I had a faulty lightswitch after 15 years of use that was making crackling sounds and occasionally producing a spark. I called Marty after seeing a number of excellent reviews on Angie's List. I just happened to catch him at a time where he had a window of availability to come out to my home to take a look. He immediately found the problem with the switch and its contact pad, and installed a new switch. I received an Angie's List discount on my bill on the already fair service call price. I will definitely be calling Hedgecock Electric again for any future electrical jobs at my home

The only problem was that the electrician sent to do the job got mixed up with his schedule somehow and showed up two hours late. Usually it is not a problem however, I took personal time from work to accommodate Bretco's normal work day which ends at 4:30. The electrician made it right for us though. He and his partner were very polite and professional. They repaired the fault quickly and did not charge us for the switch and wall plate as a courtesy for being late. We used their Angie's List discount ($118.00 for 2 hours of service.) and it was well worth it. I would definitely call them again if needed

Our 1960s house had some strange wiring in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom that probably came about when a renovation took place. The bathroom is shared between 2 bedrooms and the light switch inside controlled half of the electrical outlets and one light switch for the closet in the bedroom. Meaning that the bathroom light had to be on to use 2 of the outlets (which are used for bedside lamps and there is no overhead lighting in this room) as well as the closet light. Fred was able to fix the issue and now we can use those outlet/switches normally
