It went very well. They worked at a residence of an elderly that I take care of. They had a very competent technician, they did a terrific job, and we were very pleased with them. They are a wonderful company-I know them. They have been around forever and they did a super job on this. The staff were extremely professional

they have repairmen familiar with such systems - not everyone will service them. I was very satisfied.

We have used Reedy's to inspect our 20+ year old boiler/furnace each season for the last three years. Each time, the service technician has been prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. The only problem that we have encountered is that someone isn't always on duty to make service appointments when we have called

We came home on a Sunday night from out of town (22 degrees outside temp) and our oil fired heating system had died while we were away. It was an old boiler that needed to be replaced and at the current oil price decided to go with gas. Piedmont Gas heard our plight and did a speedy good job installing a gas line to the house the next week. Not many companies install boilers but we found Bodenheimer through a representative of Piedmont Gas. They arrived promptly as scheduled and worked on the installation until finished. This job required skilled planning and plumbing. Bodenheimer met the challenge and were a joy to work with

Eanes Heating And Air Conditioning

Over the past 18 months Eanes has replaced two HVAC units for us. They are always courteous and responsive. We have a boiler/Radiant Heat system which is completely separate from The AC system. Both new AC installs have been quite challenging as the boiler mechanics seem to always get in the way. This time, what should have been a 1-day job has become a 6 day job which has ended with sending out a dry wall guy to fix the hole they made in order to run a new electrical wire to the boiler (not part of the AC install, but something they ran into during the hook up of the AC). They have taken this all in stride, remained calm, committed and professional at no extra cost to us. Wow! Awesome customer service

Davidson Heating & Air Inc

We were having a problem getting the baseboard heat to heat the downstairs of our home. The heat source is a gas boiler that heats water and circulates it via copper pipes around our home, up and down stairs. Upstairs was nice and toasty, downstairs was frigid. I work from home, so heat during the day downstairs in my office was very important. I heard from a neighbor that my home's original occupant used to use Davidson heating and air for the servicing of the boiler, got the number for them and called them to service the heating. David was the tech who came out for the service call. He adjusted the boiler heat. the temperature was set high enough to boil the water and create steam, which would put air in the lines (pipes) and lower the effectiveness of the boiler heating. David and the tech who came out with him also checked under the house in the crawl space to make sure that the pipes weren't leaking and also to help diagnose the issue downstairs. They found out that the pump was going out, so the water wasn't circulating the downstairs, and the only reason it worked upstairs was because the water had been boiling, and hot air rises. David ordered a pump and came out the next day to do the install. It was quick, the guys were very clean and my home was finally warm!! The pipes make much less noise now, also, when circulating, probably because there's less air in the lines

We had no experience with this type of heat. We had just bought the house and wanted to make sure we could safely light the pilot light (it's gas). The tech seemed to check the boiler out, said it was fine, that the pilot lights itself, and gave us instruction on how to bleed the air out of the lines. That was pretty much the entire visit. The tech didn't stay long enough to make sure the heat circulated throughout the house, and that the system actually worked. Another company was called out to do that and it was discovered that the pump was going out and no able to circulate the heater water

I purchased the home and wanted to replace the 40 year old oil heater. I was told they were the only folks in Winston Salem that do "boiler work" I was given a quote for what I thought was an efficient unit. I had renters in the house so I was not there to check on the system. They could not get the house warm, but they never called me to help them with the problem. The thermostat in the control panel of the boiler was set so low that the tepid water would not heat the house. When I moved into the house a year and a half later I found that the thermostat did not work. I called for them to come and replace the thermostat and the outside faucet with new weatherproof units while they were there. The plumber that did the work could not get a joint to stop leaking and worked on it for an hour until I told him that he had to replace the pipe because there were too many joints in a short space. I have to the pipe he took out if you want to see a picture of it! I hired another plumber to fix the control valve that was installed backward

These people know what they're doing, are willing to patiently explain it to less knowledgeable customers and to take the time to do their work well. I also appreciated that the repairman made one or two recommendations for work that needed to be done but put no pressure on me to set up further appointments or anything

This provider and the service manager were terrific. Everyone I dealt with made me feel that my project was very important and that they wanted to provide the best service possible. The service manager talked with the general contractor who was doing other work on the house and they realized that the current air conditioning compressor outside the house was sitting on top of the oil tank for the boiler that provided the circulating hot water for the old heating system. Had they not discovered this, there would have been substantial cost and effort later to move the new equipment in order to remove the underground oil tank which must be removed in order to sell the house. Despite challenges like needing to move the compressor to a new area on another side of the house and build a new support for it and work around the old air ducts, etc. the work was performed quickly and extra items such as converting the air intake grate in the house so that it could be opened and a filter put in so that no one has to go into the attic to put in a filter were really impressive. I appreciated the time and willingness to explain everything to me. This company goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied and that the work is properly done. Both the owner and service manager were on site as the work was done to make sure everything went well. I am grateful to Angie's List for leading me to this provider

I've never gotten over it. The guy did seven welds on a copper pipe, when there should of been one. He kept welding and welding, and scotched the boards on my floor. When you're in my basement and look up, the wood is gorgeous. The wood is replaced with all copper, it's very industrial looking and kind of neat. I like it. I took down all the extended ceilings. I needed and outside faucet. It was broken, and leaking, so it was shut off. I asked the guy to replace it. Instead of replacing just a piece of pipe, there was seven welds in it. He couldn't get it to stop leaking, so he finally took it out and he left it with me. I have it till this day. I can't believe that someone would put that many welds in a short piece of pipe. It's ridiculous. That's not all they did. They put in a thermostat. I have a gas fire hot water boiler that they put in.They put in additional pieces of lumen. When they did that, it changed our room temperature control. It's a mechanical device that closes off the hot water to the room if it does not need more heat. They put that in wrong, and they killed to thermostats, and they still didn't get it right. I had to get another plumber to fix that. The heater that they sold me is not the most efficient heater I could have gotten at the time. I just give them a solid "F" for screwing up multiple times on my property, like they weren't given a chance. They came in and said that they fixed it, and they didn't. It was just a mistake upon mistake. I spent thousands of dollars with them. They put in a furnace, plus the service calls, which was their fault, and then I had to pay for them. Putting the outside faucet in was a fiasco. They weren't timely. I just felt like I was taken advantage of because I was a single woman, and I was going through a really bad time. They just didn't sit down and talk with me when I brought the heater and furnace
Tech was scheduled for next day after calling in the evening and arrived in the specified time window. He quickly diagnosed bad capacitors in both indoor and outdoor units. He also gave me information on what to look out for in the future, since my unit is definitely showing its age. I was not pressured to purchase a new unit (this has happened with other companies in the past), which to me speaks volumes about the company's integrity. Great service and will definitely hire again in the future
They are super. We have great luck with this system. It is a great system and good quality product. It is kind of high end stuff but very good and worth it. We have had one problem in 10 years.

What do customers in Winston Salem say about Boiler Installation?
This is the first company I’ve called that actually knew how to work on the boiler and how to adjust the pressure monitors. Walter was very knowledgeable in his field and was very informative. He was great to work with and I would highly recommend them.
