Dave Claude (Finishing Touch Carpentry) did a fantastic job with this project. I had 5 hollow core doors in my house and wanted to replace them, along with the base and door trim, with now solid wood doors. Dave came to my house and was very friendly and knowledgable. He provided me with an estimate that was both within our budget and time frame. His professionalism stood out amongst the competition. When the time came for the work to be done I allowed Dave to work in my house while I was at work, it took two days to complete the project and when I came home after the first day the house was spotless, you couldn't even tell there was someone there all day removing doors and trim; there was zero mess. After the second day, I came home and everything was completed beyond my expectations. I plan on having more trim replaced in the future and will absolutely be contacting Finishing Touch Carpentry

I received a phone call from Wind River Construction within an hour or two after requesting quotes from 3 companies on Angie's List. Wind River was the most responsive, and also reasonably priced. Two guys came out on the days they said they would be here, and completed the work well. They were able to match my existing fascia trim and purchase the exact color/brand we needed. It was very simple and straight forward. I paid when the job was completed. I would definitely hire them again. Thanks

Kevin was professional and did an excellent job. Our counter top was delayed by the company we ordered it from ( which meant no sink to use) and came in on a Friday. Kevin was working that day at another site, so he came in and worked all day Saturday so we did not have to go the weekend without a kitchen sink. Kevin did a beautiful job on the work performed. The cost was right on for work described in the original estimate. We had him do some extra jobs, fixing walls, building the soffits, and installing crown molding, so the cost was more than quoted , but only because we had him do more work. Yes we will hire him again

DO NOT HIRE SHANE. We have to redo pretty much everything he did. He also said he would fix my floors and never did. He brought me a small bottle of super glue. He did a good job painting but everything else is terrible. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

Chuck's keen eye for all the details needed to do the job right, are second to none! His overall quality and workmanship performed was outstanding and met or exceeded our expectations! Chuck actually replaced the two new hardwood stairways for us due too many noticeable errors from the previous installer. They have been extraordinary and really very good. They were working on a project for us this winter and they have done some estimates for us on a couple of projects. We have an ongoing relationship with them. The work that they did last winter was essentially a change in a porch. They had to put a new siding on and they had to do a new trim and it was very very well done. They came within the budget, in fact, a little lower than the budget that they had estimated. Their price was reasonable and their responsiveness was excellent

The jobs they did on my previous residence were all done with in my budget and to my specifications. They did an awesome job on my latest remodel at my new house also. They installed my windows and did various other things to remodel my whole upstairs they sub contracted out my wood floors and chose well they are beautiful. They reinstalled my cabinets and put in new countertop and all the work that comes before that like removing trim and cupboards etc. They are great and pleasant to have around I use them for all my projects

Provided great suggestions on where to place windows, etc. as well as decorative advice (door knobs, trim, etc.). Was also flexible as we weighed out size, location and design of both sunroom and shed. Generally fair priced. Some unexpected delays with sickness, personal time, etc. of his contractors but this is typical with most projects of this size. I'd say the delays numbered in days and not weeks. We contacted numerous general contractors in the area. Troy was the only one that did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and how he said he would do it. He returned requests for contact promptly, showed up on time for both the estimate and to complete the work, and the estimate was provided professionally and with adequate detail, which had been an issue with estimates received from other contractors. These things alone won the work for him hand's down. His was not the cheapest estimate we received, but his rate was definitely reasonable, and his professionalism and follow-through are unmatched. Although several of the projects we discussed are not being completed simply because they are not in our budget this year, Troy provided the best suggestions and information regarding each project out of the several contractors that provided estimates. In discussing the projects with him, we felt confident that he would not take shortcuts. Due to winter, the work is to be completed in two parts, with the first part having been completed already. He showed up on time, on a bitterly cold day and got right to work outside, without stopping or complaining. He was respectful of our home and laid protection down on the flooring as the work required him to make frequent trips in and out of the house. He didn't mind me standing over him occasionally to see what he was doing to try and understand a bit more about the house and the work being done. He was always glad to answer any questions we had. We have quite a bit of work to be completed over the next few years, and provided everything continues as it has thus far, he'll be our go-to guy. We recommend him highly

From beginning to end, Jordan was attentive and diligent to make sure the project was done to our specifications. He took the extra time to ensure he understood the plan, and it turned out exactly as I had planned. The work was done efficiently, and he was careful to keep a clean workspace. Tyler arrived on time, was very pleasant to work with, and is very trustworthy. I wasn't sure whether he would need to buy any materials for the work he was doing for me so I left extra money just in case since I needed to leave for work. I also asked him to look around to see what other things he could take care of. I have a fixer upper house so there are lots of things that need to be done. I will definitely hire him again to replace the garage door and opener, install a storm door to the house, and replace a window. He can handle minor plumbing and electrical work, too

The door looks nice until you look close-up at it, then you see that the rectangular edges where the beautiful glass insert is very sloppy, so that friends looking at it ask "what is that stuff?" So if you go to ProBuild and look at the doors on display, note closely the workmanship. I noticed it and said no, I wanted higher quality, and Jon S. assured me that "Oh, those are an old display, this door here is what yours would look like". And I fell for that, but in fact our door has the same sloppy workmanship. Another problem is that it does not seal well to keep out the cold air, but maybe the guy who installed it did it wrong (but I thought a pre-hung door would fit properly in its frame!). I asked Jon to take a look and see if he could help us get it sealed, and he said he would drop by but he never did and I didn't call back to ask why not. The price was good and the customer service was great until after the door was installed. And it looks good from a distance, and on a warm spring day the leaking air around the door edges doesn't matter

CW Cabinetry also provided 3D CAD drawings showing exactly what the finished look would be. The craftsmanship of the finished shelves is outstanding and the Todd was an excellent communicator throughout the process. Finally, the day of the install went very, very smoothly...and Todd and his crew were not just respectful of our home, but were a real pleasure to get to know. We have already requested and received design ideas and an estimate on a future project for cabinetry in our home. We will not hesitate to utilize CW Cabinetry...and would recommend them to others without hesitation

I love the new doors (beautifully matched and installed), the living room paint job (neat and fast work), the shed (very sturdy), the storage room shelves (they're huge for suitcases and holiday decorations), and the outside metal door (I appreciate how you reinforced the door frame and made the door much more stable than the old one--nicely done)
