I contacted the company for an estimate and they were able to come out the same day to look at my roof. He said he would come back the next day to repair. The next day it looked like they had completed some work, although I was not there until they had finished. I paid him $600. He said if the roof was still leaking after this he would come back free of charge. He guaranteed his work. Well after the next heavy rain I still noticed a leak in the exact same spot. I called him (ad in phone book says 24 hour service) and left a message. Didn't hear back so I called again 2 days later. Whoever answered the phone said the owner was out of town and would call me back in 2 days. Never got a call so I called again and left a message. The owner's brother called me and said they would be by over the weekend. No one ever came by or called. Since then I have called several more times and have not been able to get a hold of anyone and no one has returned my messages

A leak had developed below a dormer this spring evidenced by water stains in a ceiling. After about an hour of heavy rain this weekend I could see that quite a bit of water was coming through. I called J Lopez roofing about 8 Monday morning. Mr. Lopez arrived about 10. He checked the flashing around the dormer and said it was entirely missing below the dormer. This did not totally surprise me as I had to deal with leaks around another dormer caused by shoddy work last year. Mr. Lopez gave an estimate and was able to do the repair that afternoon for what I feel was a reasonable price. After a half inch of rain Tuesday PM and another 1.3 inches of heavy rain Wednesday afternoon no sign of the leak. Two thumbs up for J. Lopez roofing

I had a roof leak due to a gutter penetrating a shingle (bad gutter install - not tip-top). My call for an estimate was returned the next day and ultimately he was able to get out that day as well. While repairing that he also addressed some standpipe gaskets I asked him to look at and fix. I was foolish to have him proceed with all the above before asking the price, but it came back very fair, and he even revisited a week later after we discovered another leak at no charge. Regarding the negative review I saw - understand that you are not their only client and to accommodate your emergency means neglecting someone else. My schedule was flexible enough to allow Steve to call when he was diving between larger jobs on short notice, but sometimes you're gonna have to wait. I gave a B on responsiveness because I personally can't trust perfect reviews and though my experience is limited I expect most calls end up in a voicemail that is not returned until the end of the day or the following morning

Alert Construction Remodeling & Repair Inc
I had water damage to my plaster walls and sheetrock ceiling in my bathroom from a roof leak in my bathroom. Since my house is over 90 years old, there was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The guys from Alert Home Repair did a great job installing the fan and repairing the plaster and replacing the sheetrock. I'm used to waiting a couple of weeks to schedule a job, but they were able to schedule the contractors within 24 hours. I was so pleasantly surprised by that. Even though it was a small repair, they were super-careful and professional, and took extra time to go over the process with me (since I am nosy and ask a lot of questions). I have another small repair pending for which I will definitely seek their help. Thanks for a job well-done

BEWARE! NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE WORK! NEVER RETURNED MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS! Spoke with Tony on the phone and he came to my house and provided an estimate. I talked with him three days later to confirm that he was chosen to do the work over two other contractors. He agreed to do the work the following Monday or Tuesday. He never showed up. I called and left multiple messages on his voicemail that week. Just in case there was a family or medical emergency, I called again the next week and left two other messages. Again, no return call. Very unprofessional. Completely unreliable

RICHARD MANUS ROOFING SIDING & WINDOWS
After two heavy rainfalls on two consecutive nights we discovered a ceiling leak. I spent two days calling two different roofers but was not able to get either to come out and look at our problem. They were both clearly too busy to follow up on new business. My third call was to Richard Manus, whose response was refreshingly different. He too was busy with other work, but he still agreed to come out the same day and assess our problem. He showed up promptly and wrote us an estimate on the spot. The next morning he and a helper came out and took care of the repairs quickly and efficiently and for a reasonable price. He was thorough, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. In the process of completing the repairs, he came across a couple of other minor problems and took care of those without adding anything to his estimate. We were delighted with the job Mr. Manus did for us, especially since the work was done on a Friday leading into a holiday weekend. After being put off by a couple of other roofers, we were more or less resigned to the idea that we would not be able to get the work done until after the holiday. Thanks to Mr. Manus's conscientiousness, we were able to enjoy the holiday weekend without worrying about rain staining our ceiling. We will certainly recommend him to friends and family

Joe's very fair, reasonable, and professional. He stands behind his work. We had one roofer come out three times and still couldn't fix the leak. Joe came out, spent five minutes on the roof, then said "here's your problem." He took care of the leak and said if it ever leaks, to call him, and he'll come back out to fix it - no charge. It hasn't leaked

We discovered a leak that was about to damage interior ceiling. Guessed that it was coming from old flashing around a vent. Not knowing anyone who did this type of repair, I found Roof Leak Solutions in the Yellow Pages.He suggested he run by and take a look. Del came by the same day, confirmed the location of the leak, and gave me a quote. I okayed the repair and he was on site the next morning. They replaced the flashing and as preventive, replaced flashing around another vent that would have leaked soon. All around excellent service and work

The price was way too much, but the insurance paid it. I don't know if it was reasonable or not. It was about $4500.00. I don't know the breakdown. They came out and they removed the wet damaged items. A team came in and took off the damaged siding, roofing, and debris. They did an excellent job of taking my clothes to the cleaners and getting things cleaned or dry-cleaned. They had a person who was not directly with them remove the tree. My experience with them was very positive

Plymax came out the afternoon of the 12th, gave us an estimate on how much the repair would run us, and when they would be back to fix it, which was within a week. As roof leaks go, our was a super simple one - a nail had gone through a shingle. Plymax was back on 11/17, removed the nail, and replaced the shingles. Called Tesh and they came that day, analyzed the situation, explained everything to me, quoted me a price, and fixed the problem. From start to finish, it was less than one hour. Our problem was solved immediately. One of my neighbors had a leak in their garage ceiling. I recommended Tesh to him. He called that day and they too came out and fixed his problem that very day. Jeff came out and found hail damage from a previous storm on one side of my roof. He helped me file the claim and when my insurance elected to only pay for part of the repair/replacement, he went to bat for me explaining to the insurance company the need for the entire roofs replacement. Jeff's experience and knowledge in roofing was vital in my insurance companies acknowledgment that the entire roof be replaced at only the cost of my deductible. Jeff is a great guy, very professional and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

The Service Team of the Triad is absolutely one of the best companies I've ever encountered. This was my second time using their service: the first time was due to a tree falling on my home a couple of years ago which caused substantial damage, and the most recent time was due to a hot water heater leak. On both incidents, the Service Team was always punctual, professional, honest, extremely thorough, courteous and most of all caring---from the office personnel--to each individual technician--to the owner. The entire staff was very concerned for my issue. They worked with my limited income, providing me with a very reasonable quote, without compromising on the service. I felt as though they handled my situation the same as they would have handled someone who lives in an upscale neighborhood. They made sure to wear foot coverings as to not track dirt through my home and were mindful of my home on every visit. They made sure that the job was done properly and completely. I would highly recommend the Service of Triad and would definitely use their service again (which I pray I never have to :-). May God continue to bless your establishment and staff

First of all I have to say that this review is long overdue. I had thought I completed it back when the work was done and couldn't figure out why I was getting notices asking me to do it. This was a fantastic experience all around. We had Greg and his crew at Blue Skies come out and remove the existing shingles down to the plywood, Replace all the pipe boots, vents and flashing and install new shingles. The work was done due to a storm we had around here with high winds, hail and all sorts of nastiness. From start to finish I couldn't have been more pleased. Greg is a polite professional who took the time to explain the whole process and answered every question I had so I'll add patience to list of qualities he and his workers have. The clean up was something I was worried about. We spend a lot of time in the backyard with our dogs so roof nails are not a surprise I wanted. I needn't have worried, they triple checked the area around the whole house with magnets. I can't recommend Greg and Blue Skies roofing enough. In this day and age it is so refreshing to find a contractor who actually does what he says he is going to do and who values the customer. Use Blue Skies without hesitation

Shortly after purchasing our 1972-built home in 2005 we had a roof leak near a valley where a sun room was added in 1991. We called Jesse and he was on-site and immediately saw the problem with the shingle overlay on the existing roof. (Interestingly, the home had been owned by a building contractor as his residence, and he had added the sun room!) Jesse suggested exposing and both valleys, adding a valley trough, and replacing with matching shingles properly laid. The problem was corrected at a very fair price, and we never had another problem. So, in 2012 when we needed the entire roof replaced we called Jesse again. His crew worked quickly, did not damage our K-Guard gutters, and cleaned up well after the job. His pricing was fair, and I would much rather deal directly with someone who knows his trade than with a larger company who sends a salesman to do the estimate then the work crew. (Less overhead cost to cover as well.) Jesse gave me his handwritten estimate to start things, and I handed him my personal check at the end. There are things worse than doing business the old-fashioned way
