While he claimed to be Pergo's choice troubleshooter, his attention to detail was careless and sloppy. The molding was poorly done with nails sticking out of the molding or large sections where the molding was not tacked down at all. The Pergo Floor install is a floating floor; however, he would cut boards short and leave gaps that could not be covered up by the molding. He did a terrible job for the most part around the heat vents in the floor, sometimes just knocking out the opening with a hammer and chisel - not a smooth clean cut. He and his crew left a terrible mess behind, reconnected the washer hoses incorrectly, rehung doors incorrectly to where I had doors that wouldn't close. He left heat vents out. He left a big gap behind the dryer after I paid the gas company to turn off the gas. He did not take the floor all the way to within a quarter inch of the wall. He would not come back and fix his mistakes. I would not recommend him to anyone. His work is inferior.

The wood floors installed were beautiful but did not quite match the existing wood floors which is common when trying for a perfect match. The existing wood floors were refinished and match perfectly.

Booby did an excellent job. I had badly warped kitchen floors from a previous owner. He was able to sand down the floors and make them look brand new again. Other companies tried to talk me into replacing the floors, but he was confident that he could make the floors look like new again. Very happy with my experience, and would highly recommend their services.

Yan's Hardwood Floors
When I bought my house I never would have imagined that the hardwood floors could ever look as good as they do now. Yan and his team were great, extremely polite, and always working as hard as possible to make sure the floors looked perfect. PATTERSON CARPETS INC
Since I worked with Patterson Carpet on an earlier project and was pleased with the work, I contacted Eddy Patterson regarding the quality of a pre-finished, engineered floor or a finished onsite floor. He provided a lot of information which I further investigated. We decided that a pre-finished floor met our needs as far as thickness of the wood, ease of installation and the reduction in the mess. A finished onsite floor would have been difficult with us living in the home at the time. The materials were ordered and delivered as promised. Mr. Patterson and his crew worked hard to make the transition from the wood flooring to the slate entry way smooth. It is always difficult to match old floor to the new but they did a nice job.

Recent Review: The crew that came to replace the carpet with the floors were great! They realized that our floors were not level with the rest of the hardwood floors and that our sub floors needed to be replaced. Instead of charging us more money, they stuck to the quote! They and quot;ateand quot; the cost and replaced the sub floors without charging us. The final product looked FANTASTIC!!!! However, we did have a couple of minor concerns. The area around our fireplace did look right..............it didn't seem to and quot;flowand quot;. The new hardwood floors stopped where our brick fireplace started and it just didn't look right. After talking to Seth and Mr. Weeks, they came out to our house, looked at our concerns and fixed the problem! We also had a problem with a very small section of our older hardwoods. When the crew placed the last board of the new hardwoods, they and quot;knickedand quot; a little piece out of the adjacent wood in a doorway. NO PROBLEM! Weeks came back out and sanded both the new and the old area.............GOOD AS NEW!!! The final product................GREAT!!!!! Looks fantastic! We are very happy!

Super Service Award Recent Review: All of this was accomplished long distance, as we were in the process of moving to NC from PA, a 9 hour distance away from our new home. We took a leap of faith with John and the results were outstanding! John answered our request for service promptly, went to see the job with our relator, asked multiple questions and also provided extremely helpful suggestions on how to best approach the job. His estimate was very fair and he stayed right in budget, no surprises. Even with an extremely tight time frame for the work to be completed, John immediately made us feel that we were in good hands. John also had to work around other specialties (painters, flooring pros) as we were having other work done at the same time. The work was completed right on time, as promised. We could not be more pleased with the results. The end product matched the vision of how our house would look. We were able to move right in and begin enjoying our new home. We highly recommend John and Innovative Design. As a matter of fact, we already have him scheduled for more work this Spring.
