I chose Hedgecock company through Angie's list because of its high rating, and I called him. He responded immediately. I called other competitors but they didn't respond to me. Actually, they promised to call but they didn't. I appreciated the responsiveness of Hedgecock. I asked a lot of questions about the recess lights and I asked him to come over for second time to show me what kind of lights he will install. So he came for second time to inform me. He took him one day to do 90% of his job. The next day he had to buy a new socket for the recess light and that's why it took two days to complete the work. He did an excellent job. I put N/A in his pricing because I didn't have the chance to compare his price with others; but he honored the 10% off coupon that had posted in Angie's List.

Aaron was polite over the phone. We scheduled an appointment. and he came over to provide a quote. He 'hedged' on just about every aspect of the work - "if x were to happen, we are not responsible... if x-1 were to happen, we are not responsible either... and not even if x-2 happened..., no sir!". It's good to be upfront, but this was frustrating. Irrespective, we explained what needed to be done and asked for a quote. We never even got that.

Fred with eWire was courteous, professional, and carefully evaluted our needs for updated lighting in our kitchen. I worked with him on lighting placement for the recessed lights and pendants. He was able to adjust and overcome obstacles when the initial placement of the lights had interference from the ceiling joints and plumbing from above. We were also impressed at how clean he left the jobsite everyday. The final result is spectacular and has transformed the look of our kitchen - we love the simple act of just turning on the lights to look at it. Excellent! Manoli and his crew were courteous, respectful, competent and did excellent work. They did all of the plumbing for my new kitchen, installed tile backsplash and installed recessed lighting. They worked on the weekend which was great for me and they cleaned up every day. When we purchased our home there were two recess lights over the cabinets in the kitchen desk area. These lights were directly over the cabinets and served no purpose. They needed to be relocated so the lights could actually give illumination to the desk area. Roby Electric did just that. Kept the work area covered for easy clean up. Used the ceiling drywall cutout from the new location to cover area were the lights were originally. Of course this area will need to be plastered and painted but their work will make it less costly in the end.

Recent Review: It went very well! Thad installed lights on the side and back of the house. He also repaired one of my electrical sockets indoors(at no charge) and one outdoors. He kept coming back to ensure that the outside motion sensor lights were angled the way I wanted them and adjusted the sensitivity until it was perfect. I would definitely hire him again the next time I need any electrical work done.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Richard is incredibly efficient and exacting- Other reviews say "meticulous," and I agree. At the end of every day, Richard was sure to clean up and leave all areas neat. He allowed the kitchen to be as useable as possible. He made great recommendations and suggestions. Before adding molding to the ceiling, he had to remove 27 yr old wallpaper border. He did this easily and seemed to have the molding up in no time. I had some very plain, unfinished-looking areas on cabinets and walls that he enhanced with molding, as well. In order to install the backsplash I wanted, he had to take out a cabinet above the microwave so he did this, raised the microwave, and made a box for a future wine rack above the microwave with left-over room. He installed new backsplashes beautifully. Some of the cabinet doors were a bit crooked and the counters were not level. He fixed them, as well. Richard and an electrician friend of his installed canned lighting in the ceiling, added pendant lights, and changed out the chandelier. They also installed under counter lighting and moved outlets for more convenience. Incidentally, they also installed a ceiling fan in a bedroom. Richard has also done many other jobs for me. Recently, he installed a hot tub on my deck, replaced rotten boards, painted the deck, and secured it underneath for the weight of the tub. He installed new railings, as well. Richard power washed the area, including my deck cushions. Richard is as non-invasive as possible by being as quiet as the job allows and by being courteous in manner and approach. He is polite, well-spoken, and seems to enjoy challenging jobs. He is not passive in his thinking, but rather he is always problem-solving and engaged. He wants the customer to be happy with the job he has done. He is happy when he can walk away knowing his customer is satisfied-who wouldn't want someone like him working for them! Richard has family members who can help him when the job calls for more than one person ( such as installing a hot tub). His daughter is a handy-woman by profession and he has sons who help him at times.
Recent Review: Everything went great. Price was as agreed, no surprises at the end of job. The electrician (Eduardo) showed up on time (even calling to confirm he was on the way and expected time of arrival), was very professional, diligent, and hard working throughout completion of the job; a great representation for the the company. I definitely recommend using the services of Roby Electric LLC, and will use the company again for other projects
