Work was done in a professional and timely manner. New roof looks great. Workers were professional and did a great job installing the shingles and cleaning up the old shingles.

They performed the work exactly as estimated and were completed much faster than expected with outstanding clean up and follow through. The estimator (owner) recommended the type of shingle and color based on the house, existing roof color, and neighborhood. His recommendation was the one we agreed on, and he was obviously right as the new roof looks great! We realize we may have paid more than if the roof had been replaced by a competitor, but felt since our roof is the first level of defense against the elements, quality was the primary consideration - which All About Roofing is known for.

Rich was very professional, responsive and provided the detail quote I was looking for. His workers were prompt, performed excellent work, courteous and did a nice job cleaning the yard upon completion of their work. I would recommend contacting Rich if you need new roof shingles for your home.

Our roof was damaged by a severe thunderstorm. The roofing specialist came out evaluated our roof. He was very knowledgeable. He did not try to "bully" us into anything we did not need. He was very helpful to us when we needed our roof replaced. The roofing crew was just amazing. They worked in such unbearable heat. They worked like a well oiled machine. When the job was completed, they had hauled off the old shingles, boards and especially the nails. All the guys were polite, professional, courteous and took great pride in the work they had done. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

The roofing on the main house took 2 and a half days. They started early in the day and left at suppertime. We had many choices in shingles and the new architectural shingles look great. They cleaned up after themselves. They were responsive to our every concern. As a sidebar, I asked Mr. Routh if he would also fix the roof on my rather large shed. They did a wonderful job - reframing the roof and adding a new wood roof, shingles and siding. I had companies quote me thousands of dollars to do this job and United Roofing was very reasonable and again was attentive to my every concern.

I waiting to write this till after a good rain event for review. My experience went great. They were done in 2 days as promised with stripping roof down to the bare boards, removing debris and reinstalling new roof system. Gutter guards were put on about 2 weeks later. Glad to have a detailed estimate in writing on work to be done. Just inspected attic today after 12 hours of wind and rain from the remains of Hurricane Irma. Nice and dry throughout including around the troublesome chimney and vent pipe areas. Very pleased.

Art Hudgins was very professional. He was informative & transparent in detailing his services. He arrived 1 hour prior to the work crew & facilitated the unloading of the roofing materials. His contracted crew arrived on time & followed his directions. The job took a day and a half. The old roofing material was hauled away & the work site was cleaned up nicely. I was very pleased with their work & feel I got an excellent roof replacement for a reasonable price. I would recommend Art to anyone needing a roof shingle replacement.

Our leaking roof was about 10 years overdue for repair and shingle replacement. Mr. Sluss provided a transparent and accurate estimate of the process, length of project, and costs. Mr. Sluss is professional and courteous. I also found his foreman and team members respectful and efficient. Most importantly, they knew their work -- they identified problems, made me aware and sought my go ahead, and then professionally implemented repairs. I am very pleased with the look of our new roof and quality of their work.

Both the owner and the installation crew members wanted to know what I expected and made sure I was happy. Details: After years of repairing my existing, poorly installed, shingle roof myself, I decided to replace it with a new metal roof and to be very involved in the details of the installation. I found several metal roof manufacturer's installation instructions on line and contacted four roofing contractors. When each one came to call, I asked how they recommended that the new metal roof be installed. Two of the four, recommended that the old single roof be left in place and the new metal roof be installed on top of it. Despite their low price quotes, I discounted them. Of the remaining two, one contractor's representative was unable to provide details about the metal roof installation process. Jeremy, of this company, confidently answered all my questions and sent me a very detailed quote. Drawing from the manufacturer's instructions, I added even more details, he approved them, and we signed a contract. On installation day, Jeremy accompanied the crew, brought along a copy of our detailed contract and reviewed it with the foreman before leaving. Despite watching the installation process, after the crew left, I identified what I believed to be the improper placement of a small number of screws. The following day, Jeremy agreed to apply additional calk to those screws. Throughout the process, all employees were pleasant and professional. The only (small) issue I can identify concerns communication. When I signed the contact, Jeremy told me that the work would be scheduled to be performed in about a month. The work was actually performed twelve weeks later. I was in no hurry, so the timing was no issue. However, after the initial scheduled date passed, I would have liked for them to have initiated contact to keep me up to date on the schedule.

Art, who runs Hearthside Exteriors, is very punctual and quick to respond. He was able to get his crew out rather quickly, which is why I hired them. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't a new roof that I needed. The leak was actually coming in through my chimney which was determined while the work was being done. One other roofing contractor I had come out to give me an estimate had correctly suspected that the leak may have been through the chimney and didn't think it was the roof that was leaking. So, I gave Hearthside a lower score for professionalism. If Art suspected it could have been the chimney, I wish he had said so. I spent all my money on the new roof and now cannot afford someone to do the chimney. So, I had to do the chimney myself. Since I am not a mason, the chimney may still leak. So, although I have a new roof and 'repaired' chimney crown, I may still have a leak. I am not happy about that uncertainty. I also had an obsolete sewer vent from the old kitchen sink going through the roof that I wanted cut off and covered over by the new roof. I pointed this out to Art, but when they did the work, they left the obsolete vent in place. At least they put a new boot around it. However, I needed it cut off flush to the roof and capped over. The current cap on the obsolete vent is less than a year old and is already cracked. So, although I have a new roof, I still have hole through it and still need to do something about it and, since I can't trust a contractor to do it nor do I have the money for a contractor, I need to do it... So, I gave them a lower score for responsiveness. They did not respond to all my roofing needs. I feel like I wasted $3600 on a roof that I didn't need and it didn't even solve all the roofing problems I had.
