I was looking for a replacement countertop (from laminate to granite or quartz). Wow there are a lot of guys that will do this and a lot of choices. I choose Prostone for their price. Had them install a popular low cost quartz countertop and sink. $45 / sq ft. was really the best price I found. The install was OK, one piece was not cut exactly right (they said my walls / counters were not level and square), so they cut into the drywall to try and get it to fit. In the end it looks good, but took extra work on my part to fix the wall. Also, if you want to get a better look at granite (styles?) go to the distributor's store 1st and pick out what you want, then go to the counter top guys and have them quote install of that style

Tim had redone a kitchen at my neighbor's home and it was gorgeous and I was in the middle of reconfiguring my bathroom and he was the perfect person to replace the countertops. He brought me samples of different quartz and granite and explained the pros and cons of each as well as the cost. I am extremely indecisive, yet Tim understood and was great to work with. His work is PERFECT! I was so pleased with the bathroom counters that I replaced the kitchen countertops a few months later. He made the process so easy. I picked out my slab, told him the edging and sink I wanted and he took care of the rest. He always showed up on time and there were no hidden costs- I paid him exactly what he quoted me. There are no middlemen with Countertop Solutions. Tim will show you samples, make templates and install your countertops. He is very easy to work with and you will be very pleased with the finished product

PIEDMONT SURFACES OF THE TRIAD LLC

I was very satisfied with the experience. Piedmont Surfaces installed several granite countertops in my home over 10 years ago. The kitchen countertop cracked due to a bad install. Pam didn't own the company at the time, but she came to my house, sized up the situation, and basically replaced it for cost. She had no obligation to do that because she didn't own the business when the work was done. I found them to be professional, caring, and willing to deal with a bad situation in a most caring way. I would use them again and will recommend them highly to others

Countertop Solutions

Countertop Solutions was recommended to me by a neighbor. Once I contacted Tim, he came to my home and worked directly with me to determine my interests and to help make my ideas become reality. Tim and team have replaced my kitchen countertops with new quartz countertops, installed tile backsplash in the kitchen and around my fireplace, and installed hardwood floors in my living and dining areas. Tim was very accommodating and always responsive to any questions I had. The work was completed in a timely manner and the quality of the work was impeccable. He was very professional throughout the process and upfront with the costs and time frame for completion. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. I have recommended Countertop Solutions to friends and will continue to do so in the future

TRIAD CABINET COMPANY INC

We contacted Triad Cabinet Co. to have our kitchen countertops replaced from laminate to engineered stone. Our kitchen is very small. It wasn't a big job for Triad Cabinet but they were responsive, courteous and accommodating. Leon and Eddie were very patient with us in selecting a material for our countertops. Once selected, the process for measuring, ordering and installing was actually very pleasant. They did what they said they were going to do and were always professional and accessible. It is really difficult to make a decision about such a permanent item and I tried desperately to get them to make my decision for me but they remained professional and answered my questions but ultimately, I had to decide. The installation went seamlessly and the installers reflected the professionalism and courtesy of Triad Cabinet. We are thrilled with the final product and highly recommend Triad Cabinet Co

I learned of this company through a friend who had her countertops replaced and cabinets refaced which all turned out absolutely beautiful. We decided to go with the Cambria Bradshaw and Countertop Solutions has already completed the installation of our new kitchen countertops. We are saving for a full cabinet refacing and new flooring which I hope to begin the first of the year and am look forward to working with this company on both. I really enjoyed the experience because we dealt with the owner from the beginning to the end of the project. He brought samples with him to our home which saved me from having to make several trips to a showroom. The installation was done in one day which also included the tear out and removal of our old countertops in addition to the installation of our new sink (which he provided) and all the necessary plumbing. I can not say enough about how professional and stress free this experience was for my husband and I. We are extremely happy with our new countertops and I can not find one negative aspect to this remodel

Marble Granite World

This is probably the most painful review that I have ever had to leave. It’s most painful because the process was so easy and we were SO sure to have made the right choice. Our Sales Associate was amazing. They had a great selection. We were able to quickly obtain a sample. I could go on and on about why I thought this was going to be the most amazing experience. But then it happened. Generally speaking, I wish that there was more “coaching” for getting ready for templating with an older home. The old cabinets were not level. As a matter of fact, they were way out of level. That’s on us. MGW was able to re-schedule our template appointment, which was wonderful. Still, we have nearly ½” gaps between the wall and the countertop due to “old walls”. Okay, that’s on us. We gave them our sink, showed them our existing cooktop and followed all other instructions. They measured the cooktop and took the model number. On installation day, the hole was measured, the cooktop was measured, again. All seemingly great news until my electrician arrives to install the cooktop and the hole is too big. He has to build a smaller square to support the glass cooktop that was solely resting with fractions of inches of support from the countertop. I am told by one of the owners that it “meets specifications” and “is normal” since it’s not “falling through the hole”. “Unless it’s falling through the hole, we did our job.” This was his “hill”! He stood aggressively firm in that they did everything right and in, over, 40 years this has never been an issue. So, again, we the homeowners and, now, the manufacture specs are at fault. When I tell you that I was shocked by his behavior and unwillingness, not only to, own any fault whatsoever, but blatant disregard for customer service; it’s probably an understatement. He was so defensive and self-assured at the same time. Fortunately, for me, my electrician is also a trim carpenter. I didn’t need MGW to take ownership or be responsible for these minor failures, but my hope was that they would so that I did not have to write this ending to the story. So that I don’t have to look elsewhere for future projects. Literally one person stands in the way of a GREAT referral, but I am reminded that people make, or break, the difference. Not the CNC machine, not the manufacturer specs and certainly not the belief that fractions of inches is sufficient support for a glass cooktop. You know, the thing that you rest heavy pots and pans on (up to 4 at a time). But what do I know? Clearly. UPDATE: I contemplate deeply before writing a review and only to the extent that it’s helpful for others. I hope that it rings true here. I took some time over the weekend to meet with the owner that I spoke to by phone earlier in the week. I was reminded that on two separate occasions, he came out to make some minor repairs to the countertop after install. Within the day, on separate days, he was able to come to our home to make the repair. It certainly reminded me why we chose MGW in the first place. It was a little more expensive than what we were originally considering, but it was worth it. The consideration to update my zero-star review to a four-star review is that IF this problem had not already been resolved, and irrespective of “responsibility”, I believe that MGW would have worked to make a better solution to secure the cooktop. This cooktop was existing to the house when we purchased it, but the previous homeowners purchased it in 2015. So, I wouldn’t consider it ancient. Still, it needed further consideration and I believe that this served as a learning experience

Arrived on time and completed efficiently with no unpleasant surprises. Mr. Bowen arranged for a plumber to reconnect the sink and timed this perfectly. Also made sure that countertops lined up with existing tile backsplash and matched caulking to prevent a gap between the tile and new countertops. Would definitely hire again

This company installed our cabinets and countertops and from the beginning we had problems. The measurements were taken incorrectly for the cabinets and we had to make changes that were not totally satisfying to us but we compromised with SI and gave them the job. Second, we had our countertop crack which they replaced, but now the other counter is cracked and we are having a difficult time getting someone to come back and fix that. It appears that now SI has our money, they don't want to stand behind their product and take care of their Customers. We have reached out to them several times with no luck. We want them to stand behind their product and replace our counter which is cracke

This is the third installation job and the second house they have done for me. They did kitchen countertops in this and a previous home. The bathrooms were the latest job. Their customer responsiveness and quality of product and installation are unbeatable!

Marble Granite World

Our experience with Marble Granite World was wonderful. They were very helpful, without being pushy, in guiding us to an appropriate replacement for our countertops. We picked out the actual slab of granite that was used in our kitchen and since there was wide variation in the color and patterns within the slab we asked if we could be involved in the placement of the template on the granite. Anise and Nadine were very accommodating and called me when they were ready to do this. It was important to me to be involved in this process. The installers came a couple of days later to install the granite. I was impressed that Anise also came and assisted with the installation. It is apparent that the people at Marble Granite World take pride in their work and they want their customers to be happy with the outcome. We are very pleased with our new countertops and would not hesitate to recommend Marble Granite World
The were several steps to the process but it was very easy to deal with and they completed the work with very little disruption to my life. The countertops were replaced first which required a visit for them to measure everything which took about an hour and then they installed the countertops 1 to 2 weeks later. American Woodreface contracted this out with a countertop installer but they hired a plumber to come in afterwards and install and hookup all the plumbing to the sink and garbage disposal. That couldn't be done until the next day as the glue from the installers had to set overnight. So, I was without a kitchen sink for one day. The cabinets were measured by a person from cabinet reface and it took about a month for those to be ready. But they came out with everything and did the complete kitchen in one day. They usually schedule for two days, but my kitchen was fairly small so they stayed until 7pm and finished it up in just one day. They put up plastic to keep dust out of the house and cleaned everything up before they left so you couldn't tell they were there other than the much improved appearance of the kitchen. Just having it done so quickly with so little disruption and down time was worth the cost. The cabinets look much more high end than what was there before and they replaced one lower cabinet with pot drawers which I love! I provided the new faucet, garbage disposal and knobs. They installed those and provided everything else to create a vastly improved kitchen
Ron and his design & installation team at Luxura did an amazing job remodeling my dated kitchen and master bath! They were so helpful in terms of creating a design to fit my functional requirements and sense of personal style. The project management process and installation was seamless. I was amazed at their attention to every detail and extremely pleased that they were so organized, clean and professional while working in my home. I would highly recommend KB Renovations (Luxura Cabinets) to anyone looking to remodel/update a kitchen or bathroom
The entire project went well. Jeff was on time, did what we agreed for him to do, cleaned up all debris, and made me feel like I was his only customer . He or a member his crew was my house most days. I would use his company again.
It was very good. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They did a lot of tile work and changed the whole lighting. I recommended them to my friends and family
Jim and his crew did excellent work. They replaced our existing deck and added a new sunroom 20'x12'. Sunroom included two walls of windows, roof with gutters, drywall and painting. All aspects of he work was of the highest standard. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
EXCELLENT from start to finish! Designer/salesman thoroughly explained the process, costs, options, and payment plans. He was not pushy and thoroughly answered our questions and concerns. Installers were very professional and kept us updated as to what was going on and what was left to do. They removed all debris and cleaned up after themselves! We highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again for future projects!
They were very professional, helpful and responsive in answering questions and giving us a quote. In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service
Walked in the other day and was amazed to see all the selection they have stuffed into their place. I went in looking for tile for my bathroom but I am sure I will come back to have them do my kitchen. Ordering was easy and the people working are extremely helpful. Ms sandy was the nicest!
I like everything. They are on time. They are really good about communicating. If there is an issue that arises, they are great at coming up with solutions. Repair whatever the issue is and make changes. They show up when they say they're going to show up. The work they're doing I think is quality work. They have good communication skills, punctual, quality. I trust them. They do what they say they're going to do. Now, they did show up on time, but they are supposed to finish up one of our bathrooms which is leaked, and it will be finished this week I can tell and I haven't had to sit on them or anything and the other bathroom is supposed to be finished in up to two more weeks and actually it will probably be finished a week early. So, I am impressed with the way they schedule things. So, without hesitation, I would use them again. The first time I met this guy that owns the company he said, "How did you find out about me because I don't advertise?" And he said all his business is all word of mouth and it is true, it's word of mouth and I have already told several people in our neighborhood. He doesn't even put a sign in front of their yard
Sun Stone Enterprise, arrived at my home and took measurements of my existing countertop, cut and hand painted a custom designed a 12 foot cement countertop for my home. I requested that the colors for the countertop match a painting I have hanging my living room. I am very please with the out come. Its not only functional as a countertop but it uniqueness is a nice conversation piece that I show off to friends and guest. Shirley Charlotte, N

What do customers in Winston Salem say about Concrete Countertop Installation?
Visited Vintage Stone for an estimate and select pattern; visited other companies and saw a "great" granite pattern for kitchen. Vintage Stone secured the preferred granite pattern (selected bath countertops from remnants). Eric came to my home a made countertop templates; Installation was scheduled. The countertops and bath backsplahes were installed on same day. Full backsplash in kitchen was installed after plumber installed faucets. I liked the fact that Eric created the backsplash templates AFTER the countertops were installed. The "veins" in the kitchen (countertops/backsplash) were lined up perfectly - it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Installers were knowledgeable, professional and prompt; cleaned-up well and took pride in their tasks. A special granite piece was fabricated and installed to enhance/cover-up the back of the range (purchased a freestanding range vs. drop-in range for safety reasons) - absolutely AWESOME!! I am totally satisified!! Picture perfect!!!!
