T&C Concrete Repair

He cheated my elderly neighbor out of a lot of money. It took him over a month to get the work done. He tore the driveway up to where we couldn't park for a month. When he finally got it done, there was spot where the concrete where it should have been that holds water. Concrete is suppose to 4 inches thick. It is already cracking across the driveway and there is a chunk of the concrete broken up, and you can tell it is not even an inch thick. (It's suppose to be four inches minimal). He never cut in the expansion joints and we had to pay someone else to come and cut them for the concrete to expand properly. We also found out he has multiple law suits against him in doing this to other people

We absolutely love our new stamped patio just off our deck that Tony & his brothers did for us! They were very professional, cleaned up, were here when they said they would and finished on time as promised. He called me numerous times to ask questions and explain what they were doing, etc. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them. We got the stamped patio and it's beautiful. I will upload pictures once we finish the landscaping (hopefully later today:

When I called initially, he answered the phone with no greeting - just, "Can I call you back?" When he did call back that evening, he seemed extremely casual, like he wasn't that interested in earning my business. I explained what I wanted done, and he said he would need to come over to see it, and the only time he could come would be 8 a.m. in the morning, and the only day that would work for him that week would be the next morning. Since I worked nights, this meant that I would be getting up in the middle of my night to meet him. He called me ten minutes before he was supposed to arrive, and kept me on the phone, asking me for directions until he arrived at the house. He was pleasant, and I explained to him what I wanted done. He asked his first question designed to make the job more lucrative for him - who's doing the stone work for the steps? I explained that a family friend was doing it. He feigned interest, said he was looking for someone to work on his fence at home, and how much was my friend charging? He asked me that twice. I got the distinct sense he was trying to figure out what I was willing to pay, or that he was going to try and outbid it. I showed him that I had several bags of instant concrete already, and he said "No, no, no - for a job like this, we need to use concrete from the concrete plant. This stuff will crumble after a short time." But I had had the rest of the porch built with the same concrete a year before, and it still looked great. He told me that it would cost $200 just to have the concrete delivered from the plant. (I called the local plant later, and they gave me an $80 estimate.) He seemed genuinely interested in what I was planning to do with the landscaping and porch, and offered some good suggestions that showed me that he was experienced in concrete work and landscaping. When I asked how he would do the work, he explained that he and his relatives would come over and do the steps in one day. (This seemed impossible to me, since first the forms would need to be built, then the concrete needs to harden, then it needs to be cleaned and polished in order to have stone laid on it.) He gave me an estimate of $1000!! but that was just if the project took one day. It would be an additional $500 or so for each additional day. I asked him if he would do the work, and he said he would supervise. Overall I felt he was money driven and manipulative, and he didn't feel like my small project was worth his time. I ended up getting someone else to do both the steps and the stone work for a $300 flat rate, and it took them three days to do the concrete - one for each step of the process

I'm new to the area and called Neil when I found water pouring into the crawlspace of my new house whenever it rained. Neil came out with a member of his team and introduced himself and explained what they planned to look for based on my description. I led himself and his employee down to the crawl area and showed them the water entry point. I also voiced my concerns that on my inspection report when purchasing the house, they mentioned that the support pillars underneath had endured some erosion. While showing all of this to Neil, he noticed mold spots that were missed previously and suggested we do a mold test. He sent it out and within 24 hours the results had been returned with an unfortunate cocktail of mold. Neil went to work immediately that week and sprayed down my crawlspace thoroughly, as well as put down a brand new vapor barrier. All throughout the week he inspected the work to ensure everything was going according to plan. Once the mold had been remediated, he and his staff returned to the house within a few days time to begin the structural work which included pouring concrete and putting in new structural supports. The house ended up needing more work than we initially anticipated, but he was more than willing to work with us in the matter. He and his employee's were professional, friendly and supportive throughout the entire ordeal and they did their best to not interrupt my daily routine. They offer great work and I look forward to using their services in the future. I would recommend them to anyone looking for work similar to my own

I've been involved with residential construction for many years. During that time I've seen many concrete jobs preformed by people who call themselves professionals. They need to watch Lou and his crew if they really want to see professionals pour concrete. Lou come out a few days before to assess the work we needed and offered ideas along with ways to get the concrete behind our house. I have had two other companies say they couldn't get the concrete to the location we needed it because of a steep slope around a retaining wall that leads to the patio we needed poured. Lou was not even phased by this hurdle! He came out the next day with a "Georgia-Buggy" which looks like a shopping cart on steroids designed specifically for transporting large volumes of concrete in and around areas where trucks are unable to go. In less than an hour, Lou and his crew, Big-Joe, Edgar and the Rev had poured 18+/- yards of concrete perfectly, paying special attention to slope our patio in a manor that would exit the water away from our house. I can go on and on about our experience we had with Lou Sullivan but that would take too long, so I'll just recap by saying this. If you need an honest hard working professional crew that has a passion for working with concrete and an even stronger passion for doing a remarkable job, call Lou Sullivan at Carolina Decorative Concrete. I promise you will not be disappointed

Tony Medina and Medina Concrete did an excellent job! He did exactly what he said he'd do, did it exactly when he said he would, and the result is a beautiful addition to our property. I gladly give Tony Medina an A rating and I will recommend him highly to anyone I meet who needs concrete work. Thank you. Thomas H. Hinto
Work quality was very good. Poor communication skills - did not get all of the precise materials requested. Some shelf placements were impractical. Jen promised to provide an additional day to compensate, but she has refused to honor her committment.
Mr Goldston and his son Chris and crew did an excellent job from start to finish. They were very attentive to our requests and went out of their way to accommodate all of the details that we requested. Quality of work is excellent from excavation, creating forms, pouring and finishing. We are very happy with the job they did. They are friendly, professional and detail oriented. A very high recommendatio
