hours before their time estimate on Thursday. They quickly removed the pump and determined the impeller of the pump was broken, which they showed me. They noted the pump was an off brand pump and recommended a zoeller pump. They replaced the pump quickly and left no mess behind. I would have no hesitation in using these guys again and recommend them to our friends. It's always good to know good plumbers

SPRINKLE SEPTIC TANK CO
5.0
We called 2 other companies that told us just to pump our septic tank to clear the dark water/odor on our property. We hired the one to do so and the problem continued, they couldn't tell us what was wrong. And they weren't shy to give us all sorts of expensive quotes to come with a bobcat and dig to find out. We called Sprinkle Septic and he came out and brought along his bobcat, dug a hole in the wet area to investigate and told us they couldn't touch it any further as it seemed that the entire system was plugged and needed to be redone. We would need to call the county to inspect and draw up new plans first. He did that at no charge and advised us then the steps to take to get the job done. We followed Mr Sprinkle's advice, he was 100% correct with how things would play out, regardless whether we would be hiring him to do the job despite his time and advice. What a sweet, honest man. Once the county inspected our drain field, we hired Mr Sprinkle to redo the entire system. He gave us a to-the-penny quote without any and quot;funny businessand quot; added in :) He and his sons were amazing, our lot is heavily wooded and they didn't touch a single tree with their large heavy equipment, not to meniton they did a great clean up job when they were done....the enTIRe front yard had been torn apart !! We would recommend Sprinkle Septic for ANY and ALL septic system issues, they are true-blue, honest, hardworking, and did I mention HONEST?? Thank you!! Since that project, we have since had them back to do add'l. work --- they have pumped the tank and replaced the pump as well. They were just as great to work with on that smaller project. We called one morning, they showed up within the hour with all the equipment they needed to get the job done and voila! that was it. Thank you!

Guy P Harty Plumbing

Punctual, efficient, honest, and professional. Original repair estimate was $700 based upon having to replace a pump. Upon examination, found pump was OK and system needed only a backflow preventer valve. He could have easily replaced the pump and charged me $700, but he was honest and found there was no need to replace the pump, saving me over $500 in potential repair costs

Clayton Well & Pump Service
5.0
My well pump quit pumping leaving my household waterless except for the emergency gallon jugs we keep in the basement for just such an event. If you've ever gone without water service for even a short time, you know how quickly this sort of inconvenience turns to downright depravation. No dishes get done, no clothes get clean, no bodies get showered and no toilets get flushed without special efforts. Need a reminder of how much water you use every day? Lug some gallon jugs of water around the house to facilitate the functions of your plumbing. (Here's a tip should you find yourself in Waterless World?if it's yellow, let it mellow.) After testing the pressure switch to see if the problem was an easy fix and finding the answer to be no, I googled for a well and pump service near me. My search returned Clayton Well and Pump Service. I did an additional search for client reviews of this company and Angie's List came up, but I wasn't a member so I couldn't access the reviews. Now I think I can fix most little household breakdowns myself and the last time my well pump went out about five years ago I decided to fix it myself. Four days and about 1,200 dollars later plus a dose of lower back pain that still stabs me when I so much as think about pulling that pump 200 feet out of the ground, my well was working again. Yea me. And that was enough. My well and pump career is over. So I paid the $3.95 for a month of Angie's List and looked up Clayton Well and Pump Service. This company has 10 reviews and they're all great. I call about 3 in the afternoon. Grayson and Danny show up at 4:30, test the wiring and diagnose the problem as either a broken wire or a burned out pump. They break out their pump puller, pull the pump and right at the pump, where I had neglected to secure the wire to the pipe, the wire is broken from rubbing against the well casing when the pump cycled. One more good reason my well and pump career was short. Grayson and Danny quickly spliced the wire and taped it to the pipe as they lowered the pump back into the well. By 5:30 my water was back on and they were down the pike. Super service. Great guys. Great price. When I have well and pump problems in the future, I'm calling Clayton Well and Pump Service and you should too

Hogan'S Well Repair
5.0
Well pump was short-cycling. I thought that it was a bad pressure tank, but Hogan's came promptly on a Saturday (no upcharge for Saturdays), and determined that there was a leak in the pipe pulling water from the well. They also determined that my pressure tank was fine. They replaced the leaking pipe and because the pump was 16 years old, I had them replace that as well. Price to replace pipe and pump was $1,200. Evidently that is the norm for this type of service

Quality Service Today Plumbing

Nothing in my home was draining, so I called quality service today out, they sent out a technician who after further investigation determined that my septic tank was full, he was able to schedule me to get my tank pumped same day, Jeremy came out and did a thorough assessment of my septic system, offered me multiple options on different levels of cleaning and maintenance and has even set me up to have all the buried lines inspected via camera at no extra charge, these guys are the best, same day service by people you enjoy having in your home

All Star Plumbing

The tech came out and provided me an estimate. He noted that my pump ran the entire he was there, but he found no leaks nor running water anywhere. He felt that there may be a pump issue. I had that checked out and ended up having to get a new pump, which cleared up the orange water issue that I thought was caused by the galvanized pipes. So, I did not hire All Star to do any work for me at this time. But, IF I need plumbing done, I would call All Star again.:

Very response was at my home 30 minutes from the time of my call. Had to order the pump was back on site at 8AM the next morning complete by noon. Final price was price quoted.
I used this company for a Big Deal and after the Big Deal, I had them back out to instal a sump pump and insulation to the basement. We are really impressed with this company.
Very pleasant experience with everyone that performed services, Oscar, Andrew and Antoni very professional. They went above and beyond and explained everything in lay mans terms, so I could understand what was being performed.
Tar Heel Basement Systems has been great to work with. Our basement used to flood with even a tiny amount of rain. After spending hours pumping out water, we realized there had to be a better way. Since our original pump installment, we've had a few issues due to the abnormally large amount of water that flows into our basement. Each time (three in total), Tar Heel Basement Systems has fixed these issues promptly and at no cost to us. They firmly stand behind their work and put customer satisfaction high on their priority list. They will ensure that water stays out of your basement
Our house is in a low area, and so for many years we have had a problem with water standing in parts of the crawl space during wet season. Sometimes water would stand for several months at a time. This happened every year in spring and sometimes in late fall or winter. Master Dry recommended two sump pumps at each end of the crawl space, drainage lines along the foundation feeding the sump pumps, an extended drainage line outside the house to carry water away from the foundation, and plastic ground cover in the crawl space. The installation went smoothly and quickly and everything was done right the first time. It has now been over a year since the installation and I have had time to see how it works during wet season. The sump pump keeps the crawl space bone dry. The pump itself is extremely quiet and you hardly even know it's there. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. As an added bonus, when the installers got to work digging, they noticed from the soil condition that I really didn't need the second pump as was initially thought, so they dropped that from the contract, saving me $1000. That was very honest of them; I would never have known the difference

Our house bib burst and water was just pouring out of a light fixture in our finished basement. I called our home warranty service and they sent Scott Plumbing over the next day. Unfortunately, house bibs aren't covered in our warranty and we had to pay a $60 service call per the warranty, but Robert (the plumber) said that we could apply that service call to the repair bill. We set up for him to come the following Tuesday and fix the bib. The allotted time came and went, and Robert called saying that he had underestimated a previous job and would be an hour late. An hour came and went, and Robert called back saying that he was terribly sorry but he could not get to our home that day due to a problem at the job he was on. He was very apologetic and asked when it would be convenient to me for him to come. The only time I had available was an evening after 5:30, but he said he would be there. He should up on time and got the job completed, making very little intrusion in to our finished basement ceiling. He made sure we were satisfied with the work and apologized repeatedly for the delay. His frankness and cordiality definitely won him my business and he is the only plumber that I will ever use
Professional, responsive, customer orientated, personable. Yadkin Well provided prompt service and provided excellent communication as the well was drilled (I was not on property) regarding well depth, output and recommendations on to drill deeper or not. While I rated Yadkin in the middle with regard to price, it is the quality of their work that discriminates Yadkin from other drillers. Specifically Yadkin has the equipment inventory necessary to handle any job. Their attention to detail and professional approach was outstanding. If you want quality service at a fair price I recommend Yadkin well
Brandon Plumbing & Pump Services did a perfect work. They were very punctual. Their estimate was fair and their work was excellent. Their professionalism was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. I would use them again in the future.
THIS COMPANY WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. OUR PUMP WENT OUT ON CHRISTMAS DAY. WE CALLED THIS MAN ON THAT DAY AND HE CAME OUT THE DAY AFTER. HE DID A GOOD JOB AND WE WERE VERY THANKFUL.
I live in an old house and consequently I have had lots of plumbing issues. As always, Bobby arrived promptly (on a Saturday afternoon). He set to work and realized the drain would have to be augured. He went to pick up his assistant and equipment. They came back promptly and they spent about 45 minutes rodding out the pipes. Once they finished, they cleaned up their work area and left. Bobby has done 4 or 5 jobs for me and I have never had a problem. He is a great guy
Since he was already in Lexington doing another job, he came an hour earlier than scheduled. I wasn't home, but he waited until I got there. He was very nice and polite. It didn't take him long to complete the job. I was very satisfied with his work.
Called Michael around noon on Sunday 12/13/2015. He arrived a little after 2 pm the same day. Completed the work in just over an hour, including giving me an estimate for future proposed work. Michael is very professional and his pricing is excellent. He works quickly and neatly, and he is a nice guy. He does the work himself and is very thorough. It has taken me thirteen years to find a plumber I can trust and I think Michael is that plumber
It went very well. Jamie and his crew did a very good job of installing and cleaning up - replaced the pine needle mulch and reinstalled the brick so that the area looked as if it had not been touched. They also hauled away all of the old debris. We discussed potential drainage work in our back patio/backyard area, and if we find that work is required we'll definitely call Jamie

What do customers in Winston Salem say about Sewage Ejector Pump Installation?
Took about 1 hour. Charged a flat fee for doing the work. The pump could be bought at the supply house for $320. Would not break the bill down in materials and labor. Very disappointed in this company.
